Well, it woke me up actually at 4:30am.
Had more intense period type pain every 30 mins till 6ish then fell asleep till 8am.
Had my last one at 8:30am.

This could be things kicking off couldn't it?

It's in my lower back, bum and lower bump (where period pain usually is)

Think I've had my show this morning or atleast some of it.

Awwww it might be a Christmas day baby then. What a lovely present 😊xx

CornishTiger · 25/12/2021 09:25

I think a Christmas baby will arrive late tonight or tomorrow. Keep busy and moving.

Christmas babies are special either on the day or just before or after. We have several in my family including my own child.

Baby is definitely getting ready to check out of his current home, but as it’s a 3rd they don’t always play by the rules. Best to kick back and forget about it (yeah, right!) and see what happens. I’d consider a (small) glass of Christmas bubbles tbh, for me that slightly merry, relaxed and happy feeling helps Labour along. Good luck! It sounds like he’s on his way…

PollyBlue6 · 25/12/2021 10:02

A little glass of bubbles help with labour? well I never knew that! That is Good news! Grin

I'm more than happy with tonight or early hours of the morning. My girls have opened their presents and the Turkey is in the oven.

Inlaws will be on the way shortly, luckily they are looking after the girls and only 10 minutes from the hospital.

Will keep you updated and I hope you all have an amazing Christmas Wine

I’m not medically qualified, but I do know a bunch of medics personally who swear by this (doesn’t need to be bubbles). And logically, if your blood alcohol stays low, risk to baby is low. You’re looking to get into that happy oxytocin filled sweet spot to bring on Labour.

PollyBlue6 · 25/12/2021 11:07

Just told FIL and he's bringing a bottle of fizz Grin
I knew he'd have my back!

Ok - go easy. Maybe a Buck’s Fizz even. Baby is cooked (and my midwife always said that a glass of fizz on a special occasion was ok anyway). Pethidine crosses the placenta, as do other drugs used in Labour. But enjoy!!

How exciting. I will checking this all day. Good luck ❤️

clarepetal · 25/12/2021 11:12

Woopwoop

PollyBlue6 · 25/12/2021 12:13

Definitely not having it on it's own, I will probably only need to sniff it Grin
Having a non alcoholic Gin untill I know it's really kicking off.

Husband is happy the Turkey is cooked so atleast we can have Turkey sarnies at the hospital!

Soontobe60 · 25/12/2021 22:47

Marcipex · 25/12/2021 22:57

Oooh lovely festive baby 🎄

Bimblesalong · 25/12/2021 23:02

All the best, OP!

PollyBlue6 · 25/12/2021 23:08

Having my glass of fizz (with lemonade!)

Watching a film downstairs, not horrendous yet. They are really sporadic, 12,14,7, minutes they range from and last over 1 minute, sometimes 2.

Is it 4 minutes apart I need to start thinking about going in?
