what do you think of the name Arabella?

Love Arabella! Very pretty, but then I love names with Bel, Belle or Bella on the end! Defo go for Arabella lol! I also like Annabel.

Arabella is pretty but very sloaney. You'd need a large house in the country, ponies and to send her to boarding school.

If your husband is Italian there are lots of gorgeous names to choose from. I love Maria Novella or Artemisia...

mm im really loving this name, just asked dh and he loves it said his nonna would be very pleased.
i even like it shortend to bella

i took dc3 to the hospital once - the secretary looked at his admission letter and said to me ' good lord he has a lot to live up to' i laughed!

Like it! Arabella doesn't sound too posh to me, possibly because I speak Italian, so it sounds more Italian than sloaney. Yes, devonsmummy, 'bella' means beautiful, and is a lovely shortened version.

Hmm a nice middle name... Maybe something with only one syllable as Arabella is quite long.
