Had my 20 week re scan. Baby still in same position obviously very comfy 🤣🙈 managed to get all the measurements so I feel some relief now. We double checked and it's definitely a boy 🙊 just need to have repeat bloods tomorrow and see where we go from there. Hopefully be able to look forward and get excited a bit if it all comes back ok 🤞🌈 x

@Sassy144 that is great news and hopefully puts your mind at ease! You will have a scan soon too to see your little one 🥰

@siobhanmt247 i totally get how you feel, I’m anxious a lot, any feeling I get down there I instantly go to the loo and its always cm 🤦‍♀️ I’m also dreading the 12 week scan, like you I had a MMC and to hear those words again from the sonographer is my worst nightmare BUT the logical side of me thinks I have to know if it’s good or bad at some point. Fingers crossed for you, you can’t be waiting long now for your scan? I’m 7+4 so got much longer to wait 🤣

@Lizm1990 its a week on Thursday and i’ll be 12w4. I'd wait until 14w if I could though!

@siobhanmt247 all the luck to you for your scan, I don’t know when your scan was last time but I think your timing for the scan is good, see I keep thinking about doing an early scan but if I did that last time say 8 weeks I would have seen a HB and then nothing at the 12 week scan so I totally get why you would want to hold out if you could. I’m personally waiting as long as I can around 12 weeks. Another lady on here suggested to let the sonographer know about what has happened before so they can try and look for the HB straight away, I’m going to take that advice as I don’t know what you experienced but for me the silence was really horrible. Will be thinking of you next week, let us know how you get on 🥰

Mother in law asked if I'm excited about my scan tomorrow, thought I'd be honest and say "well the last time I had a scan it was to confirm a miscarriage so I'm just hoping for good news this time". She ended up calling my husband worried that I was upset or depressed.

I'm shitting it about tomorrow though, absolutely shitting it. I wish the miscarriage didn't steal all the excitement out of the scan, but it really has!

@aesgriff oh my gosh how weird I had this for the first time tonight! I was watching bgt in bed and I could just feel the pinchy stabby feeling right side of my belly button I had to Google why 😂

@Tofu35 scans are never the same after a miscarriage. I stil dread each one. It's horrible that the excitement is taken away 😣. I'm sure everything will be fine 💞 u got this! X

@arianasky I just knew he wouldn't have moved! He better move before I give birth 🙈 he is obviously very comfy even turned away from us and faced my back. So still no decent photos little monkey! I think he is going to be hard work!! X

@arianasky i had thrush and don’t think I’ve had it again, the first lot was asymptomatic though so only showed up on a swab so I maybe wouldn’t know. Hopefully you won’t get it again as it’s such a pain 🤞🏼

@Skl2021 glad your rescan went well & hope you’re feeling a bit better. Bizzarely I’ve now got an irritable rash going on over my back / bum / legs so had the GP yesterday & back again today for blood tests to check liver function etc. They don’t think it’s that but taking a “better safe than sorry” approach I think. Never ending in pregnancy is it!

I think that’s as much as I’ve caught up, hope everyone is doing ok xxx

@speake1 oh no are you itching? I didn't have a rash but it's the same test I'm having again today. My liver function has come back high 😣 so will see were we go or if I need to do anything today. X

@Skl2021 well I've got the cream and a pessary but I'm to scared to use the pessary incase it cause harm 🙄

@arianasky I'm sure it will be safe lots of pregnant people get thrush and use the pessary 🤞 I understand taking new things does cause anxiety after what we have been through 💞 x

@arianasky the only thing you have to do is not use the applicator when inserting the pessary as it can irritate cervix in pregnancy I think (that's what I read anyway about thrush treatment in pregnancy)

@Skl2021 exactly! I've just rang antenatal asking for my screening results and they said a midwife will get back to me, the anxiety was really getting to me it's been 13 days since I did the bloods and I've seen loads of people get their results within 3/4 days so I started getting anxious 😞

@Annny27 yeah I did see that but I'm scared I might place it to high up or something 😂 I will do it tonight though I think

@arianasky I think my midwife said if I don't hear anything then it should be all ok obviously can't speak for yours but try not to panic I know it's easier said than done 💕 hope they get back to you soon 🤞 I'm stuck in day unit still waiting for blood test 🤦 always running behind x

@Skl2021 yeah she did mention that but I'm being daft and worrying about every single thing possible 🙄 oh no hope they don't keep you waiting to long x

So a receptionist from antenatal rang back and just said I can't find out until my 16 week appointment which is at nearly 19 weeks for me 🙄 so another four weeks to wait I was sure they'd send a letter aswell though?

@arianasky I didn't hear anything from midwife just got a letter a few weeks later so hopefully u should get one. Have u got the badger app? Think I got results on that aswell. X

I've got a scan this afternoon, and I'm dreading it. I had one at 8 weeks which was fine, but I should be just over 10 weeks today and I've just got a terrible feeling it's going to confirm another MMC. I wish I could just relax and enjoy this pregnancy but it's impossible 😭

@Skl2021 no they don't do the badger app in S Wales unfortunately, I'm guessing I will get a letter and like they say no news is good news 🤞🏻

Scan went okay, think I was expecting the worst so didn't look at the screen until I heard them say "oh there's the feet, and that's the flutter of a heartbeat". Very overwhelmed just now! I need another scan in a few weeks because they couldn't do accurate measurements (the wee one was standing on their head and refusing to shift round!).
