@emmajane90 welcome. We are due date twins.
My morning sickness is always bad in the evening as well and morning haha but it seems to be subsiding a bit these last few days.
Love this 😅. Yeah mine seemed to be getting better and then I had quite a bad day with it on Saturday. Hoping it dies down again now!

Nikki037297 · 07/03/2022 12:31

After having a lovely 3 days of no morning sickness I was almost sick in the car this morning on the school run. Then I got home and it just started coming I ran to my kitchen and have been sick in my kitchen bin Blush there was nowhere else to go in time. Also unfortunately my bladder gave way during this whole ordeal and my new leggings are now in the washing machine!

NorfolkBird · 07/03/2022 12:48

@Nikki037297 Aww Nikki! Bless u. I've not been sick so far but I keep heavin at certain smells. Yesterday I was listening 2 80s music I kept blubbering because of how happy I am atm & I have got this gift inside me. I'm peeing more often I read thats normal. I'm going on walks because I hardly do any exercise!

1stTimeTina · 07/03/2022 13:02

The nausea is just wiping me out!!! If I sit down or stand up it takes about 10 seconds for my vision to adjust, just no good to anyone right now. Which is fun with a three year old 🙈 I got a small electric shock off the hoover last week which is a small worry in the back of my mind but hoping all is fine!
I’m hiring someone new at work and we’re selling our house so there’s just no let up right now. Just want to hibernate til second trimester! Have my booking apt this week so that’s another positive milestone at least!

NorfolkBird · 07/03/2022 13:26

@1stTimeTina Try ginger root I've heard it helps. I got a small shock from switching off the light that was when I didn't know I was pregnant. Yeah would be nice 2 hibernate until 2nd trimester but not long til we get there hang in there

Leibee87 · 07/03/2022 13:43

@Nikki037297 that happened to me last week, a full on puddle. I have bought some tena pads at the weekend but saw how thick they were this morning and was just like no can't wear them. Not to work anyway (I wear gym leggings to work)

Roll on t2 that's all I gotta say. X

viburnum · 07/03/2022 13:54

Adding myself! Been feeling absolutely awful the last few weeks, constantly sick, tired, achey - the works! It's my first pregnancy and I'm shocked how exhausting it is... just going upstairs is like climbing a mountain!

Nikki037297 · 07/03/2022 13:59

@NorfolkBird I keep getting emotional too it was worse a few weeks ago and it’s eased a little now. I have been going for little walks with my dog we went down the beach on Saturday that was lovely to get fresh air and I got an ice cream as I wasn’t feeling sick it was amazing lol.

@Leibee87 it’s awful isn’t it. When my sickness had stopped for 3 days I thought maybe I was one of the lucky ones who get rid of their sickness early but it’s back with a vengeance today but I have heard it can go like this where you get more good days than bad as the hormones level out

LindosDreams14 · 07/03/2022 14:30

Hope all is going well for you ladies and your October babies!
Having a crap time myself and just needed somewhere to let it all out. I've had 4 miscarriages before this pregnancy and also have a 5 year old son. I'm under the recurrent miscarriage clinic now due to my history and I'm currently injecting HGC twice a week to hopefully help with current pregnancy. Went for a scan at 6 weeks to be told pretty matter of fact that there's no heart beat and the fetal pole is measuring small. I cried on the bed and the consultant didn't give me any reassurance, just said to come back in 12 days and they will scan again. I wrote the pregnancy off that day but now I'm wondering if maybe dates could be a little off so it was too early to see the heartbeat? I know my period dates and sex dates are accurate but what if I ovulated slightly late or implantation took longer?
I've had no bleeding but I didn't with previous miscarriages until weeks later but my boobs are still sore? My head is mashed with it all. Hoping Friday brings unexpected news at the 2nd scan

PoopMaster · 07/03/2022 21:32

@LindosDreams14 I'm so sorry for your losses 💐 6 weeks sounds early so I will have everything crossed for you for Friday.

Dreams2727 · 08/03/2022 07:06

@LindosDreams14 - I'm so sorry to hear this. I've not had many truly sympathetic sonographers if I'm honest. On my second loss, the NHS lady was lovely, but the first loss - let's just say I'll never go back to that clinic and nearest certainly isn't always best!
Were you exactly 6 weeks? Of course it always depends on things like equipment etc, and I'm no doctor but I often read that 6 weeks exactly may be too early to see anything. I've been told numerous times, best wait for 7 weeks to definitely visualise heartbeat. The first time I saw one was 6 weeks + 3, the second time was 6 + 4/5. The first I obviously lost, which was my second loss (the first didn't have a heartbeat).
My advice would be to book a private scan if you can afford it, even leaving it 4/5 days from your last scan may be enough - did they comment on the size of the gestational sac compared to fetal pole etc?

I'm so sorry you've been through what you have and that you're going through what you are. The Early Pregnancy Unit helped me verbally and told me all about progesterone pessaries which I've been taking from about 4.5 weeks this pregnancy. I'm also on 150mg of aspirin a day as prescribed by a consultant. I'm lucky enough I could afford to see someone privately to get those prescriptions- but with your history, you'd be eligible for the progesterone as per the NICE guidelines.

I can't even begin to imagine how you feel with that number of losses. After 2 I felt totally empty, this pregnancy so far has been nothing but chronic anxiety. I'm further than I've been historically but daily I struggle to believe everything's ok. I'm 9 weeks now and still struggle to believe this is the one. So how you must feel is just incomprehensible to me. If you need anything, even just someone to talk to - shout

NorfolkBird · 08/03/2022 07:36

@LindosDreams14 I've unfortunately suffered from having 5 mcs & 1 ectopic so I thought that's it something is wrong with my body & gave up i turned 40 last year. I was given this lovely suprise & everything seems 2 be working this time I hope this helps u

NorfolkBird · 08/03/2022 10:14

My nausea hit me hard this morning 1st time being sick! Waiting for a call back from the midwife helpline i told her my past & shes going 2 see me as urgent - exciting! I'll get 2 see my lil bean just hope everything is well.

NorfolkBird · 08/03/2022 12:03

Had my 1st spout of morning sickness! I'm booked in for a scan tomorrow at 11 can't wait just pray everything is well

Hoping all is well at your scan!

I've been for my bloods done this morning, at my booking appointment the midwife couldn't get anything so I had to go to a specialist outpatients bloods clinic, thankfully she got it on the first attempt today 🙌 just got to wait for my 12 week scan on 28th now ⌚😅

NorfolkBird · 08/03/2022 15:58

@emmajane90 Thanks 😊 I hope i sleep tonight so excited!

Leibee87 · 08/03/2022 16:56

Good luck @NorfolkBird. I got a 10wk scan Saturday (private) nervous but excited too.

Ahh @emmajane90 my "12 week" isn't until the 6th April (I'll be almost 14 weeks then) seems so far away still which is glad I booked a private one.

JammieQueen · 08/03/2022 17:14

I’m going to be leaving this group I’m afraid! I went for a scan today to follow up on the scan that I had 2 weeks ago at 6w3d where they were not happy as my gestational sac had an irregular outline. When they went in today there was no longer an embryo. Just blood clots. They have listed it as an incomplete miscarriage, so I now have to decide how I want it to be managed, i.e wait to see if occurs naturally in the the next 2 weeks, take medication or have the remains of the pregnancy surgically removed😢
I’m so gutted but I knew there was a strong possibility of this one not progressing. I’m 42 next month so I was very aware of the increased risks! Hopefully I’ll get another chance sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, I wish you all a happy and healthy 7 months and hope that your Oct babies bring you lots of joy xx

NorfolkBird · 08/03/2022 18:17

@JammieQueen I'm so sorry 2 hear you're news heartbreaking I hope u have time 2 heal. Wishing u the best

I'm really sorry about your previous losses. It's hard, I've only had the one loss but it's still awful and I can't imagine that pain over and over. I went through the same with my last pregnancy which didn't progress. I had to go back about 4 times in the end being told there might be a fetal pole/there might not be. For me it ended in a mmc but it was an ivf pregnancy and I was absolutely sure about my dates, each time I went back they dated me further and further back so it was pretty clear what was going to happen. I'm sorry the sonographer wasn't very sympathetic, I had that as well. I think they're just so used to doing it day in day out sometimes some can forget that for you this is so personal and painful. I'll keep my fingers crossed your dates are slightly out and when you go back you have some good news
