@lexber glad to hear you're finally getting a chance to rest up, definitely make the most of it every chance you get.

@Minster2012 aww thats sweet that he's so impatient for baby to come out. I've distracted mine by telling him that easter is the next big event before baby so he's focusing on counting down to Easter first 😂 Hope you get your section date, they told me today I'd get mine around my 34 week appointment.

Glad to hear baby was happy on the monitor @feliznavidad2, not so good on the injections but at least it's just for 10days, fingers crossed your symptoms don't develop bad....keep up those pelvic floor exercises just incase 😂

Well my 2weekly appointments were good for that one spell they lasted, back to weekly again now 🙄 Nothing too major just starting to show protein in my urine now and baby's dropped from the 97th percentile to the 60th (tho we all know how unreliable they are!). Baby is still lying horizontally with no sign of moving which is good as that's preventing some of the issues from last time, wouldn't be good if I were having a natural birth but as its a section anyways then her position is fine. Back to the hospital on Monday for repeat checks but not at panic stations yet so still doing way better than last time 🥳 (tho hospital bag will be put in the car just incase 🙈)

Vil10 · 29/03/2022 17:16

@Franklydear hopefully it's af and then you know where you stand and aren't in limbo!!

@DKDK123 the plan is to get baby things sorted before we move then we can focus on house things! Thanks lovely!

@Lexber Thankyou! You definitely need to rest, you deserve it lady!!

@Minster2012 that's my thoughts too, at least we do have the other sofa and hopefully it will be august when the new sofa arrives so baby may have only just arrived too, maybe they'll arrive on the same day, who knows😂 hope you're appointment went well and so sweet that he's so excited to meet his baby sister, I can imagine that's what we'll all be like towards the end!!

@feliznavidad2 glad to hear you're not feeling too bad! Not too good on the injections but at least it isn't for too long!! Get squeezing those vag muscles in case the cough develops😂

@DKDK123 so glad everything is still looking good, and even though they're slightly inconvenient, at least they're on it with checking baby! Is your section booked in?

Well my appointment was 25 minutes late, which I know isn't bad, but it was at a different hospital to my others as my original one and the one I plan on giving birth at didn't have any free apps, and usually my usual one are always on time, I wouldn't have been as annoyed but 4 women who came in after me actually got seen before me!! So after 20 mins I went and asked at the desk and they actually said the room was unattended so I should've been seen, when I went round the corner the sonographer and 2 others were stood around chatting? The sonographer wasn't half as welcoming/chirpy as my last ones have been, but baby actually behaved and was being very lazy for once, she got the spine straight away then sent me off for a wee and then got the heart and everything is looking good and healthy, I did ask about 5 times too "so everything looks okay" 😂 they then printed out 2 of the wrong picture and when I went back to tell them one of the women was very snotty with me, but I waited until they printed out the right one, they made out like it was my fault🤔 anyway everything looked good and here's a pic of baby with their arm over their face

Minster2012 · 29/03/2022 17:42

Am joining the weekly check team here too 🙄and in the day clinic that you just turn up & sit around in. Last week my friend was there for 5 hours! FIVE hours and travelling time wtf?? Anyway it's cos my amniotic fluid was measuring 63 and is now 21 so they are worried about a drop & want to monitor fluid & blood flow & like @DKDK123 cos the growth has dropped off too they want it checking that it's not cos of blood or fluid. So that's day clinic on every Monday, then consultant clinics on 3rd tuesdays & scans Wednesdays currently 3 weeks too 😂the parking rates are going to be extortionate 😳

No section date & seems like don't get it until after next consultant appointment in 3 weeks which will be over 35 weeks then it only gets requested then so will be a while. Ah well long as she stays happy

@feliznavidad2 welcome to the blood thinning crew 😂but it's so lovely hearing the heart beat & placenta definitely

@Vil10 awww I'm sorry the scan team were a bit rubbish but it's very good all is well with baby & I love the picture with the arm it's a full on recognisable baby & arm! It's amazing isn't it despite only being just over half way 🥰

My friend has her baby!! I'm so pleased for her, and yes I keep saying Easter first @DKDK123 😂

larrythelizard · 29/03/2022 17:45

Still feel rough but have drank lots and eaten a little today. Annoying as was just starting to feel better pregnancy wise then Covid then this sick bug!

Yay for nausea but badly timed for ofsted @BellatrixK - when is 8 weeks?

@Minster2012 aww that's cute of X wanting his sister! Hope consultant appt went well.

Oh no @feliznavidad2 hope it's mild and quick! Lovely that you got to hear baby girl on the monitor. And good that the medics are keeping tabs on you:

Great news house is going quicker than expecting @Vil10, gives you longer to sort bits out before baby arrives

Oh @Franklydear that's shit lovely 💕 also echoing @DKDK123 with the Dr not being good enough

You only feel old because you had your girls relatively young @Lexber - I'll be 36 when this one arrives and it's a pretty typical age around here for babies. Im excited for you babies are nearly here and you get to share the hard bits with OH! It'll be hard but in a whole different way (but you know this already as you're a pro!!

@DKDK123 you've got so much further than you feared so you're both doing so well. Stay out for a little longer Emily!!

It frustrates me that appts are always late @Vil10 but really pleased that baby is doing well and was cooperative today!

OP posts:
larrythelizard · 29/03/2022 17:46

Just saw your update @Minster2012 - sounds a pain in the arse but worth this last little bit of hassle to keep tabs on baby girl and keep you both healthy!

Franklydear · 29/03/2022 17:51

@DKDK123 you're my new favourite person, a wonderful advocate for the kids🥰 I'll get back to the doctor, I know you're right
@Lexber af is finally definitely here, I don't know if it was a longer cycle or the spotting in the middle was a miserable af

Franklydear · 29/03/2022 17:59

@Minster2012 good on X in a hurry to be a big brother but I feel your pain on the hospital parking, urggh
@Vil10 all falling into place now,
Final stages are always twitchy ladies, breathe

Minster2012 · 29/03/2022 18:59

I think they'll be weeks of us all going twitchy in stages cos of the clumps of similar due dates @Franklydear 😂but least we can twitch together @DKDK123 @bez91 with me after @Lexber 😜

@Franklydear I missed the bit about the doctors, sorry, AF being here is kinda a good thing but I agree you need to go back to the doctors 🥼

I'm also agreeing with @larrythelizard for @Lexber mid thirties is very usual round here (though I feel old 😂but I'm gonna blame the baby)

DH is seemingly quite worried about the drop in amniotic fluid & extra monitoring. I've tried to tell him it's all for the best but he's a bit 😬

Also, another random thing when I came home my parents were looking after X at ours having had to pick him up from his half day & as i mentioned they said about decorating his feature wall. (Currently garish flowers) By the time I had returned it had changed to "X has chosen his wallpaper" I was like errrrr should I not have been consulted in this swayed him towards a nice one. Fortunately it's ok, cars & bikes and stuff & not too babyish thank god but still AIBU for wanting to be involved in the conversation about decorating one of OUR walls and not just leave it to the toddler with grandparents saying yes that's fine???

Franklydear · 29/03/2022 19:19

@Minster2012 grandparents have to say yes to everything, it’s the law!
I’ll make an/other appointment when I come back from Spain, current nhs battle getting ds his covid vaccination, for vulnerable 5-11 is done through gps, only mine doesn’t do it, so I spent a nice lunch break on the phone with a nice man from 119 to find me a walk in that’ll accept him, so finally got it for Friday afternoon, so now I only have to take him out of school and change everyone’s work, it’s not local obviously, at least bossboy changed my hours without argument

bez91 · 29/03/2022 19:51

@Minster2012 no night for DD at grandads yet, going to arrange it for a couple of weeks time though one Saturday. She's had such a busy social life lately there hasn't really been an opportunity 😆
The concept of time for small ones at this age is so hard isn't it 😂 the due date in May has meant she's learnt the months of the year pretty fast though. We keep saying it'll be 4 to 6 weeks but we're not sure then we get all the "is it 4 hours the baby is coming in, 4 minutes? 4 seconds?" 🙈
Bugger about needing the extra appointments for you! On the parking, can you buy a pass? At our hospital you pay something like £20 and get something like 12 visits out of it so it's been worth it in the past for DDs heart appointments although they're still wavering parking charges for 'infection control' so it's timed quite nicely. I'd enquire with the hospital as it might save you a few quid! I never understand why they leave section dates until so late but seem to be the case everywhere!

@feliznavidad2 argggh no, you said it was coming. Hope you're not too bad! Glad you're feeling slightly better @larrythelizard

  • everyone seems to have it at the mo.

@Lexber it's so close it's quite scary, I had a MW app today and she knows I might be being induced, she asked me to ask the consultant if she can do a sweep at my 38 week appointment if my induction is booked in a few days after and that's only 4 weeks away 😬

At least they're keeping a close eye on you @DKDK123 like you say probably way out and they'll be on another percentile next week! How's the baby lying horizontally for you feeling? Mine has been head down for a few weeks then last night decided to hang out horizontally for a while with both head and bum poking out and it was soooo uncomfortable!

@Vil10 great news all is looking good! Don't worry about the sofas, I've decided this time round I'm staying in bed as long as possible, focusing on recovery is a must. I certainly did far too much last time

Lexber · 29/03/2022 19:54

@larrythelizard I'm Far from a pro 🤣 but thank you! I did say to OH that twins may even be easier than being a single mum to an autistic child at her worst...

The youngest (nearly 12) asked to help with my blood thinning injections and I'm stupid enough to let her (so she feels included) and tbf she listened how to do it and Altho a little quick and stingy she did good. Apparently she will do it slower tomorrow night... 🤦🏽‍♀️ but if ice sorted it out for me!

Looks like we will all be getting our dates in the next few weeks ladies!! @Minster2012 @DKDK123 it's come around very quickly!!
We were all due within weeks - my actual due date is 11.05.22 and @bez91 too.. I have a feeling there won't be that long between us all, as I don't think any of us are planned to go to 40 wks are we?

My hospital still has free parking (thankfully with how often and long I'm there now!!) due to covid, Altho when i took Oh to the bigger one in Sheffield over Xmas they're charging again!

@Minster2012 id be well pissed if my parents/inlaws did that without my consent! So you are def NOT being unreasonable

Lexber · 29/03/2022 20:00

Haha @bez91 I literally posted as you did about our free parking!

I'm under the twin clinic consultant at the minute and she was talking about seeing how "favourable" my cervix is so I have A feeling that will be Wednesday when I am 35 weeks if she is looking to induce the following week at 36 weeks...

How many weeks are we now @bez91 @Minster2012 @DKDK123 and at what term are they talking about induction/section?

The twins are currently on the 3rd and 10th centiles but other than monitoring to make sure there's no upcoming issues with placentas etc I think they're just going to be on the smaller side because I have smaller babies and also there's 2. Last weeks scan they were both approx over 4lb which is what the twin consultant said she wanted them at before delivery so 🤞🏼 next week we've had a nice little growth spurt and are closer to 5lb

InkyPaper · 29/03/2022 20:39

@Minster2012 it's good they're keeping a close eye on you at least 🤞🏻 all goes well! Can't believe your friend was there for 5 hours though!! That's madness!

@feliznavidad2 🤞🏻 that this is as bad as it gets and you feel loads better soon!

@DKDK123 I have a very stupid question - does percentile relate to how big the baby is? If so, my friend was told her baby would be absolutely massive and when he was born he was just under 6lbs 🙈 he was incredibly long though. Ultrasounds seem a bit unreliable for measurements!

@Vil10 loving the scan pics!! Sucks they were so grumpy though

@larrythelizard you've really been through it recently! Glad you're feeling a little better

Nothing much to report here. Still waiting to hear from the midwives - probably going to call the doctors tomorrow and see if they can advise what's going on. But I know they send the forms out to the midwives so they might not be able to tell me anything. But then again maybe it will take a couple of weeks for them to get in touch? I have no idea how long it's supposed to take 😂

Minster2012 · 29/03/2022 21:22

OMG @bez91 you are talking about a sweep already! Hell! That sounds very real 😂and I'm laughing at DDs hectic social life. I shall look into the parking permit thank you, and I'll try the months thing too

@Franklydear they can say yes to stuff at their own house 😂glad you got the vaccine sorted

See @Lexber is with me!! It's still my wall 😂🙄I'm just over 32 weeks & always told that they want a section as close to bang on 39 weeks as possible so looking at maybe 16th May or thereabouts? But could all change based on these scans i guess. My friend had her c section today at 37 weeks as she is pre-eclampsia risk ( which she had for her DS)

@InkyPaper it's not a stupid question about percentile, I was told (when I was told measuring big last time) that it's percentile compared to your BMI. So that it doesn't take into account the father for instance my DH is 6'6" and I'm 5'5" so you'd think a larger /bigger baby wasn't unusual, but as I'm "average" then it's down as being big. But yes the measurements can be very out for the predicted weights. You should def chase, always chase, thems is the rules 😜

Lexber · 29/03/2022 21:40

Lexber is a hormonal monster at the minute @Minster2012 🤣🤣 I don't think anyone would argue with me at the minute nor do anything without asking 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Minster2012 · 30/03/2022 07:43

I will join you on the hormonal monster vibe @Lexber totally understandable 😂

DKDK123 · 30/03/2022 08:28

@Vil10 glad to hear you can be reassured now that all is perfectly fine with baby, annoying on the hospital wait and bedside manners tho!

@Minster2012 the sit and wait clinic oh no, might as well block out your whole day 🙈 However its good they're keeping a close eye as much as its an inconvenience (at least that's what I keep telling myself too). I'm lucky tho that our hospital has free parking, sucks that you've got to pay! Tho there's never enough spaces in our car park and you can be circling for ages waiting for someone else to leave which always stresses me out.
I'm with you on the you should have been consulted on the walls before anything was said to DS! However look on the bright side, they picked it so they can put it up and that's one less job for you to do further down the line. Their heart was probably in the right place they were maybe worried with the baby's nursery being painted that DS would be feeling a bit left out so wanted to do something for him....should still have consulted you first tho!

@bez91 thr horizontal lying is extremely uncomfy. She does keep trying to go head down to engage but because of the fibroid in the way she wiggles her way back up to lie horizontal again. My stomach consorts to all sorts of weird and wonderful shapes when she's trying it, it's freaky to watch! The midwife said she's too big now that as much as she tries she won't be able to go head down because of the fibroid whereas DS got into that position quite early on but meant he was putting a lot of pressure on both the fibroid and placenta which kept making me pass blood clots and he didnt have much room to grow as he was squished so at least that's one thing I'm not having to worry about this time now so as sore as it is she can keep lying horizontally all she likes 😊

@lexber that's great that your DS wants to help out with the injections, could have a future nurse in the making!
4lbs is a great weight for twins with the chance of growing more before coming out so that must be reassuring. DS was 5lb 2 when he was born at 35weeks which felt like a good reassuring weight despite being premie so hopefully the twins can reach the 5lb mark too.
I'm 32 weeks tomorrow, current plan is section at 37 weeks but that may be brought forward if they're not happy at any of the weekly appointments.

@InkyPaper the percentile relates to the length and weight of baby and they plot it on a curved graph. In theory it should be that every time they measure baby it should remain roughly on the same percentile curve on the graph but the bigger baby gets the harder it is to get accurate measurements so it's really only a rough guide. I think its less accurate what they tell you vs what actually comes out but more helpful for them to check that baby doesn't jump too many percentiles up or down while inside you as that could indicate a problem so they monitor it more closely if it does.

Well made it 7weeks past DSs first hospital trip with this one so I'm happy. I mentioned to the midwife yesterday that she hadn't been as active as usual but I was still feeling her kicking so not overly worried. Given the drop on her growth chart the midwife wanted me to go to triage just to be checked. I waited till DH came home from work so he could watch DS for me as I really wasn't concerned so was in no hurry. Got to triage she said really sorry its going to be quite a wait as we're really busy tonight, took one look at my notes and went 'oh, thats some history isn't it' and saw me right away.....so there are some perks to complicated pregnancies 😂 Hooked me up to the monitor and baby's heart rate kept going way too high, think it was just over 180 when it's supposed to be around 140 for this stage. Even tho I felt totally fine she monitored me and my heart rate was actually so high it set of the alarm on the monitor 🙈 So they're not sure if mine was high first and effecting baby's or baby's was high first and effecting mine 🤷‍♀️ After a few hours on the monitor, baby's heart rate came back down to a normal level and all of a sudden she was back to her usual kung fu panda self kicking like mad like nothing had happened. My HR was still highish but no longer setting off alarms on the machine and as I'm back for more scans and monitoring on Monday anyways they were happy to let me go home at 11pm instead of keeping me in overnight. So that was a bit of unexpected drama last night but so glad I wasn't made to stay in overnight so she's still winning on the which child has caused me the least problems in pregnancy scale 😂

bez91 · 30/03/2022 09:52

@Lexber last time I saw the consultant they said they wouldn't let me go to 40 weeks with the excess fluid although I'm not really sure why as other people seem to 🤷‍♀️ so plan is induction at 38 weeks. They are really good weights for gestation, must be really reassuring!

@Minster2012 it seems to have really helped her learn, she doesn't know days of the week in order but 12 months of the year she does 😆 I'd have also said you should have been consulted on the decorating. Nice they want to help but still your house!

@DKDK123 that's good that it's almost impossible for it to be a problem now then, one less worry! This baby seems to keep engaging then changing their mind, the midwife had no clue where they were yesterday. It seems to be on an evening where they lie horizontal and the shapes your tummy makes are 😬
Ooh just read on about your hosp visit last night, gosh! Glad they're keeping a close eye on you but sounds like it's going to take up a lot of your time. Being on the monitor is really anxiety inducing anyway, I was on it right through labour with DD. Hoping for good news Monday and just a blip!

Franklydear · 30/03/2022 09:55

Morning ladies, af still here so it should be a good clear out, I am getting some sewing work, accidentally, bestieboy asked me to put some inside pockets in a light jacket, and he then transferred me £20!, I would have done it for free, but he insisted it was too much work ( I normally put back buttons or close the odd pocket hole for him, funny story the last time he didn’t take out some mints that fell through into the lining so now they live there, apparently I should have checked, the cheek)

paintfairy · 30/03/2022 11:56

Baby names- popular doesn't matter massively. I would rather it not be but I'd prefer a popular name that i like, over a less popular one that i didn't like as much. But finding remotely wanting we can agree on seems impossible (bar 1). And yes other people come up with bloody all sorts that are completely awful. 🙄 There's also the problem of some names already being used or too similar to family/friends, plus the people you hate issue. 🤣

@Minster2012 @Vil10 @2020mission I didn't think bump cards were a thing either. Wouldn't have occurred to DH but then yes you are right- kind of disastrous should anything go wrong and there's no child next year. 🤷‍♀️ I don't feel the need to be ahead of myself.
@Lexber countdown is here! How exciting.
@feliznavidad2 ah crap. You and me both!
@DKDK123 wow, that inspector. I think you handled it well! Surely they should realise it might upset kids? 🤦‍♀️
@Vil10 I'm glad the scan went OK. Although yeah it sounds a bit annoying! None of mine have been chirpy mind!
@minster2012 Annoying about the lack of date still. Also the weekly checks seem annoying too. Yes necessary but if you are there 5 bloody hours?! I mean, people do have other things to do? One thing I wonder is most people don't even get checks after 20 weeks which seems worrying as nothing like this would even be picked up? I'm glad I've got extra checks. Not for my issue but for picking up anything else that might arise!
@lexber @bez91 apparently free parking for nhs staff ends this month. So car parks might change from April?
@InkyPaper @DKDK123 I never understood the centile thing either. It does make me laugh how they give you all this stuff and it's never explained.

Well, I've still not had a consultant appointment letter for the appointment that should be next week. Dunno if I should ring and chase, since I don't want to go? 🤷‍♀️🤣
I've joined the covid club - DH bloody bought it in from work. Although I've only really had a sore throat (not properly sore though, just like the starts of one?) and I felt achy yesterday. I'm tired as I'm not sleeping so that's not helping. So I'm just taking it easy and waiting for it to pass.
I managed to get a free baby wrap from fb, just had to pay for postage! So that was good.

Oh and are people still watching MAFSA?! The bitchy women have come out. Literally that would do my head in. 🙄

Minster2012 · 30/03/2022 14:56

@paintfairy one name is enough! We basically only had one boys name for DS, we did have a different option but DH wasn't 100%, we did decide though if this one was a boy we would have used it. Would've been "Kit" which is a diminutive of DHs name. I would chase the consultants app, or do you have an electronic system? We have "patient records" online which are updated with appointments. Not more covid 🙄🙄🙄argh take it easy & tell your midwife. My DH thinks it's mental how "most women" only get the 20 week scan & that's it but then again all the pregnant ppl I know IRL currently have actually had other apps too for various reasons so maybe it's not most ppl?

@bez91 I will hammer the months then! Yeah he's struggling with days of the week too

@DKDK123 it's good for the extra monitoring I guess but not ideal for sitting in the hospital at night which isn't good for your heart rate though 😂

Gosh so based on @Lexber's twins, @bez91's fluid & @DKDK123's risks I think I might be out on my own a few weeks later then 😂🤪having said that I've just got my other 3 weekly scans through & one is for the 25th may which is after my DD so I'm hoping the eviction has happened by then!

The tiredness has got me today zzzzzzzzzzz but I've done jobs & got stuff from town too. Now just want to hibernate especially as it's miserable & raining

BellatrixK · 30/03/2022 16:23

@Vil10 Gorgeous scan picture. I can’t believe that they were rude to you though.

@Minster2012 100% agree on the room. It’s your house! Maybe they meant it nicely, as in to help, but definitely not al something I’d want.

@DKDK123 I’m loving that attitude towards Ofsted. Such good news about this pregnancy progressing better as well! Although, I’ve just read your heart rate update, that is a lot of drama, but glad you were seen quickly.

@Kate105 and @becarefuloutthere thank you! I thought I was done on Tuesday after I’d had 2 meetings and an observation… then I ended up taking one Inspector on a learning walk for 2 hours today. On my own. SLT didn’t even do that!

Haha @Franklydear that is cheeky! Love how grateful he seems though (cheek aside!). Hope AF isn’t too rough for you. At least you know where you’re up to now.

@paintfairy oh no. Poor you. Hope you and DH have lots of good supplies in!

Thank you all for the well wishes. Ofsted is done and my scan is a week tomorrow. Not too long to wait. Slight nauseous still, which is making me hopeful.

Vil10 · 30/03/2022 16:34

@Minster2012 it really is, that's why we chose it because I love how it's an actual real life arm!! It still baffles me that that is growing inside me🥰 annoying on the extra appointments but at least you can be reassured they're doing what they can to make sure you and baby girl stay healthy! The parking and journey is a right pain in the arse, surely they can do something, like others have said a pass maybe??

@larrythelizard definitely, and gives me chance to do things I won't want to be doing heavily pregnant, like up cycling the wardrobes that I offered to do stupidly🙄 you've really had it rough but glad you're starting to eat and drink again!

@bez91 you're right, we do have our others, I'm just being fussy and wanting everything done straight away!

@Lexber So sweet that your daughter wants to help you bless her!! Amazing news on the size of the babies also!

@InkyPaper glad I'm not at that hospital usually! Deffo chase them, from other woman on here they tend to have to chase!

@DKDK123 I just keep thinking for us a special first time moment, for them I'm 1 of probably 20 women they've seen that day and something they do all day everyday, still isn't hard to be chirpy though I suppose! Ahhh not an ideal hospital visit but so glad they saw you quickly and you didn't need to wait and that baby girl was fine after all that, she's just keeping you on your toes definitely! Also bonus you got to go home, look after yourself lady!

@paintfairy they can be miserable sods can't they!! Also I think I'll be one of those who don't get checks after 20 weeks🥴 other than midwife apps, and it does scare me a little, I mean I know I should be grateful I don't need the extra checks, but it's just like how am I supposed to know everything is okay in there?? Urgh sorry on the covid, glad you aren't feeling too rough though and bonus on the baby wrap! I'd deffo chase the appointment too!

@BellatrixK Thankyou! I was a bit pissed off with them too but I think quite a lot are like that! Glad ofsted is over and done with and not long at all for your scan!!

So a few questions ladies, I'm going to bullet point to condense:

  • on haakaa website and does anyone know which one I should get/is best?
-not sure if I've felt actual baby movement instead of just flutters today, kinda felt like a pat from inside my tummy, when did everyone's flutters change and what did it feel like? -do any of you who have your notes on the app have the report from your 20 week scan or do you get it at your next midwife app? A girl I've been speaking to who lives near me said nothing came up on her app but at her 24 week appointment the midwife discussed the scan with her and told her she had a 1 in 10,000 result, I didn't even know they gave you something like this from the 20 week scan?

@Vil10 1 in 10,0000 for what? I only have written notes but there's nothing in mine about anything. And I saw the consultant after this point also- who hasn't mentioned anything like that. Just that all was OK at the 20 week scan (but then they said that on the day).
My movements got stronger maybe at the point you are at. But only some are stronger, some are still less. I think that only become consistent around 28 weeks. Feels just like stronger flutters really? Little pulses. And some you can feel from the outside. I've not like at the haakaa so can't help on that.
@BellatrixK the next week will fly! You can do it.
@Minster2012 nothing electronic here. So I'll have to call. Yes one name is enough but I'm not sure if i want to use it just because we both think it's OK. 🤣 Might end up doing though.

@BellatrixK we can get you through a week! They def mean well, and it's a nice thing to do, but maybe I had plans to decorate it before just announcing it to a child 😂it's so weird how we kinda wish for nausea 🤪

@Vil10 yes it is good, it's just I've now got 2 appointments each week for the next 3 at least so it's a bit full on. If I were in a job where I had to take time off it would be a nightmare as just sitting around basically takes the day up. I can work mine around it thankfully but it's the shopping & cleaning stuff that will suffer 😂.

To answer your questions from me :

  • not looked at the haaka yet no idea!
  • my flutters stayed for ages but kinda went into "rolls" at around 24/25 weeks and only just changed to nudges & what I think are KICKS around 30 weeks
  • I've got my 20 week scan notes & it doesn't say anything about a chance so no idea!

@paintfairy you've got time! If nothing else comes out on top then I firmly believe children grow into their names then you can't imagine them as anyone else. Personally I don't really buy into the "we'll see what name they look like when born" but a lot of ppl do so it's a personal thing
