@siobhanmt247 my first consultant appt was the same day as the 12 week scan x

Skl2021 · 28/06/2022 10:22

@siobhanmt247 I had a quick call with consultant at 20 weeks. Now don't see her again until 32 weeks 🤔 so think its different between trusts x

siobhanmt247 · 28/06/2022 10:24

@Skl2021 @speake1 thank you x

Srx1 · 28/06/2022 11:01

@Skl2021 @flowergarden16 Thank you! It really worries me now and can’t relax..
@speake1 thank you, I am trying to stay calm until the appt on Monday but I have also been reading medical reports online to try understand all there is about it 😑 hope you’re all staying calm
@Arwen7 please do you have any experience with this? I see most cases resolve ok on their own but worried about mine because it seems to be a severe dilatation .. thank you

Arwen7 · 28/06/2022 11:55

Hi @Srx1 I'm sorry I don't have any advice to give re that. I have seen quite a few babies born with it so it seems to be fairly common however it is followed up by the paediatrician after birth so we don't really get to know what they do/how it goes! But according to nhs website most cases are not serious and won't affect baby too much. What did they say to you? X

Srx1 · 28/06/2022 12:08

Thank you @Arwen7 They didn’t say much, I have to see the specialist at FMU on Monday for a more detailed scan. I’ve been also reading about it online, I’m just worried as ours seems to be bigger than what is normally mentioned.. 😑

Arwen7 · 28/06/2022 12:15

@Srx1 hopefully you get more info and reassurance on Monday 💕 Try not to google too much though! Xx

Srx1 · 28/06/2022 13:50

@Arwen7 thank you, I will try not to xx

Sassy144 · 28/06/2022 16:42

My 12 week scan went well today and there's definitely a baby in there! It was doing headstands for us haha, so relieved ❤️🌈

Yay lovely scan @Sassy144 !!

Sassy144 · 29/06/2022 03:27

@Srx1 @barneymcgroo @flowergarden16 thank you 🥰

Cruz86 · 29/06/2022 07:35

I was really against any scans other than the standard ones @Skl2021, only because I didn't want to see too much before they're born. But I absolutely loved it and am so glad they did it unexpectedly! Under 100 days for you til baby is here, that's crazy!! ☺️

Ahh how lovely @Annny27 🥰 that makes perfect sense too!

@sunnyd67 I'm so sorry you're having a tough time with this pregnancy. Anxiety really is exacerbated after a mc. Although not to the same extent, I have found myself worrying and crying over things that could happen now, preterm labour etc. Being pregnant sure is a journey. Hope you're okay.

@Srx1 I don't have any experience with what's been discovered but I just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and I'm glad you're being seen by specialists now who will put a plan in place for you.

Glad your scan went well @flowergarden16!

@speake1 sorry you're having a tough time on top of normal pregnancy stuff. It's good they're monitoring things closely but definitely not what you need at the moment 😩

@siobhanmt247 my first consultant appointment was at 16 weeks so think it varies.

Congratulations on a positive scan @Sassy144! ☺️ lovely picture too ❤️🌈

Anyone been to a concert pregnant? I have tickets for Ed sheeran, they are seated, but wondering if its OK? Will it be too loud?

Cruz86 · 29/06/2022 09:37

Not a concert @Amphibian94 but I went to an Arsenal match at 36 weeks pregnant with my son 😂 I would go and enjoy yourself if I were you!

flowergarden16 · 29/06/2022 11:06

@Amphibian94 yes! It was fine but maybe stand near the back hahah xx

Srx1 · 29/06/2022 11:43

Thank you very much @Cruz86 I was hoping to relax a bit and enjoy it all from now on but.. we'll see what they say on Monday

Arwen7 · 29/06/2022 14:13

@Amphibian94 I would definitely go and enjoy! I'm going to a music festival next weekend. I would only be worried if it was standing in a crowded place for obvious reasons but seating should be ok. Also you won't be right next to the sound system I assume so should be fine? Xxx

Sassy144 · 29/06/2022 14:33

@Amphibian94 I'm going to a concert at the O2 in a couple of weeks, I'm seated so not so worried, more concerned that I won't be able to stay awake until midnight 😂

flowergarden16 · 29/06/2022 14:47

Another day, another round of anxiety. A family I was with in Sunday now all have chicken pox. My mum can't remember if I've had it so now have to have a blood test go find out. Can be very serious if you do get it when pregnant apparently 😭

Skl2021 · 29/06/2022 15:27

@flowergarden16 I'm sure everything will be fine u will be given antiviral tablets if your not immune. Hopefully the test says u are 🤞 my son had it when I was 14 weeks and I wasn't sure if I was immune. Thankfully all was ok and I didn't have the blood test to check x
