Hi all,

Starting thread #2 as our first is nearly full amazingly!

We also have a private Facebook group which @curlywurly3 has kindly set up. So hopefully see you there too Smile

Here's to the nausea, reassurance scans and long waits of the first trimester!

@Nikki037297

We had our gender scan and we are having a girl!! We are so excited!! We did believe it was a girl from the nub theory which was done at 13 weeks. Believed it so much I was already buying pink clothes the day after my scan lol. So I’m 15 weeks now and our gender scan confirmed we are having a baby girl. Has anyone else found out what they are having yet? Also my awful dreadful sickness has gone!! I haven’t been sick for 9 days!
Aw how lovely ! Do you have a girl already ? I know you have children from your posts. I'm 14 weeks today and having good and bad days anxiety wise. It's been such a roller coaster. Here is my 12 week scan pic, no expert but I think maybe girl ?!

Congratulations 💗 we have our 16 week gender scan on Sunday - so excited! Only difference in this pregnancy vs my son is the uncontrollable cravings for chocolate and milkshakes... Easter is definitely not helping!

Have a guess what you all think...

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 11/04/2022 21:07

@AmberRH1993 I am rubbish at these so I'm Gona just have a random guess of boy!

emmajane90 · 11/04/2022 21:16

@ploopypleepy

Has anyone else developed red blotchy pigment on their face? I constantly look like I'm blushing !!
Yes!! I have rosacea anyway and usually use a topical antibiotic cream for it, but I've been told not to use it during pregnancy. My skin is worse now than before I started treating my rosacea though.

Partners family are all boys for 3 generations so it wouldn't surprise me 💙🤣

Pinktruffle · 11/04/2022 21:36

I'm quite late on but can I join you all? I've had my scan today and I'm 13 weeks, due October 17th. This is my second, my first will be a month shy of turning 2 when new baby arrives so I will have my hands full!

Nikki037297 · 11/04/2022 21:45

@emmajane90 good luck!! We also got to see her in the 4D it looked amazing to see what is really going on in there lol

AmberRH1993 · 11/04/2022 22:38

I'm thinking boy too as I did an ramzi theory early prediction with gender pros and they guessed a boy so lets see what this week will bring 💙💗

Does the anxiety about having a miscarriage ever go away or am I just neurotic and Google too much?
12w+ 3

Measured correctly on first really early scan. Baby kept moving and in awkward positions on 11w 2d so 3 days behind which was last Tuesday. Just worried especially now I've told work etc.

I want a healthy baby more than anything.

Surreyhillsmamatobe · 12/04/2022 12:25

Hello all, I’d like to join 👋🏼 I’m 11+5 FTM and we are having a boy 💙 we discovered the sex via the Harmony Test. We are thrilled!!

I’m an older mum to be (45!) but I’ve always been fit and healthy. Until pregnancy where I’ve felt absolutely dreadful since 6 weeks. Terrible 24/7 nausea. Really thought I’d start to feel the end of first trimester bloom everyone talks about. But no, I just feel like death warmed up 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m WFH so that helps but still finding it hard to work / think. I am able to eat and drink so I’m counting my blessings (while also feeling sorry for myself). Thinking about meds now which I always said I would never do.

I hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy.

LondonladyTTC · 12/04/2022 12:40

@Surreyhillsmamatobe welcome, and very exciting thank you know you will be having a little boy!

@Pregnantpolly I feel exactly the same. I'm 12+3 today and have my 12 week scan this afternoon. I'm so nervous even though baby was fine at 10+4 and my NIPT results were also fine. We told our family after the NIPT results so now very worried about having to tell everyone if something bad happens... I keep telling myself it will be more relaxing after the next milestone but the anxiety just starts again!! So are aren't along and have my sympathies. I keep having to remind myself that the odds are very much in our favour.

Surreyhillsmamatobe · 12/04/2022 12:42

@LondonladyTTC thank you 😊

Pregnantpolly · 12/04/2022 13:04

@LondonladyTTC yeah, passing certain safe milestones poses challenges and new things to think about.

Pandabuggle · 12/04/2022 13:15

Right now I'm just hoping to test negative for covid again as my scan is next Tuesday first thing in the morning and I really don't want to have to cancel it. Will be right on the cutoff for the downs/Edwards etc. Not had any private scans and it's my other halfs first child. I don't think it's really sunk in with him just yet.

Funny story, when I showed him the pregnancy test back in February, he initially thought it was a new covid test, then realised what it was.

xMari · 13/04/2022 12:44

Afternoon ladies! Hope you’re all doing well!

Just wanted to share my 12 week scan and say baby was opening and closing its mouth. Was such a happy sight to see.
Due 23rd October only 1 day off LMP prediction (sorry we’re no longer twinning @LondonladyTTC )

LondonladyTTC · 13/04/2022 12:51

Congratulations @xMari !! Glad all went well!

PoopMaster · 13/04/2022 18:55

15 weeks and I'm sure I've started feeling the baby move...it's been a long time but I'm pretty sure it's not gas poking me in the same place over and over...wow! The part of me that is in denial about the pregnancy (think it's a coping mechanism) is quite shocked! The excited part of me is over the moon Smile

16 week appointment is next week, I'm hoping they will have a listen with the Doppler. After we got out NIPT result (clear for T21/T18/T13) it seemed like ages before we could check the baby was OK. If the baby is moving though I guess I have my answer!

Nikki037297 · 13/04/2022 19:46

Yes it will be baby moving I have been feeling movement since about 12/13 weeks and now I feel it a good few times a day I’m almost 16 weeks now baby is always measuring ahead even though I thought girls were always smaller than boys. Also my skinny jeans are getting tight around my tummy so Iv had to move into maternity leggings and longer T-shirts as I hate my bum being in show with leggings and it’s not even warm enough for leggings I hope the weather picks up very soon

WildePozy · 13/04/2022 19:59

Am I ok to join?
I’m 13+4, due October 15th. This is my second baby, I have a 2 year old son and had a MMC last year.
Had our first scan yesterday and felt so wonderful to see the little babe moving!
