Well, it woke me up actually at 4:30am.
Had more intense period type pain every 30 mins till 6ish then fell asleep till 8am.
Had my last one at 8:30am.

This could be things kicking off couldn't it?

It's in my lower back, bum and lower bump (where period pain usually is)

Hello!

Ahhh you're all so lovely Grin thank you so much.

We are doing OK, on day 2 and my milk has just come in so I'm cluster feeding tonight.
He'd absolutely conked atm but that only lasts about 30 mins before he's up again.

I'm OK to just cuddle with him aren't I? I'm not tierd. I'm awake reading and tempted to stick Netflix on

He had abit of a problem coming out (I won't gross you out) and I've damaged my Coccyx so struggle to move, which is why I'm asking about the cuddling.

OP, you might find it more comfortable to lay on your side rather than sitting of your tailbone is sore.

Neverwrestlewithapig · 29/12/2021 16:06

Congratulations!
One of mine damaged my coccyx so I know that pain. Ouch! Try sitting on a circular cushion - one of those travel neck pillows can work too.

PollyBlue6 · 29/12/2021 16:49

I've been on my side when feeding through one boob but struggling with the other boob.
So what I've done today is feed from the right/easy boob and expressed from the left/difficult boob. Would that be OK?
Managed a whole 1oz!

I'm going to try again later.

Oh you poor thing! I damaged my coccyx very badly when my first child was dragged out with forceps. Recovery took a long time - please please self refer to physio now if you are able to. It took me ages to get physio sorted because I missed the self referral window, and that really did me no favours at all.

It will get better, but it’s incredibly painful! Flowers

ImAnOmelette · 29/12/2021 18:55

Try your best to feed from both sides. I had problems with one side due to a small cut and ended up with uneven breasts for quite a while afterwards. DS2 always had a preferred side afterwards. It's not the end of the world but expressing doesn't give the same stimulation as feeding a baby.

rosydreams · 29/12/2021 21:06

although its uncomfortable trying to feed from the breast your having trouble it will help you work out a feeding position that works for that boob.Feed and express from the breast your having trouble with. You need to make sure it fully empty's or you may get problems. You maybe having trouble with that breast because you have not found a comfortable position for it yet. What position works for one breast may not work for the other
