@Sassy144 feels like forever doesn't it.
I'll be 8 weeks then, I'm hoping it will reassure me too. It just feels like one eternal wait followed by another, especially with us having IVF.
Is/was anyone else totally symptom-free at 5+3? It's freaking me out. I mean, I have peed about 10 times today already, but nothing, nada. Very disconcerting. I had at least felt a few pulls & cramps fairly regularly last time, and a bit queasy, but I suppose that didn't work out, so what do I know!

sunnyd67 · 08/06/2022 17:04

@Tulip1112 best of luck for tomorrow ❤️

CNizzle · 08/06/2022 17:11

@Tulip1112 all the best for tomorrow. I'm finding it hard to stay positive, but my DH said to me "everything is OK until we know for definite otherwise" for someone so daft, he's very wise.

Tulip1112 · 08/06/2022 17:51

@CNizzle I love that! My DH is just the opposite of me, so overwhelmingly calm and positive- I'm like you're too calm!!! I am not okay!!! Pretty sure I'm going to cry before, during and after the scan regardless of the result lol x x

flowergarden16 · 08/06/2022 17:54

Good luck @Tulip1112 xx

barneymcgroo · 08/06/2022 18:33

Best of luck for tomorrow @Tulip1112. If you saw a heartbeat at 10 weeks, you're more than likely going to see one tomorrow, statistically speaking, though I know that doesn't help even the tiniest bit. Will keep fingers crossed for you x

Annny27 · 08/06/2022 18:43

Yep like @Arwen7 says, sending love to anyone in the first trinester/ early 2nd trimester as its such a tough time after loss 💙

@Tulip1112 good luck

I also had my anomaly scan this week and all looks good :) was lovely to see their feet near to where I feel the kicks:D

Tulip1112 · 08/06/2022 18:44

Thanks everyone. Praying I will be on here with good news tomorrow 🙏💛

siobhanmt247 · 08/06/2022 18:58

@Tulip1112 i have my 12 week scan tomorrow too and I'm terrified! Good luck

Tulip1112 · 08/06/2022 19:14

@siobhanmt247 ah I remember we are only a couple days different i think on dates so I wondered when yours was! I will be thinking of you tomorrow- best of luck! X

sunnyd67 · 08/06/2022 20:19

@Annny27 I'm glad your scan went well! Mines next Thursday.

@siobhanmt247 good luck for tomorrow ❤️

Arwen7 · 08/06/2022 20:20

Good luck tomorrow too @siobhanmt247 🤞

arianasky · 09/06/2022 08:04

@Tulip1112 @siobhanmt247 good luck today 🌈💕

Sassy144 · 09/06/2022 12:03

@CNizzle I didn't really have any symptoms at 5 weeks, just cramps on and off and tired.

Bridgey8 · 09/06/2022 12:05

Good luck for all the scans at this moment.

Does anyone have any experience with slap cheek? I was exposed over the bank hol (friends baby) so I had to have a blood test today to check if I'm infected or immune. Can't be in contact with anyone pregnant until I get my result! Bloody nightmare!

X

Tulip1112 · 09/06/2022 13:59

Cannot believe it!!!! Scan went amazingly, I've been brought forward a few days so 13 weeks Saturday now and due date 17 December! Never cried so much over good news in my life. The Sonographer was amazing and had already read my notes; she said I will tell you as soon as I know everything is ok and within 3 seconds 'we have a lovely healthy baby'. Baby was being a monkey doing somersaults and stretching so took 20 mins or so to do all the measurements (my poor bladder!!!!) can't believe it, on cloud 9 🥹🥰💛

@Tulip1112 🥰 that's such lovely news! You must feel drained after the worry and now the relief!

Skl2021 · 09/06/2022 14:31

@Tulip1112 lovely news 💞 and such a clear scan pic 🌈✨ xx

Skl2021 · 09/06/2022 14:34

@Bridgey8 don't have any advise sorry but hope your ok! How u feeling lately? I'm so tired again and I'm sure I have been getting Braxton Hicks or tightenings I thought it was too early for that 🤦 hoping it's normal!! X

Annny27 · 09/06/2022 14:59

@Bridgey8 how far along are you? If you are shown to not have immunity they will monitor the baby closely which is mostly done before 20 weeks. Hopefully you have immunity!!

@Tulip1112 lovely news 🥰🥰🥰 baby will be here just for their first Christmas

Bridgey8 · 09/06/2022 15:00

@Skl2021 I'm ok thanks lovely. 24 weeks tomo which was a milestone for me 💕 GP was so nice today when she took my blood and asked if I wanted a little listen for reassurance (even tho he's kicking away - albeit sporadically) so I heard his little heartbeat which was nice. I've had either braxton hicks or an irritable uterus according to midwife - that's what she thought all tightening was! How are you doing?

Great news @Tulip1112 xxx

Annny27 · 09/06/2022 15:19

@Bridgey8 at 24 weeks even if you do have slapped cheek you are out of the danger zone (pre 20 weeks) for any possible complications but glad they are checking immunity anyway!!

CNizzle · 09/06/2022 15:30

@Tulip1112 what a lovely scan pic. Glad everything went well x

arianasky · 09/06/2022 16:00
