@Bridgey8 yes I'm a few days behind you! Can't wait to get to 24 weeks as I feel so on edge with all these pains and worried something is going wrong. So glad they let u listen to the heartbeat always nice to hear! IV never heard of a irritable uterus 🙊 but it does make me worry when it happens think I'm going into labour 🤣🙈 I'm getting tired again and can't handle the heat 🤦 baby's movement are getting stronger tho ♥️ have u bought alot yet? X

Thank you everyone for sending luck. Everything was perfect and I got moved on a few days so 13 weeks today. So relieved!

@Skl2021 yes I was scared too but my midwife said as long as pains are sporadic and not in a pattern (like proper contractions) all should be well. I have bought nothing. Not a thing!!! I've been too scared. Might treat myself to something once I hit 24 weeks :) have you? Xxx

@Bridgey8 I have been getting them everyday for the past few days maybe I have overdone it 🙈 hoping it doesn't continue. I have bought a pack of vests and baby grows 🤣🙊 nothing fancy I'm the same as you too scared to buy anything or admit it yet. We still haven't announced it. X

@Skl2021 what kind of pains are you having? I'm also having strange pains and stomach going what feels like tightening. I'm only 19 weeks.

@sunnyd67 just weird pains now and then and tightening all over my stomach which I thought were Braxton Hicks but it definitely makes me stop in my tracks but I did think it was too early for them 🙈 x

Honestly I've been so scared by these tightenings but my midwife calmed me right down. She said:

A) Braxton hicks - she said it's not too early (I had these weeks ago) and if it's sporadic (not same place / in a pattern like every 5 mins) it's fine. She actually said it was kind of positive as by the time we get to labour our body will be really prepared🧐
B) irritable uterus - she said it could be baby moving abc then irritating a part of my uterus which then tenses for awhile
C) could just be baby moving making tummy hard where they are

She just said to keep an eye and if a pattern happens and I think it's true contractions to obvs go in.

@Skl2021 I'm good thank you you? Maybe? I can feel slight popping when I'm quiet and I can also feel what feels like twitches like pokes sort of? I have my gender scan on Sunday so it'll be nice to have some reassurance and hopefully find out gender

@Skl2021 I hope so 🤞🏻🌈 well I sort of think girl but I'm not sure 😂 I have days when I think boy and days when I think girl so I don't really have a clue 😂

I had my first midwife appt this Wednesday which went really well, I had the same midwife as last time and she was really nice. Kept reminding me it’s a different pregnancy and all. She’s booked my scan eeekkk just now counting down the days until the end of the month now! They drag so much 😩

@Lizm1990 thank you lovely. I know the wait is the worst! Glad you have a lovely midwife though, it really does make a difference! 🥰

The anxiety for tomorrow's scan is really getting to me 😞 I'll be 16+5 but I'm so so nervous more so than I was for my 12 week scan! 🙄

@arianasky I'll have all fingers and toes crossed for you. For what it's worth, I think I'll be the same at my next scan! It's awful that anxiety takes excitement and turns it into worry.

@Lizm1990 aww so nice it was the same midwife. It's so important to remember that all pregnancies are different, even if our worries sometimes blend it all together! When is your scan date?

hi all, I'm not at all sure if this is the right place to post but in September 2021 I had an early miscarriage and honestly didnt really know i was pregnant. I had the symptoms but didnt put 2 and 2 together. we've been actively ttc since January this year and it's been unsuccessful since this cycle. I took 2 tests (hcg strips) and both were faint positive however when I took another 2 tests today at 17dpo (1 first response and 1 hcg strip) the lines are DEFINITELY there but they're quite faint? I'm not sure what to make of this. and words of advice please? docs are closed until Monday so will hopefully try and get an appt then. this is my test from today ❤
