I was admitted last night to be induced this morning as some concerns with baby.
Had the pessary this morning which I’m now starting to get some cramps so maybe a baby here in next couple of days.

I had a bit of a meltdown at the vaginal examination this morning as it was so painful, I think they were hoping to get the foley balloon catheter in but I couldn’t tolerate it and was crying out in pain which I feel absolutely mortified about starting to think how am I going to do it if I can’t even manage an exam.

Yeah everyone always asked her if she wanted a sister and she always said no.... she wanted brothers so she could be the only girl lol
wow yes Josiah looks so cute and comfortable in his bouncer! 13 days already.....So glad you all had a lovely Christmas! Wish it could be Christmas everyday lol one day a year will have to do though....excited for the new year now 🎉

@Decadesbcun don't worry about it hun, it can be painful especially if you get a midwife with big hands 😳 lol Good luck hopefully cramps progress and you could have baby in your arms tomorrow! X

Thank you, I really thought I was ready for labour etc but I’m just a wuss. It felt like burning, like my perineum was ripping and that is sore now so now I’m worried I’m going to tear giving birth. Oh the joys of having anxiety!

The lovely midwife on shift tonight though has ran me a bath with lavender and tea tree to try and relax which has helped a bit.

@lovebeingmum9 aww bless her. That's just like my niece she wanted to be the only girl too. Luckily for her she is lol. Yes I know the 13 days has gone quick😱😱I can't believe it myself.

@Decadesbcun you're not a wuss at all. You can do it. We are made of powerful stuff when it comes down to it. Sounds like you have a lovely midwife which must help. Keep calm and breathe. Doesnt sound alot but it will help

@Decadesbcun you will amaze yourself by what you can do and the feeling of elation when it's all over and you've got baby in your arms is like no other ❤ It is scary but you can do it. Can't wait to hear your birth announcement x

I’ve been contracting every 5 mins since 0100 and had zero sleep but hopefully we’re on the move. Just waiting for a bed on the labour ward now I think but there are a few of us waiting

Hi ladies, complete forgot to share a photo of the twins! Here’s one I took this morning after we got them all dressed up ready to go home and meet their big brother ❤️ We got home around midday and have just been settling in, going to take some getting used to having 3 babies! Also yes I delivered naturally which I’m so happy about, I was hoping for a natural birth but was prepared for that to not happen as obviously any birth can result in a c-section but the chances are higher with twins yet fortunately everything went well ❤️

@PheebsJ oh gosh, they are just adorable. I love twins, something so special about them

No I was induced as placenta had stopped working and my blood pressure was getting higher
A very traumatic birth which ended up with us both in theatre

@tashx aww look at him he is so adorable. Congratulations hun. So happy for you. What was his birth weight? Is everything ok with baby and yourself? X

Don't think my body liked the induction
Had awful pains from the beginning before anything happened
Was sick everywhere you name it
I did it 😂
But in the end I was allowed to labour ward once I was 5cm
They couldn't get a good tracing of baby's heart rate so broke my waters
I went from 5cm to 10cm

My blood pressure hit the floor
And
Baby's heart rate too

So we were rushed to theatre for an emergency c section
Once in theatre for whatever reason the doctors changed their minds
And
I ended up with a very quick forceps delivery

He was 5lb 8
