So pleased for you @Cruz86 xx

arianasky · 27/04/2022 16:27

Amazing @Cruz86 so happy for you 💕🌈

arianasky · 27/04/2022 16:28

So I've seen the dr I am dehydrated and have an infection so antibiotics and lucozade sport is the cure according to the GP, she was lovely and said it's something I'll probably suffer with throughout pregnancy now and ring each time I get a hint of it

calimc83 · 27/04/2022 16:31

@Cruz86 fab pic lovely! @arianasky Hope you feel better soon, rest up xx

speake1 · 27/04/2022 16:35

@Cruz86 amazing news, congratulations! 😁 xxx

Annny27 · 27/04/2022 16:49

That's a lovely pic @Cruz86 my 12 week one was awful quality haha (maybe because I have retroverted uterus!)

sunnyd67 · 27/04/2022 16:57

Ladies that are over 12 weeks, did your cramps settle down after 11/12 weeks? Or did they stay?

flowergarden16 · 27/04/2022 16:58

Awww congrats @Cruz86 Flowers

Annny27 · 27/04/2022 17:13

@sunnyd67 my cramps settled about 9 weeks but I do still have small niggles, mostly stitch like pain now as opposed to cramping

scoutcat · 27/04/2022 17:25

Congratulations @Cruz86! What a lovely scan picture.

@arianasky so sorry you've got it again but I'm glad you've got antibiotics again. How funny that they recommended Lucozade. I thought that's what 90s parents gave their children 😂

Norberta · 27/04/2022 17:30

Congrats @Cruz86 amazing how developed they are at 12 weeks just incredible!

SupportNeed · 27/04/2022 17:32

Arwen7 · 27/04/2022 19:13

Hello everyone,

I hope you don’t mind me joining in!
I am 10+1 today after x 1 ectopic in 2016 and 3 mc last year. I am seeing a private Dr and on medication for this one and have had good scans at 6, 7 and 9 weeks (next one the coming Wednesday at 11 weeks!). Even then I am an absolute bag of nerves at times and haven’t really allowed myself to get excited.
I kmow many of you share the same feelings and I am grateful for this forum as only someone who has gone through it can truly understand. Sending lots of love to everyone x

SupportNeed · 27/04/2022 19:20

@Arwen7 I’ve found this to be such a great support X

sunnyd67 · 27/04/2022 19:24

@Arwen7 Welcome. ❤️
I have had scans at 7, 9, 11 and 12. Just booked a private one for 14 weeks. The worry and anxiety is not shifting, and it becomes worse as scan day approaches. So you are definitely not alone.

Bridgey8 · 27/04/2022 20:32

Wahoooo @Cruz86!

Finally got my 20 week scan letter..... Friday 13th 😳

Skl2021 · 27/04/2022 20:45

@Bridgey8 they left that late! I got mine at my 12 week scan. Not long to go now! Mines on the 17th! Oooo are you superstitious? I'm sure there's nothing to worry about 💕 xx

arianasky · 27/04/2022 21:04

@calimc83 thank you lovely

@scoutcat I know 😂 I used to always have a bottle of lucozade if I was off sick as a child in the glass bottles 😂 I think because the sport ones are isotonic and there's electrolytes in them and I'm needing a boost of those to hydrate me apparently

@Skl2021 haha thank you 💕

@Arwen7 welcome, it's totally normal to feel like that, I had a scan at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and am having my next one a week tomorrow at 11 weeks and I'm also petrified

Arwen7 · 27/04/2022 21:43

Thank you everyone! It’s so nice to see so many positive stories even though none of us would have wanted to be in this club.

@sunnyd67 I pretty much accepted I won’t be able to relax much until at least 20w. I hope I’m wrong but I think it’s just how your brain gets re-wired after a loss.

@arianasky we are having scans at about the same time! I hope time flies by this week.

Also anyone started feeling better at 10w? I suddenly felt much better today when I had pretty bad nausea and exhaustion last week and previous weeks. I know the placenta can start taking over at around this time but one of my mc was missed so I’m a bit worried.

Annny27 · 27/04/2022 21:57

@Arwen7 I started feeling better around week 10 (then felt worse again end of week 11....) but I was also worried at the time!

Yep I also had a mmc and it made the first trimester terrifying analysing symptoms

Srx1 · 27/04/2022 22:34

@SupportNeed I can’t tell if it’s a start of the bump or just my normal belly but I agree it seems more like a bump in the evening!

Lovely scan @Cruz86 👏

Hi @Arwen7 - my nausea stopped at 10
weeks, I am 12 weeks tomorrow and have a scan in 10days

SupportNeed · 28/04/2022 05:45

Scan day!

I’ve just given my partner an advanced warning that although I’m really excited, I may feel nervous later, after what happened at our first dating scan. It’s so sad that our joy has to be taken with a heap of reality X

Arwen7 · 28/04/2022 05:56

@Srx1 @Annny27 that is so reassuring thank you!

@SupportNeed best of luck with the scan I’m sure all is well and so great 12 weeks! but yes I dread every single scan on the day even though I live for them 😫
