I was told I can start whenever Jack is holding his head up properly.

He still wobbles sometimes so I won't be starting yet. But also I'm nervous as I've never done it but I think he's going to love it 🤞🏼

jadey1991 · 17/03/2022 19:53

@tashx wow that's amazing... if you feel he is ready then go for it girl... glad he like it tho... xx

Curlymam88 · 17/03/2022 21:05

So glad he enjoyed his food and you know your baby better than any health visitor.
I picked this up from tesco this week for leola to try but I've not tried her with it yet.

Hi all hope your all well! Wow I see some of your babies are starting eating already.....hope it goes well let us know how you get on 😊 the baby porridge always cost us a fortune as ours have loved it so much they wouldn't like any other or cheaper versions lol so if your trying to keep costs low start as you mean to go on 😅 Think it was you @loulou who mentioned you bought a bumbo on fb or market place? got to say thanks as I just bought one and going to try it out tomorrow! Oscar seems to have 2 bottom teeth just under the gum and constantly dribbling now so the plastic backed bibs are out early lol red nose day tomorrow so got eldest 3 having hair sprayed red in the morning and our 2 year old goes nursery so will enjoy a bit of 1 to 1 with little oscar tomorrow morning after hectic school/nursery run 😄

Curlymam88 · 18/03/2022 07:11

I think it was around 2.50.
I got some of the fruit pots aswell.
Oh that's good to know @lovebeingmum9 maybe ill introduce just the ready brekky porridge my other daughter has at some point too. Enjoy your morning with Oscar. My daughter has to take her scooter to school for red nose day today, as if I havent got enough to lig about in the mornings with baby and school bags 😆

Curlymam88 · 18/03/2022 07:12

jadey1991 · 18/03/2022 08:20

Yea it's Red Nose Day over here too. My daughter is doing to school with a red nose and a red top.. I did her hair all nice.. shame I didn't pick up any red spray... @Curlymam88 I might have. To get some of that porridge.. I'll be starting Josiah on food at 4 months so still got a few weeks left to go...
he is doing well? Dribbling a lot, his reflux hasn't bothered him at all now so I'm glad it's settled. How about the babies that did have reflux?

Curlymam88 · 18/03/2022 12:31

@tashx im like that sometimes. I keep thinking I can hear baby crying when shes not! Its horrible.

jadey1991 · 18/03/2022 13:49

@tashx aww bless your sweetie... have your tried a nice soak in bath and a spray of lavender on pillows?

OP posts:
lovebeingmum9 · 18/03/2022 19:35

@curlymam Its OK for when they 1st start out and don't eat much but it's further down the line when they go through 2 packs a week it gets costly and by then mine wouldn't change to good old ready brek! Thanks hun was a rushed morning but nice to have some alone time even though he was a bit wingey lol he cheered up after a nice bath! Haha yeah I bet your hands were full....amount of parents I see carrying scooters because kids don't want to ride them or have to carry them back home 😅 I live literally opposite our kids school so it makes life that little bit easier! Oscar is 3 months old today 💙 gone so fast! we've booked Oscars christening in the church we got married and had all our children christened in for May so hope the weather stays this nice! can't wait to get him in some rompers when it's warmer lol x

jadey1991 · 18/03/2022 22:16

Hello ladies hope you and babies are doing well. And I hope your all has a lovely weekend with the lovely weather.
Me and Josiah are doing well. I've noticed that Josiah loves having his nappy changed which is very surprising. He actually loves it when too say isit time for nappy change lol.
He is cooing and babaling a lot. So crazy how fast he has grown. He is a very happy baby. He doesn't cry as much now. He loves laying on his changing mat for some odd reason too. We got him
A play mat but prefers his changing mat. Lol.

Hi @jadey1991 funnily enough Matthew used to scream all through nappy changes but gradually stopped crying and now he is the same and smiles during the change or babbles 😅 I think it's because he can now see and recognise us during the changes whereas before he was reacting like he was under attack! Makes it so much easier doesn't it? Matthew still cries but mostly when he's overtired or has wind I don't tend to get long periods of him crying as something will usually stop it... most often it's holding him upright against me like he was in a sling and walking around the room. Nobody warned me how sore your arms get being a parent 😂 all the holding.

jadey1991 · 20/03/2022 16:47

@2020mission aww bless it's so lovely seeing them with smiles and making noises... w aww Matthew likes to be held alot does he?
I usually leave Josiah in his bouncer or changing mat and he watches coco melon, elmo or Alvin and the chipmunks

So lovely to hear little ones are showing their little personalities. Leola slept 12.20am until 8.30am this morning almost 8 hours!! She tried a bit of my banana yesterday. She was sucking away on it and the noises she was making suggested she was enjoying it. Was trying to hold the banana to bring it to her own mouth too. Was quite funny. I tried her with a few baby spoonfuls of the aptamil banana porridge this morning and she ate and enjoyed that too. Shes 15 weeks today Smile
