@Sassy144 it's such an anxious time at the start! Probably every other day between 4-8 weeks I was convinced I didn't feel pregnant etc etc. My nausea started around 6 weeks and would follow a pattern of feeling fine for a day or two then bad for a day or two so bare that in mind, it can come and go :)

Sassy144 · 17/05/2022 10:04

@Annny27 thank you, that's good to know!

speake1 · 17/05/2022 11:07

@Skl2021 hope everything went well with your scan 🙏🏼💙 amazing that you’re half way already, time is flying! Xxx

Skl2021 · 17/05/2022 11:21

Thanks guys for all the support ❤️ had my scan. Heart was in my mouth for most of it felt so sick. Baby still being slightly awkward so I have to go back for a rescan in 2 weeks as they couldn't get all the checks done 😣 I am going to be in and out of the hospital every week at this rate 🤦 nothing is going to be straight forward with this pregnancy 🙈 xx

Annny27 · 17/05/2022 11:33

@Skl2021 glad it went as well as it could have 💙 did they confirm gender?

barneymcgroo · 17/05/2022 11:56

@Skl2021 I had that with DS2 - awkward bugger! I think they're just so keen to be able to check everything is okay and want to be as thorough as possible. And you get another chance to see them in a couple of weeks, which is an added bonus.

flowergarden16 · 17/05/2022 12:24

Ah @Skl2021 glad it was all ok but so annoying. My baby was so active in my 12 week scan we took forever to go through everything. Fingers crossed will all be ok xx

arianasky · 17/05/2022 12:25

@Skl2021 glad all was good, sounds like you're going to have your hands full when little one arrives the way he keeps playing up 😂🌈

Cruz86 · 17/05/2022 13:17

Hi everyone! I haven't been on here properly in sooo long. I've been so busy and was becoming obsessed so I had to control myself 😂

How are you all?

@Skl2021 that baby of yours is a little terror already!! At least you know what you'll be up against when he's here 😆

@Lou2022 thinking of you today ❤️

Welcome to all of the newbies and congratulations!

@flowergarden16 my nausea eased right off but seems to have returned this week which is annoying! Hoping it's just an odd week and won't carry on.

@Tulip1112 what a scary time you've had! So glad baby is all okay though 🥰

@Annny27 im going to get some leggings from Love Leggings but apart from that, I haven't got any maternity clothes yet. Really struggling with what to wear each day 😂 I did buy some slightly bigger jeans from H&M and they're nice, will probably last another 6 weeks or so.

@aesgriff how frustrating that baby wasn't cooperating!! When is your rescan? I have my gender scan on Saturday too eeek! Hope you feel better after seeing baby on screen though?

@Bridgey8 congratulations on your 💙💙

Seems boys are taking the lead at the mo!!

And congratulations to all who have had successful 12 week scans too ❤️

I can't scroll back anymore 🤣

Xx

@Annny27 no 😣 didn't even ask us if we wanted to know 🤔 unless they don't so it anymore. She was quite stern and abrupt so didn't want to ask 🤦 x
@barneymcgroo it's not that he's moving he lays in an awkward position and won't move and they need to see things at a better angle 🤦 xx
@flowergarden16 yes the anxiety was getting to me the longer she was looking I was just waiting for bad news 😣 xx
@arianasky definitely trouble already I haven't had one scan yet that's gone to plan all have been rescans and I have to have so much more checks and scans than in my other pregnancies and it's giving me anxiety already 🙈 x
@Cruz86 wondered where u had gone 🙊 how u doing? Yes this baby is trouble all ready 😬🤣 keeping me on my toes! I have a feeling I will be at hospital alot 🙈 xx

Cruz86 · 17/05/2022 15:54

I know, I literally disappeared @Skl2021 😂 I started to get a bit of energy and ended up doing too much. Now I feel shattered again 🤦🏼‍♀️ apart from that, I'm really good thanks! How are you? I feel like time is starting to slow down again and I should be more like 20-22 weeks, not 15+4 🙄 xx

OP posts:
Skl2021 · 17/05/2022 16:13

@Cruz86 haha I had the energy phase and now I'm back to being lazy and tired 🤣🤦I'm doing ok anxiety comes and goes as I feel movements and then some days don't and it just makes u worry 🙊 yes I think time is slowing for me too 😬 I think once I get too 24/28 weeks I have appointments nearly every week so will be busy then 🤦 did u say u were having a gender scan? Xx

Lizm1990 · 17/05/2022 18:51

@Sassy144 that’s good 😊 I’m the same as you though analysing each symptom and worrying when I’m not feeling anything. Today I felt good cus I could feel my boobs were sore when walking 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣 and some cramping, sore teeth.

Girls does your midwife ask for an earlier scan than the usual 12 weeks if you have had a MMC? My mother in law seems to think so but my midwife called me today to book in for my first appt when I will be 8+6 and that would be two days before when my baby officially passed so the anxiety is making its appearance! I’m in two minds about a private early scan as that’s what I did last time and it was so upsetting, there was no privacy. Plus I can’t help think if I seen a HB at say 8 weeks then had the standard hospital one after, I would be dreading there would be no HB in the second scan as my baby lived to 9+1 so the early scan doesn’t feel reassuring to me, but the unknowing is torture too!! The joys of it all.

@Skl2021 pleased it went good today 🥰

Skl2021 · 17/05/2022 19:48

@Lizm1990 thankyou ❤️ I also had a MMC and I never got any extra scans after it just the usual booking appointment then 12 week scan. I also chose not to have a private early scan as I also had one last time and seen a heartbeat but stil went on to miscarry. I found it really hard around the time I miscarried but just take it a day at a time and think positive. New pregnancy 💞 xx

sunnyd67 · 17/05/2022 20:42

@Cruz86 just realised we are very close in our pregnancies, I am 15+5 today. 👏

Elspethelf · 18/05/2022 03:28

I had blood taken at exactly 5 weeks and the result came back 6300 which is in the normal range thank goodness.

At what week did you all start getting sick? I’m flying home to see my mum in Australia for the first time in years due to Covid lockdowns. I’ll be 6.5 weeks and am terrified sickness will start on the plane.

Poppy9991 · 18/05/2022 07:38

@Elspethelf I’m also going through this journey and 4w5d today (had 2 previous MCs at around 6-7w) and going to ring my GP for repeat beta tests. Do you know what a normal range is? I thought the important thing was doubling numbers at around 48h but should I expect a certain level? Thanks!!

arianasky · 18/05/2022 10:00

So I'm 13 weeks my scan is on Friday but I've got a cramping type of feeling in my vagina this morning? Sorry if TMI but it's making me nervous has anyone else felt similar? It's not painful but it's noticeable makes me stop and take notice type of thing?

Prayingformyrainbow93 · 18/05/2022 10:11

Hi ladies hope everyone is doing ok! Not been on here for a while but I decided yesterday I wanted to go find out our baby gender, so we did just that! Baby GIRL due November 💗 measuring perfectly, overwhelming love xx

Skl2021 · 18/05/2022 10:27

@arianasky I'm sure it's probably nothing 🤞 I have had all sorts of different cramps. Could it be lightening crotch 🙊 xx
@Prayingformyrainbow93 lovely news ❤️🌈 little girl how lovely 💗 xx

arianasky · 18/05/2022 10:35

@Skl2021 I was thinking maybe lightning crotch as it makes you take notice 😂 but not it's sure if I'm too early for that 🙈

@Prayingformyrainbow93 ah amazing first girl of the thread I think 💕 congratulations 🌈

Skl2021 · 18/05/2022 10:39

@arianasky I think you would know if it was that I hate it definitely makes u stop and take a breathe like a sharp electric zap out of nowhere 🤣 not much longer until your scan now 🙌 how u feeling about it xx

arianasky · 18/05/2022 10:49

@Skl2021 yeah that's what it feels like, like a electric shock kind of pressure makes me stop and think what the!? 😂 I'm nervous because it'll be in the hospital where I had the MMC confirmed last time (my other scans were at a different hospital this pregnancy so far) im trying to say to myself I saw baby a fortnight ago at 11+2 and all was fine so the chances of something going wrong after that are smaller but I'm still anxious about it 😞🙏🏻🌈

Skl2021 · 18/05/2022 10:53

@arianasky yes it definitely hurts 🤣🙈 I think it's normal to be anxious after what we have been through. My 12 week scan was in the same room as they told me about my MMC. I was praying I would be in the other room and then when they called me in I was nearly in tears. But like u say this is a new pregnancy and new outcome just have to keep thinking positive 🤞💞 you had a positive scan not so long ago and I'm sure u will again! Xx

arianasky · 18/05/2022 11:22

@Skl2021 oh I'm sorry that happened, I'm worrying about the same thing I can't even imagine waiting in the waiting room without welling up I feel like the trauma will really hit me 😞
