@Millz123 this also happens to me 2 weeks ago I should have been 6 weeks but they couldn’t see much just the gestation sac and a yolk sac, no baby. She measured me between 5-6 weeks rather than 6. I had to go back today and now I’m measuring 8+3, it was also a private scan but they gave me the second scan for free since they couldn’t see anything first time round. How far are you?

Millz123 · 26/02/2022 15:09

@Nikki037297
Hey they measuring me around 4-5weeks I think, the tech didn't say much apart from telling me to come back in around 2 weeks.. according to when I think I conceived was around the 29th so I should be around 4 +1, but if I add the 2 weeks from my LMP I'm 6 weeks +.. I'm so confused just want to get another scan waiting is killing me.

Londonaries · 26/02/2022 15:11

@Millz123 my LMP was 13/01/22 and I think I conceived 28/01/22. What are your dates? I hope I am 6 weeks and not 5 because I really don't want a Halloween birthday 😬
I was planning on just going for the nhs dating scan but now I’m thinking maybe I should have a private one too

Millz123 · 26/02/2022 15:19

@Londonaries my LMP was exactly on those dates aswell and think I conceived on exact same dates as you.. I'm so confused after yday scan... when did you get a positive? I first tested around the 7th which came back negative then did another on the 18th which was a very faint positive, also did the digital which came back 1-2weeks.. sorry I'm not trying to scare you or anything it's just me...

NorfolkBird · 26/02/2022 15:26

I'm due the 9th x

Londonaries · 26/02/2022 15:38

@Millz123 i waited to do a test (previous month I kept testing every other day and I couldn't deal with the nerves this time) I did FRER test on 10/02/2022 and I would describe it as a strong positive, I haven’t done any more tests.
Which test did you do because some of them are more sensitive to HCG than others. I think some private clinics are a bit too cautious, my friend had a scan at a private clinic at 23 weeks last year and they told her she was going into labour and go to a hospital immediately, so she did and the nhs midwife was bewildered and told her to go home, the baby came at 40 weeks.

Hello, I’m 30th Sept too :) xx @Changednamesorry

Millz123 · 26/02/2022 15:58

@Londonaries I did the cheapie ones from b&m because I thought Mayb it would just come back negative, after that I did the CB digi test but it was around 2/3ish, I want to wait till the nhs scan but I'm so impatient especially after yday scan.. will try and book elsewhere.

StaryEyes1978 · 26/02/2022 16:18

Hey Ladies,

Pretty sure I am put now so will drop
Off the thread. I didn't want to do that without saying goodbye and good luck to you all.

I did a follow up test today and the line was v faint in comparison to the one I had on the 18th when I got my BFP. So had started to worry it might be a chemical (5w3 days today).

Now I have some pinkish bleeding and the cramps I have been having are much worse.

Feeling sad and emotional.

Best of luck everyone with the rest of your pregnancies and hopefully I will be back on MN with another BFP soon.

Xx

Diamondbabe · 26/02/2022 16:24

@Millz123 my LMP was 12th Jan. We had sex 20, 22, 24 and 25th. I got the static smiley face on the 24th of Jan.

I had a scan on Wednesday, when I was exactly 6 weeks. They did an internal and could see the heartbeat. It was too early to hear it and measure it but I could see it flickering and they confirmed it was a heartbeat. They measured me 5w and 5/6 days so still early,

It's so stressful having to wait a few weeks but by 7/8 weeks you should see if things have progressed. Hope that helps x

JammieQueen · 26/02/2022 16:29

@BH1926 Please accept my apologies. I have realised that I forgot to thank you for your well wishes in my last post! It’s so busy on here, which is a good thing, but it is hard to keep up! I hope you are keeping well also😊
@Leibee87 I’m glad you’re getting a bit of respite with the sickness, at least you’re not feeling crappy everyday. It can be very disconcerting when the symptoms come and go but at least you’re still able to remain rational about it. Me on the other hand🤪

Millz123 · 26/02/2022 16:31

Diamondbabe
Hey yes that helps thank you I only had sex 29,30th Jan and then a week after which was like 4th and 5th feb but I reckon I conceived around the 29th for sure because my periods was being weird lasted a full 2 weeks (started 13/01/22 ended 26/01/22 so I most definitely had have conceived on the 29th.. they never offered me an internal scan, only was told to come in 2weeks later fingers crossed I measure with my dates.

JammieQueen · 26/02/2022 16:31

Sorry to hear about the ladies who have tested positive for Covid @Nikki037297 @Edmarie
Hope it’s not too rough and that you both feel better soon.

JammieQueen · 26/02/2022 16:34

Sorry to hear your update @Vslightlystressy
Wishing you and yours the strength to get through this difficult time🙏 Please take care of yourself.

Nikki037297 · 26/02/2022 16:35

@StaryEyes1978 so sorry Iv been there many times before unfortunately and it’s awful to see that line then it be took away so soon.

@Millz123 from your LMP it does seam as though you would be 6 weeks by now but going from the very faint line and the CB digital 1-2 on 18th it sounds as though you may have ovulated later and be 4-5 weeks as if you did conceive on 28th a test on the 7th would have been 10dpo and should have really picked up a line by then. So it does seam like you have ovulated a bit later than expected

Nikki037297 · 26/02/2022 16:36

@JammieQueen thank you I’m feeling much better today I haven’t been sick yet and I was so hungry I ate a full meal for the first time in weeks! Ohhh it was amazing 🤩

NorfolkBird · 26/02/2022 16:43

So sorry 😞 been in you're position 5 times before sending prayers & healing you're way 💕

JammieQueen · 26/02/2022 16:53

@StaryEyes1978 I’m so sorry to hear that you might be out. I can relate being older myself, it’s terrifying as you know the risks are higher! It is also harder to take as it feels like time is against us, especially when you’ve been trying for a while. But you’ve made it this far now so have faith that it can and will happen again. Take care of yourself in the meantime x

How's everyone doing ? I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. Slight crampy feelings the last couple of days which of course put the frighteners up me ! I've got my scan tomorrow and I'm having anxiety, been the longest 4 weeks of my life and now it's here I'm scared !

Yellowdott · 26/02/2022 18:17

Going to be leaving this group sadly as had a scan today and they could only see a sac measuring 5 weeks, but I'm supposed to be 7+5.

Wishing you all a wonderful next 7/8 months.

@KelpCake haha I’m the same - I look forward to feeling morning sickness atm because it makes me actually feel pregnant. Probs will regret saying this soon lol. I just have on/off symptoms - tiredness, sore boobs, feeling sick if I’m the slightest bit hungry. I have my midwife appointment booked in now for the 8th March so it’s starting to feel a bit more real, have you got your appointment yet? I’m tempted to have an early scan but going to try and resist x

KelpCake · 26/02/2022 19:29

@Mamamoo1234 I haven't gotten any appointments yet, which I feel so awful about. I've been ringing and ringing and to make it worse I'm about to go away for a few weeks and I haven't gotten a call back yet. I'm desperate for an early scan but my OH isn't in the country right now, either...
