Thanks for the responses ladies. I remember when I went for my last early scan she was like you're 5 days out and then made a comment like 'oh are u sure of your dates' at the time it panicked me slightly..At that point baby had a heartbeat and I'd never experienced a loss before, but I was just thinking if she made a similar comment this time I'd probs have a meltdown 😩..I'm not sure of my exact ovulation dates either 😑 xx

Norberta · 18/04/2022 20:56

Hi @Lou2022 I was the same this weekend which prompted me to go for a scan as I was convinced something had gone wrong. Everything was fine! I think being rested helps a lot also some people just suffer less towards the end of the first trimester! I’m sure you’ll be fine xx

Willow11981 · 19/04/2022 07:55

Hi everyone,
Been lurking on this thread for a while but first time posting!
I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant following a MMC last Mar and a MC last June.
At the moment I’m struggling to see that there could be a positive outcome, mainly because I haven’t had many symptoms in any of the 3 pregnancies but this one I prob have the least and just don’t feel pregnant in any way:
I have a scan booked next Tues at EPU when I’ll be 8 weeks but I think I’m going to try book one for this Friday privately as I have the day/weekend off work whereas Tues I will be going straight to work from scan:
I guess what I’m asking is if anyones successful pregnancy has been the one with least symptoms? ….. just after a tiny bit of reassurance I guess! Xx

flowergarden16 · 19/04/2022 08:12

Hi @Willow11981

In the same boat sort of! Very few symptoms and I am on cyclogest so the ones I have I'm putting down to that.

I had very few symptoms with my son (he's 2.5) was going to spin five times a week until six months. I had a bit of tiredness but that was about it. It can be totally normal.

I am also having a scan Friday. Hoping to be 8 +5 but feeling so worried and anxious about it too. Fingers crossed for you x

Willow11981 · 19/04/2022 08:41

Thanks for your message @flowergarden16 ……. I started Cyclogest a week ago ( and have been taking aspirin since BFP), but I don’t think I'm having any real side effects from that so far.

I know lots of people don’t have symptoms and everything is ok so I’ll just have to keep everything crossed. I’m 40 and it’s taken me 9 months to fall pregnant again after my last MC so it kind of feels like last chance saloon!

I really hope everything goes well for you on Friday at your scan!! X

flowergarden16 · 19/04/2022 08:51

Thanks @Willow11981 and you too

It's such a stressful time isn't it. Have you booked a scan?

Willow11981 · 19/04/2022 09:02

Arrgghhh it’s so stressful!

I have one booked for next Tues at EPU but I’m going to call up today and try and book one for Friday privately. It’s only a few days before but I just want to know one way or another!

X

aesgriff · 19/04/2022 09:03

Hello lovely ladies 🥰 hope you all had a relaxing (!!!) long weekend xx

scoutcat · 19/04/2022 09:32

The scan went so well! Baby has a strong heartbeat and she said everything looks great!! Measuring a week behind, so 7 weeks exactly, which does fit with my ovulation so they've pushed my 12 week scan back a week too. I feel so happy and relieved! We're looking at 5th December for a due date too - eek!!

Skl2021 · 19/04/2022 09:45

@aesgriff maybe not relaxing 🙈 but kids go back to school tomorrow 🎉 🤣 hope you had a good weekend! X

@scoutcat lovely news ❤️ so pleased for you! An early Christmas present 🎁 xx

flowergarden16 · 19/04/2022 11:01

Yay @scoutcat !!

Tulip1112 · 19/04/2022 11:07

@Willow11981 I could have literally written your post!!! So few symptoms, I have 1MMC in October and 1MC in Jan and this pregnancy is the least symptoms but I'm only 5+1 today so early days. I have an early scan at EPU next Tuesday morning and if there is a little heartbeat then they should be putting me on cyclogest 🙏 so nervous there won't be a heartbeat, and also don't know if it could be too early if there isn't or if it's bad news! I saw the implanted fetus and heartbeat with first 2 pregnancies so hope for same this time. Just so terrified and can't sleep!!

Willow11981 · 19/04/2022 11:48

@Tulip1112….. ah sorry to hear you are in the same boar as me, it’s such an awful anxious time!
I’ve never had a good scan, I saw a heartbeat with the MMC but was measuring 2 weeks behind so I knew it wasn’t going to end well!
That’s why I’m struggling to get my head around the possibility of a positive scan! ….. I guess I will know one way or a other in a few days!!
I’ll keep everything crossed for you for next week that you have a good scan and get to see a heartbeat!!
Fingers crossed for us both!! X

Tulip1112 · 19/04/2022 11:53

@Willow11981 exactly the same with my 2!! Heartbeat but measuring 10 then 12 days behind. Just hoping that baby aspirin and hopefully cyclogest will be something different to try! Fingers crossed my lovely!! 💛🥰🌈 x x x

Srx1 · 19/04/2022 12:06

Hi all, posting for the first time and I have similar concerns as some of you and I need to talk to someone…I had a MC last summer, now I am 10+5. I had a scan at 8 weeks and everything was good, saw the heartbeat. I had all day nausea and breast soreness from just before week 6 and then nausea kinda reduced just before 10th week, my breasts are still bigger but hurt less and mostly during the night. I occasionally have light twinges in my lower belly. Since nausea stopped and I have been feeling more normal, I have been terrified that something is wrong and my scan is in 3 weeks- I don’t know how to stay sane until then… 😑

Cruz86 · 19/04/2022 13:53

Hi ladies, how are you all? Hope you had a lovely weekend. I've had 5 days of being non stop and I'm really feeling it now. I've got a constant dull ache across my pelvis and round my back. It's worrying me slightly as I haven't had it this bad before. I also find out what primary school my son has got into so that's another bit of anxiety for the day!

I've also got a bit of funny discharge at the moment so I'm being swabbed today. TMI but it's like a bright yellow/green tinged colour. But I don't have any other symptoms such as itching/burning. Very strange!

Anyway...

@Bridgey8 I wish my dreams were as good as yours!! I'm literally not dreaming (or remembering them) at all at the moment. Glad all was okay at triage and hope you had a lovely few days away!

@Norberta great news about your scan! 🌈

@calimc83 my first two scans were on track with my ovulation dates, then by 9+3 I ended up measuring in line with lmp! Got my 12 week scan next week so will see where I'm dated and if it's changed at all.

Hello to all the newbies here! It is a really stressful time but we've got a great support group here ☺️

Congratulations @scoutcat! How bloody exciting 🥰

@Cruz86 hope your little one gets the school he wants 🤞 must be the day for aches and pains Im having a stabbing pain right down low in my stomach and it's worrying me 🤦 never had it before. Always something to worry about! Knicker checking Is in full force 🙈 xx

Cruz86 · 19/04/2022 14:27

Thank you @Skl2021! The wait is unbearable 😩 Ah sorry you've got weird pains too. I keep checking as well, feels really heavy and I just keep thinking that there's going to be an almighty bleed. How are you apart from that? Xx

OP posts:
Skl2021 · 19/04/2022 14:31

@Cruz86 how long do you have to wait? I thought it got sent in the morning? Yes mine feels the same but then every so often it feels like a stabbing sensation in the same spot. Making me panic 😣 I'm doing ok thanks trying to keep ontop of my anxiety. It's creeping up as I get closer to my scan I'm petrified for it incase something has gone wrong. You would think it gets easier but it doesn't 😔 xx

Bridgey8 · 19/04/2022 17:55

@Cruz86 it might be your vitamins? They can make my wee and discharge a bit more yellow!

Annny27 · 19/04/2022 18:02

@cruz86 I had/have the same green tinge and no infection for me. Said its due to increase progesterine / pregnancy vitamins as it makes me pee bright yellow too like @Bridgey8 says

sunnyd67 · 19/04/2022 18:29

Having a mini panick attack. I run out of progesterone pessaries on Friday, my IVF clinic only prescribed 12 weeks worth. However, having done my research with Tommy's, prism studies, NICE guidelines, it states 16 weeks, I've had 4 previous losses. Where am I meant to get pessaries because my GP has just refused to prescribe them as I was funding my IVF cycle privately? 😭😭😭

aesgriff · 19/04/2022 18:39

@Skl2021 haha deffo not relaxing for me I was stressing the whole way through!! People are starting to guess now and it’s making me feel like there is so much pressure on it.

@Cruz86 I’ve also had yellowy discharge. I had a swab completed last week but still waiting for the results xx

I am freaking a bit ladies.. I had two mouthfuls of ‘komboucha’ and 2 hours later I was throwing up with 💩 too.. googled and it’s scary. Says it’s unpasteurised so I am FREAKING!!! Any experiences?! Xx

Annny27 · 19/04/2022 18:47

Have you had any bleeding this pregnancy @sunnyd67?

Because 16 weeks is only for if you have had bleeding. Otherwise the ivf 12 will be fine

sunnyd67 · 19/04/2022 18:51

@Annny27 Yes, I had some brown discharge week 7 - 8
