Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

Sorry hadn't read any the messages on here before my last post. Sorry to hear what everyone is going through! I got a 1-2 Saturday night and then yesterday 2-3 I should be about 5 weeks. But today I have noticed a little bit off pink when wiping never experienced this with my other 2 kids so really worried all while I have a 1 year old crying for me and for their dinner while at trying to make it! X

CoalCraft · 21/12/2021 16:30

@Beth262 I'm the same with symptoms - none really apart from sore boobs! Also maybe a little gassy but honestly that's not to unusual for me 🙊 I have no real nausea though and was the same last time.

Just spoke to midwife, she basically said it's too early to book me in and to call her back after my scan on the 30th as we'll know then how far along I am (assuming all's well). I found out from her how consultant referral worries though, so that's good.

Yes, the 30th seems so far away, doesn't it? 😧 Hopefully the excitement of Christmas will help the time go more quickly xx

dream109 · 21/12/2021 16:38

So sorry to those who have sad news xx

The nausea has hit hard the last two days. I'd forgotten how bad aversion is. I've not wanted to eat at all but having to force myself. Going to get myself a sickness band. Can anyone recommend one? Did they work for you?

Hannabanana2021 · 21/12/2021 17:06

Hello everyone, jumping on the thread.
Long story short I had an early miscarriage in November. I'm currently 4+1 today and had a "pregnant 1-2" clearblue on Saturday and now I'm panicking that it should be saying "2-3"
This test was "not pregnant" on Friday so it's had 3 days to increase. Because of November miscarriage the EPAU are seeing me next week. But until then I'm now beside myself that this test won't change to 2-3 😭

Hi All,

Tentatively joining..

Firstly, so sorry all those who have had bad news - sending you all big hugs ♥️♥️

Think I am around 6 weeks, app has predicted due date for 16th Aug! I still can’t believe it, slightly terrified! First baby!

Have an early scan booked for beginning of Jan as have a few events where it will be obvious so want to make sure everything is okay before we tell close friends.

How’s everyone feeling? I have no idea what to expect!

Ahh try not to worry too much. There can be so many reasons that your test can be saying 1-2, so I would just try to stay calm and think positive thoughts! Hope everything is okay x x
Pearldrops04 · 21/12/2021 17:46

@Beth262

So sorry to hear its not been successful for you this time *@Confusedmumof4maybe5* sending you virtual hugs x

@CoalCraft how are you today? Amy more blood?

@Pearldrops04 did you have any joy with the GP?

Also, welcome newbies! 🙂

Hello, yes spoke to the GP. Unfortunately he wasn't willing to prescribe me anything as he says nothing in terms of medication for anxiety/ depression etc is safe in the first trimester of pregnancy. He's recommended counselling for my anxiety. I do have private medical insurance through work so think I'll look into that tomorrow. I'm just worried about the stomach clenching, but I seemed to have stopped doing it so much now. God I sound like a right weirdo, I promise I'm a totally normal person when I'm not pregnant, lol!

My CB took 4/5 days to go up from 1-2 to 2-3 so I would wait another couple of days and do another. Also, these are notorious for giving out the wrong result and as a result women big anxiety so I really wouldn't worry x
CazWte · 21/12/2021 18:13

@plwcm yayyy!! I don't feel quite as crazy now I know your in the exact same situation! Here's to the 18 month gap club!! 🤣

Beth262 · 21/12/2021 18:28

Don't worry @Pearldrops04 pregnancy turns us all into wierdos 😂
Hopefully the private care will have something for you x

Hannabanana2021 · 22/12/2021 05:12

It changed today ☺️ I know it isn't foolproof but it's giving me some hope. Now I can enjoy Christmas and wait for my EAPU appointment next week x

Yay! Congrats!

I got my first easy@home dye stealer today at 20dpo. No idea why I’ve been so fixated on this but it’s a goal I’ve been aiming for. Guess it’s time to stop testing with them now.

I really want to try my last CB digital to see if I get my 3+ but know it’s probably still a bit early atm. I’ll probably cave and be disappointed, lol!

God this insomnia is driving me mad, I’m waking up at 5am on the dot every bloody day, it’s impossible to get back to sleep so I just get up. Which means by 10-11am each day it feels about 3-4pm. The days are draaagging!

Digby86 · 22/12/2021 07:33

@Pearldrops04 I think you and I are due on the same date. I’m exactly the same re 5am wake ups!! I have never been a morning person, so being wide awake that early is totally bizarre for me.

I’ve also been testing like a crazy person. But this morning I’ve freaked myself out! The control line is weaker but so’s the pregnant line!! I thought it would be much darker as I took the previous test 3 days ago. What do you guys think?? Am I going nuts?? Or does today’s test look like things are going in the wrong direction…?

Top test is Friday, muddle Sunday, bottom today. All FMU.

Congratulations! App says I’m 4 + 5 today and 19 DPO but I’m holding out until Friday for my CB test 😬

Trying so hard not to get totally carried away until I’ve had a scan but it’s so hard not getting excited!!

Morning @Digby86 I did a FRER on the 19th (16 DPO) and had the same very feint test line. My pregnancy line was definitely there but did get darker about an hour after the test, I’m sure yours will too.

I’m using HCG sticks every other morning and trying to do one proper test a week but it’s so easy to do a test a day.

netflixandnochill · 22/12/2021 07:43

**faint!!

plwcm · 22/12/2021 08:02

I did a CB digi this morning and got 2-3 weeks. So that gives me a clearer idea of due date/week. Might have to buy another and see roughly when it changes to 3+.

Nausea has started, woke up at almost 4am feeling very sick 😫

Definitely positive. When I did mine they had varying levels of faintness but a second line not matter how faint is still positive! If you take another in a week, it will be stronger.

Good luck! 😊

Dontsaykwen · 22/12/2021 08:46

@Digby86 I’m testing twice a day and also get slight variations depending on time of day and how much water I’ve drunk. But I think that’s expected.

Had my booster yesterday and had the worst night sleep either rolling onto my painful jab arm or my sore boobs 😂 not sure if I’m cut out for this

Hannabanana2021 · 22/12/2021 08:50

@Pearldrops04
I'm having a crap time sleeping as well 😴 I wake up tossing and turning all the time and normally head for the toilet about 5am x

surprised12 · 22/12/2021 08:52

Morning everyone!
So in last nights crazy dream I found out I was having triplets!!! I cannot imagine having three in there so let's hope that's not a dream that's going to come true!

This part of pregnancy is so scary. I'm trying so hard not to be too worried and to relax, but on the other hand I'm trying so hard not to get carried away and excited encase it doesn't work out. Roll on 12 weeks.

CoalCraft · 22/12/2021 09:03

Morning all, gotta say I'm sleeping pretty well for the most part, though I had a horrible dream last night where DD got badly hurt Sad I woke up straight away and tried to distract myself but my mind kept going back to it till I finally drifted off again. I then had a nice dream about going to a fishpond though Grin

Anyone else getting a strange taste in their mouth? Had a strong metallic taste this morning on the way in to work.

Pearldrops04 · 22/12/2021 09:08

Yay I got my 3+ today on CB. 20 DPO. Also attached my due stealers from this morning.

Now I feel a little fearful as there’s nowhere to go from here test wise so it’s kinda a case of just trusting everything to keep progressing until I can get hooked in for an early scan. I’ll be 6 weeks on New Years Day so will try and book in for an early scan the first week in Jan if poss.

Also, just to say, the dilution of my wee makes a bit difference to my tests. I’ve worked out I need an 8 hour hold for the strongest test. I really don’t think I’d have got the same results with a 4-5 hour hold throughout the day or even a 6 hour hold throughout the night, 8 hours seems to be the sweet spot for me.

Is anyone else having cramps? I’m getting cramps everyday, in the morning for about 30 seconds, around lunchtime for the same amount of time and then again about 9pm each evening. They’re intense, I swear last night I was coming on, ran to the toilet reall expecting to see blood. They feel just like strong period pains. When I told the GP yesterday he seemed a bit concerned about it as it could mean an eptopic pregnancy. However, after doing multiple google searches, and searching on here it does seem quite common in early pregnancy? So trying not to worry too much but they do give me anxiety (well, everything’s giving me anxiety atm Grin )
