@Delight12 that’s brilliant! So pleased all was well for you ❤️

firsttimemumca · 23/01/2022 17:48

has anyone had cramping without any bleeding or spotting? i woke up with a sharp pain bottom left hand side of tummy in the night, went back to sleep.. and then today i've had odd twinges/cramps on and off all day?

no bleeding or spotting at all, and haven't done so far?

firsttimemumca · 23/01/2022 17:48

@Delight12 yay! how amazing, pleased it all went okay 😍😍

beckybloomwood11 · 23/01/2022 18:18

@Glago2017 10+3 going by LMP, but I have a suspicion that I'm a bit behind that, and more like 9 weeks. How far along are you? x

Glago2017 · 23/01/2022 18:44

@beckybloomwood11 I'm also 10+3 going by LMP but think I am around 9+6ish. Let's hope the next few weeks fly in 🤞
@delight12 aww brilliant news, so exciting. X

3rdBabyDue · 23/01/2022 19:23

@Cakecakecheese

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and my sickness has gone apart from the occasional return like when I made my partner coffee earlier, the smell made me retch! I'm hoping the disappearance is because the placenta has taken over. I've still got two weeks til my dating scan, hurry up January and go away please!
@Cakecakecheese haha this made me laugh I made kids a hot choc n was like gagging on the smell…. 🙈 I’m 10 weeks 2 days. Not been sick or felt it properly now for nearly two weeks
BluePear · 23/01/2022 19:41

@firsttimemumca I had bad cramps up until about week 7. So much I was walking around the room and it would also wake me up. I think things are expanding and loosening up perhaps.

I have really weird question.. this is my 3rd pregnancy and I get these weird muscle like pop in my stomach. Seems to be if I'm laying too far back and I sit up it feels like a muscle pops and it makes me jump! My daughter witnessed me jump today (she doesn't know about the pregnancy yet) and she was wondering what on earth is wrong with me lol! Doesn't hurt at all. Anyone else experience similar ?

firsttimemumca · 23/01/2022 19:57

@BluePear this is what i'm putting it down to but today it just hasn't seemed to have budged🤞🏼

i had early scan at 7 weeks and all was well so it's not ectopic. currently 9+6 from last scan..

sorry, can't say i've had muscle pops!

on another note i was gutted earlier, spent all afternoon cooking a roast. sat down to eat it and couldn't face it! 🤢😷😭

Isonthecase · 23/01/2022 22:35

@BluePear me too, the occasional weird twinge? It feels almost like a trapped nerve but much quicker. Also third baby, I reckon everything is just all over the place in there now 😂

Ang245 · 24/01/2022 00:01

My nausea has suddenly decided to kick in now 9+3 and I need to constantly eat otherwise I'm going to feel sick. Does anyone have any tips to help with these symptoms? I have to snack during the night otherwise I can't sleep Confused

madeleine85 · 24/01/2022 00:58

@Ang245 I’m right at the same stage. Last time had hg from week 6, this time just feel queasy, definitely worst right now in week 8-9. I’m trying to stay away from medications as not feeling as awful this pregnancy. Vitamin B6 is really helping. Try to eat little/often and if you can eat things with ginger that’s good. I still can’t look at it after last pregnancy though lol. I’ve heard weeks 7-9 are the worst as hormones peak and you’re beginning to switch to the placenta. So just know it’s going to get better

Ang245 · 24/01/2022 04:11

@madeleine85 Thanks for the advice I will try taking vitamin B6 and see if that helps. I've been finding it hard to deal with the hormone changes and struggling to sleep at times. Can't wait to get to 12 weeks and hopefully my symptoms will ease.

RP90 · 24/01/2022 08:27

@Ang245 I'm like this just now. Have to constantly be eating or I feel horrible. Last pregnancy I found having melon cut up in the fridge really helpful. I've just gone back to doing it. Better than the left over Christmas chocolate I was snacking on before right ha?!

KitsuneDream · 24/01/2022 09:41

@Ang245 I feel you. :( I am 9+5 now but the nausea and vomiting plus dizziness are still there. Try the Vitamin B6 it might help you. I make ice cubes from boiled ginger and add them to my drinks. I also add ginger powder to my food. Hope you feel better soon.

Has anyone tried the motion sickness wrist bands? I was told that it helps. Haven't tried it though.

EmmJJ1991 · 24/01/2022 12:42

Hey Ladies

How are well all? Smile

I am super excited to have my 12 week scan this Wednesday but also a little nervous which I am sure is normal.

I have suffered with tiredness and nausea which seemed to ease the last few weeks but now is back worse than ever. Has anyone else experience d this?

I'm told it should ease by week 16 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Lots to get done before baby comes and I have no energy.

Anyone else got any scans soon.

Smile Just here to chat

Emma xx

Beth262 · 24/01/2022 13:39

Hey everyone

Hope you're all doing well.

Congratulations on the scan @Delight12. Lovely pictures 🙂

@Nic84 How are you feeling? I have tested positive this morning 😔

Mufflette · 24/01/2022 14:44

Lovely to see all the good news from scans coming in! I'm another one on the 9th so very much counting down...

Sorry to hear that so many people are so sick though. My nausea has mostly passed but I did have recommendations from a few people for the sickness bands who said they made things a bit more bearable for them.

Most of my symptoms have lessened at the moment, but they've all been replaced with extreme tiredness. I'm taking lunchtime naps (thankfully working from home for another month) but from around 7pm each evening I'm just unable to do anything more than go to bed and wait for the super weird dreams!

KitsuneDream · 24/01/2022 15:25

@Mufflette Good to hear that the bands seem to help. Started wearing them travel bands today. We have the same scan date! All the best on the scan! :)

I've been off work for more than a month now and I don't know if I can cope doing 12-hour nursing shifts with really bad nausea, vomiting and dizziness. Really hoping this severe morning sickness will pass soon.

BluePear · 24/01/2022 21:56

@emmajj1991 we have our 12 week scan Wednesday too! Yes I too am feeling nervous!

2022babyhope · 25/01/2022 09:31

@Mufflette will it be your 12 weeks scan on the 9th? 😊

PopGoesBang · 25/01/2022 10:31

Doesn't it seem like we've all been waiting longer than 12 weeks for scans!
ah Friday is getting super close, nerves are definitely kicking in.

Sleep is not my friend currently which isn't helping the HG. Slightly worries about the old full bladder and being sick waiting/during the scan. But I'm sure it won't be the first or last time they've dealt with something like that.

Mufflette · 25/01/2022 10:37

@2022babyhope yes, my 12 week scan. Seems like the 9th is a popular day for it on here Smile

everysunrise · 25/01/2022 11:29

Hey Everyone!
I'm 12+1 today and had our scan this morning, everything looking perfect!🥰 Due 07.08.
Where is everyone from? Is anyone else due around this date? Xx

2022babyhope · 25/01/2022 11:31

@Mufflette aah that's so exciting! We must be quite close in dates! I'm 9+3 today! Although admittedly couldn't wait for the 12 weeks so booked a private one for Saturday!

Isonthecase · 25/01/2022 12:10

@2022babyhope I'm 9+3 as well, your scan is nearly a week before mine! Thought I was doing well having it just after 12 weeks 😂
