@mrshodgy21 Yay! Lovely news! 💙🍾

flowergarden16 · 07/05/2022 20:03

Ladies has anyone else had like mild cramps around week 11/12? I have a lot of stretching feeling not pain so much just pressure and feeling of pushing on my bladder had to take some para. Makes me worried x

Tulip1112 · 07/05/2022 20:10

@mrshodgy21 congratulations!! So thrilled for you 💙🥰

sunnyd67 · 08/05/2022 02:58

Just a 3am thought 😂 can't sleep.
Have you announced your pregnancies yet? I'm 14 weeks, my boss knows due to it being an IVF pregnancy and I needed time off, and my best friends knows and the only reasons she knows is because she told me she is pregnant so I told her so am I 😃 but she also knows our history of infertility and recurrent miscarriages. But no one else. I've decided to finally tell my mum today as we celebrate Mother's Day today. But I'm not thrilled to tell her, I don't know why, I feel like I want to live in my 'no one knows' bubble for ever, I have never been this pregnant in my life so surely this is our take home baby but I just can't quite believe it..

Annny27 · 08/05/2022 08:23

@sunnyd67 I am totally the same we have only told 5 or 6 people. Not sure why haha. Maybe I am the same, wanting to keep it in the bubble

Bridgey8 · 08/05/2022 08:55

Congrats @mrshodgy21!

💙💙💙

Bridgey8 · 08/05/2022 08:56

@sunnyd67 I've told most people I care about now.... but to be honest this bump is pretty obvious now! Just do what feels right for you. I remember wanting to be in that bubble too xxx

Artisticpiglet3 · 08/05/2022 09:17

My scans Thursday and the closer it gets the more I genuinely feel like I can't go. I don't think I can bring myself to go and potentially hear bad news again. Like if I've had another MMC and I don't find out I can just live in a bubble. I know if everything's fine I'll massively calm down but I genuinely don't know how I'm going to go in there

Skl2021 · 08/05/2022 09:57

@sunnyd67 we have only told parents and brothers/sisters. We are not announcing until after our 20 week scan just want to make sure everything is ok before we do. Do what feels best for you xx

Skl2021 · 08/05/2022 10:00

@Artisticpiglet3 I think it's normal after what we have been through. I got major anxiety before a scan and like u even wanted to walk out when I got there. I brake down in tears when I'm in there and explained to the sonographer what had happened and I chose to have the screen off until she found a heartbeat or asked for that to be found first before we went any further. Obviously do what's best for you but I'm sure everything will be ok ❤️ xx

I'd honestly wait until 14 weeks if I could. Keep think that if anything has gone wrong before that then surely I would have started bleeding and id prefer that to finding out at the scan again

Arwen7 · 08/05/2022 19:05

I haven’t told my parents yet and only a few close friends know. I am inclined to wait until the 20w scan just to make sure everything is fine!
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday x

Arwen7 · 08/05/2022 19:06

Oh and that’s lovely @mrshodgy21 💙 I do love that photo too!

mrshodgy21 · 08/05/2022 19:35

Thank you everyone for your kind comments x

Bridgey8 · 09/05/2022 09:57

Another new week ladies! Keep ticking them off :)

barneymcgroo · 09/05/2022 10:24

@Bridgey8 Can't quite believe it! Hang on in there ladies...

aesgriff · 09/05/2022 10:28

For those on progesterone.. when and how are you stopping?! Xx

Annny27 · 09/05/2022 10:34

@aesgriff 16 weeks which is Friday for me!

I wanted to gradually reduce but I don't have enough so will just be cold turkey stop which all the consultants recommend anyway

aesgriff · 09/05/2022 10:45

@Annny27 oooh do they? I’m 16 weeks today so was going to drop down to 1 a day for a week, then 1 every other day for a week then stop altogether but not sure now… xx

Bridgey8 · 09/05/2022 10:56

@aesgriff I stopped on the completion of my 16th week. So basically got to 17 xx

speake1 · 09/05/2022 11:04

@aesgriff my consultant didn’t seem bothered by what I did & said to stop anywhere between 12-16 weeks. I reduced to 1 a day last week & going to 1 every second day this week. I’m 16 weeks today too. In reality they don’t seem to know what you should do for the best but my personal opinion is that stopping anything cold turkey can’t be good for you 🙈 xxx

aesgriff · 09/05/2022 12:35

@Bridgey8 @speake thanks ladies that’s useful to hear! xx

@speake I’m leaning towards feeling the same as you. I’m going to do one a day for this week then next week one every other as I’ve got enough for it. So I’ll be completely off of progesterone by 18 weeks. Is that too long do you think? Xx

flowergarden16 · 09/05/2022 14:13

Re: progesterone I'm glad you guys brought this up. I need to get an extra prescription as mine runs out end of next week (13 weeks) but planned to take until end of 16th week then probably stop?

So nervous about 12 week scan this week Bear

flowergarden16 · 09/05/2022 15:15

In other news just for my harmony results back and low risk. So so relieved 😌
