Well, it woke me up actually at 4:30am.
Had more intense period type pain every 30 mins till 6ish then fell asleep till 8am.
Had my last one at 8:30am.

This could be things kicking off couldn't it?

It's in my lower back, bum and lower bump (where period pain usually is)

Ahhh we need an update!

QuiltedHippo · 23/12/2021 15:55

Exciting! Good luck to you, how wonderful to get a baby for Christmas

PollyBlue6 · 23/12/2021 16:25

Still no baby but having lots of period pain still. The pains come and go throughout the day but there's always that very mild pain that's there.

My body likes to really drag these things out so I wasn't expecting a baby this early Grin

We have been on a walk and ive been cleaning and sorting things. Finished my hospital bag and the last bits for Christmas eve.

Sitting down makes the pain worse so I don't know if that's halting things or not so trying to keep on my feet!

Also lots of tightening, discharge, pressure down there and in my bum.
Sharp pains occasionally too.

Try walking up and down stairs. Gravity is your friend right now. Dancing to Sister Sledge helped my last baby along, anything where you can bend your knees and move your hips.

My 2nd arrived within 90 minutes of getting to the hospital so you may yet have a new sibling for your girls tonight. Do oyu know what you're having?

PollyBlue6 · 23/12/2021 16:51

It's a Boy Xmas Grin

The girls are over the moon, they've wanted a baby brother for years (11 & 8)

Will try the stairs, luckily we live on a hill so I'm going to have a walk up and down a few times later tonight.
Just sat down and he's moving around so much, I can actually feel him from my ribs to my foof! It's all in my lower back now.

Don't be like me and wait so long before leaving for the hospital that you end up accidentally giving birth unassisted at home! (unless you are planning a home birth, obviously)

I had 24 hour labour with my second, but the contractions were so tame compared to my first, I didn't realise how far gone I was until it was time to push Blush

2bazookas · 23/12/2021 17:02

Sounds just like labour IME :-)

AndARiverBeneathYourFeet · 23/12/2021 17:11
