Good luck tomorrow @Cruz86 !

So lovely that people are progressing. Keeping everything crossed for all of us x

Cruz86 · 27/04/2022 08:47

Yes I'm also going to do a scan at 16 weeks @Prayingformyrainbow93! If today all goes well that is... I think we'll definitely still be chatting in this thread and it will slowly change from scans etc to preparing for a new baby! Hopefully we will still be on here when the babies are born too, always helps to have people to talk to who's going through the same! 🥰

The first time I did it I had to take a break and come back to it because I was starting to get nervous @calimc83, but now I find the heartbeat in less than 5 minutes. You have to know what you're listening for because it picks up your heartbeat too, but it's calmed me so much over the last week. Like I say, I won't be using it when I can feel movements because I know how dangerous that can be! Well worth it for me personally ☺️ 8 weeks is great!! You'll be 12 weeks before you know it!

Thank you @flowergarden16 😊

Xx

Good luck for today @cruz86. Seeing all of these pregnancies progress really gives me hope for mine.

At what point do I stop dreading going to the toilet? I have gotten in a bad habit of really inspecting the toilet paper after wiping, it's getting worse as I approach the time I miscarried last year.

Tulip1112 · 27/04/2022 09:26

@Tofu35 I'm with you! I don't know if it will ever stop. Unfortunately my nausea has been upgraded to morning sickness today 😭 never had it in my previous two pregnancies so maybe it's a good sign? Or maybe cyclogest is giving it a helping hand... who knows.

Good luck for scans today!! Sending hugs to all 🌈💛

arianasky · 27/04/2022 09:28

@Prayingformyrainbow93 @Skl2021 thank you both 🌈❤️

@Cruz86 good luck today lovely 💕🌈

Another water infection for me today I've been up since 2am dealing with it 🙄 just waiting for the antibiotics from the GP. I was making a hot water bottle downstairs for the pain at about 3am and thought how if everything goes ok being up at that time will be normal soon 🥰

Skl2021 · 27/04/2022 09:32

@Tofu35 I still check everytime I go to the toilet 😩 and I'm 17 weeks. Can't seem to stop doing it. X

@arianasky oh no hope u feel better soon ❤️ haven't u just had one aswell?! X

@Cruz86 are you getting excited now? X

speake1 · 27/04/2022 09:33

@Cruz86 good luck today, hope everything goes well with your dating scan 🙏🏼🤞🏼

@arianasky haha I was thinking the same when I was up at 2am glugging gaviscon & eating love hearts trying to keep the heart burn at bay 🙈 Hope you manage to get antibiotics from the gp today xxx

Hope everyone else is doing well, this new mumsnet format keeps looking me out so I can read but not comment 🤦🏻‍♀️ xxx

mrshodgy21 · 27/04/2022 09:56

@Cruz86 good luck today hunni x

Willow11981 · 27/04/2022 10:24

@Cruz86 ….. wishing you the best of luck today!!!!!

@flowergarden16 …… did you end up booking a harmony test?? I think I’m going to if I make it to 10 weeks! Im 40 so it’s a bit of a worry!
x

arianasky · 27/04/2022 10:30

@Skl2021 yeah my last antibiotic dose finished on 11 April and I had a midwife appointment that day and my urine was fine so it had cleared so only about a fortnight ago 🙄

@speake1 haha! It's a weird feeling isn't it 💕

flowergarden16 · 27/04/2022 10:35

Hi @Willow11981 yes I did it's on Wednesday. I wanted another scan anyway and I should be 10+5 then as I can't handle going in for my 12 week (which is the following Thursday) without another scan. I'm 36 so feel a little higher risk for downs etc so we want a more accurate answer than the nuchal scan so we've gone for it x

flowergarden16 · 27/04/2022 10:35

And to say @Willow11981 it is scary I agree although still v unlikely but I think better to know x

Willow11981 · 27/04/2022 10:41

@flowergarden16 …… yes I think it’s a good idea for more reassurance, I think I’m going to book one in for just over 2 weeks time when fingers crossed I’ll be 10 weeks! I keep reading things that’ because of my age the combined NHS testing might come back higher risk anyway etc so this would hopefully give me some peace of mind if it came back ok! X

flowergarden16 · 27/04/2022 11:21
