@2020mission I'm still in the running for a Christmas Day baby. I'm usually excited for Christmas but terrified about going in to labour tomorrow! Totally know how you're feeling as our due dates are a day apart.

Still in the running here too for a Xmas Day baby. No real sign that anything will happen yet but you never know. Would really like to avoid him being born tomorrow but it is also my due date so anything could happen I guess. I feel like it would be such a crappy birthday for him to have!

I am booked in for a sweep on Boxing Day though so hopefully that will get things moving if he doesn’t arrive before then

I hope all of you who have had your lovely babies have a fantastic 1st Christmas with them

@2020mission bless you hun. If I'm honest with I've had some emotional days recently. I've literally cried and my partner has been a star. Keeps asking if I'm ok. I would literally break down and cry in mid convo. Yes your right I didn't have much sleep before Josiah so I'm use to it lol. Not really prepared to be honest. Haven't been able to get much this year because of having a baby.

@Decadesbcun I've got my second sweep on the 27th 🙄 don't think it'll do much.
Here's hoping that they don't land on Christmas Day 😂

@deethra yes we are over the moon. Been waiting for a while now. Now our family is completely. Do you know what your having? I bet your kids are excited. My 2 daughters are defo smitten especially my youngest daughter. She is like his body guard. Bless her

@Decadesbcun thanks hun. I'm sure I'll enjoy tomorrow. Although I'll be tired lol. Still got loads of things to do today. I'm sure something will happen soon enough for you ladies. Just don't worry so much. Relax and enjoy. Easier said then done but please do enjoy tomorrow

Aww ladies hopefully we'll all skip tomorrow for labour! @Decadesbcun I'm booked in for Boxing Day too but for an induction at 4pm (they've already tried the sweep) so I should hopefully have him maybe around the 27-28th if he doesn't come sooner 🤞 the maternity hospital here has no vending machines or food outlets available for my husband so I'm also worried with the shops all closed tomorrow that he wouldn't be able to get anything to eat if we end up in there on Christmas. He's type 1 diabetic so he really can't survive without regular meals 😬 I've packed loads of snacks for him for now.

@jadey1991 aww big hugs to you, with all those hormones and the lack of sleep I'm not surprised you've been in tears at times. I think I'll be the same when my little boy is here! Once Christmas is by and as the weeks go on it should get easier.

My two can't wait, especially my little girl. She's already adamant that she's going to help change his nappies, and pick his clothes out in the morning. I can just sit back with my feet up apparently, haha.

I had a phone call today from my mum to say my brother who still lives with her has tested positive for Covid, which means I now have no one to mind DD when I go in for my section next Thursday.
We had so many nice things planned for our first Christmas Eve in our new house and I have cried most of the day.
Thankfully he is fine and has no symptoms, he just tested cos his friend he was with during the week tested positive. So I hope he stays asymptomatic, but it has just caused me so much stress.

@deethra I also have a 10 year old boy and 8 year old girl and have just given birth to our second boy! (Well, he's actually 2 weeks tomorrow, can't believe it!) My older two are absolutely smitten with him and so good at helping out so I'm sure it will be exactly the same with your two!
Here's hoping none of you still waiting go into labour tonight or tomorrow, will be keeping everything crossed for you all!
I have some nights where Dexter won't settle all night either and it's exhausting. He had a really good night last night though and slept a lot so it gives me some hope if the occasional night goes well! Happy Christmas for tomorrow everyone x

I'm a little anxious at the age gap this time, so its amazing to hear that your two have taken to everything so well.

I have to say, I buckled and brought a newborn Christmas outfit at the start of December, I was that certain he'd be here before Christmas. I'm a little gutted it doesn't look like we'll be able to use it. But that said, I shall be keeping my legs crossed tomorrow and hoping he stays right where he is for the next 24hrs. 😄

@deethra I was a bit concerned by the age gap too, it was one of the things putting me off trying for a third but I've come to realise how lovely it is. The kids are old enough to appreciate him and help out. They absolutely adore having a baby in the house and have said multiple times that they would choose him over Christmas any day ❤ They're also the envy of all their friends at school getting a baby for Christmas 😂 I thought it would be hard going back to the beginning but knowing that he's our last I'm appreciating every moment of it too knowing how quickly it all goes!

Wanted to take one last photo of my ginormous bump as I’m getting induced tomorrow! As you can probably guess I’ve been so uncomfortable the last few weeks so looking forward to not being pregnant anymore lol and really looking forward to finally meeting my little angels 🥰
