Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

@KCat82 I was 9+3 when went fkr early scan. I have just got my letter in post my next scan is 7th feb which I’ll be 12 1/2 weeks. X

CoalCraft · 22/01/2022 13:50

@Isonthecase I don't have a date yet 😭 Really hope a letter shows up soon!

PopGoesBang · 22/01/2022 14:00

My hospital/midwives are using an online app - the apps called my chart and my appointments and any letters appear in there much quicker than they are arriving in the post.
I also get to see any test results too. I wondered if that was across the nhs?
I could see when my 12 week scan had been booked days before the letter arrived.

madeleine85 · 22/01/2022 16:19

@Isonthecase my dd isn’t till 30th aug per the dr. My10 week scan is 4th feb, I think they do one for nipt testing due to age. I’m not sure I’ll get a 12 week one with them, or if it will be with the radiologist for neck measurements etc. I think there was one around 12 weeks last time. Feels like there’s a lot coming up, but it’s tumbleweed for another 2 weeks. Excited to live vicariously through everyone else till then! Currently around 8.5-9 weeks and feeling the worst I have so far, but at least it peaks at 9 weeks normally 🙏

madeleine85 · 22/01/2022 16:21

@CoalCraft I’ve been the same. Keep getting worried about stomach pains then it turns out to be gas 🤦‍♀️

theotherfossilsister · 22/01/2022 16:40

thank you for the reassurance @PopGoesBang - day nine today and very faint line on LFT but don't know whether it counts because it came up after the fifteen minute window I think, although I might be wrong.

Had a phone call from a lovely midwife later who was so nice. I might be getting blood thinners because I have Lupus Anticoagulant Antibodies, I was scared they'd hurt the baby but I'm going to discuss it with her more Monday after next. I'm autistic so thinking of taking a friend with me for advocacy/support, although not sure will need it with her as she was far nicer than the first.

Anxiety still awful, and feeling really sick today which I hope is a good sign. Private scan booked on thursday 27th att ten weeks.

@KCat82 I think we're the same if you're 9w3?

Is there still a fb group and a list of dates?

Cakecakecheese · 22/01/2022 16:48

@theotherfossilsister blood thinners won't hurt the baby. You inject them into fat and it gets absorbed into the body stream. You can inject into the outer thigh rather than the stomach if you really don't want to inject into the stomach but you have to make sure you get the right places so it absorbs correctly.

netflixandnochill · 22/01/2022 17:08

@madeleine85 sickness peaks around 9 weeks? I really hope so! 😂 That would mean there’s light at the end of the tunnel for me! I have to say, the constant nausea has started to make me feel a bit useless.

@CoalCraft Can totally relate, am SO gassy. Mine tends to be a lot of burping though...

@theotherfossilsister My private scan c. 10 weeks is a couple of days after yours on the 29th - quite excited to see the progress from 8 weeks. There’s no fb group, yet. Maybe when we’ve had our accurate dating scan (mines 14th Feb) we can add a list of everyone’s dates or set up the fb group?

Is anyone on/going to join an app like peanut for new mums nearby? Hope everyone’s doing ok and having a good weekend so far x

theotherfossilsister · 22/01/2022 17:11

thank you @Cakecakecheese - it's called dalteparen, and the Covid, antibodies and assisted conception are all small risk factors, but the three together push me over into possibly needing it.

@netflixandnochill that's exciting, let's post about how they go. I'm really scared that mine could go badly, but want to focus on the positive possibility of a beautiful living baby.

Cakecakecheese · 22/01/2022 17:41

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and my sickness has gone apart from the occasional return like when I made my partner coffee earlier, the smell made me retch! I'm hoping the disappearance is because the placenta has taken over. I've still got two weeks til my dating scan, hurry up January and go away please!

KCat82 · 22/01/2022 18:13

Had a great day today seeing our little bean. We expected 9+3 but measuring 9+2. It was amazing, so much bigger and that was on normal scan rather than transvaginal I had at 6+4. We even saw a little kick which we didn't believe could be but apparently they start to move at 9 weeks. Incredible and so reassuring.

@theotherfossilsister always good to meet people at same stage!!!!
@3rdBabyDue that's exciting...not long now.

@netflixandnochill just saw your post yesterday. Absolutely not anyone making me feel anxious....just me and the amount of time I spend on here and Google 😊

roughmeasures · 22/01/2022 18:15

12 week scan next Saturday - by my calculations I'll be 13wks then.

Time feels like it has slowed right down!

Good luck to everyone having their scans this week Smile

KitsuneDream · 22/01/2022 19:36

@KCat82 aww that's so cute! Glad you saw your little bean active! Smile

mamaof2girls · 22/01/2022 21:09

Had such a busy day today. But the scan went amazing today measuring 9weeks 1 day like I said from the last private scan we done so looks like due date is 26th august. My 2nd was 10 days early though. But we got to see the healthy wee heart beat and everything looking more like a baby the place I went to does wee video clips and sends you so it's good to be able to look back and see the heart beat beating away and the wee arms and legs moving around! X

Glago2017 · 23/01/2022 10:07

@KCat82 @mamaof2girls so happy you had a lovely day at your scans. Mine isn't until the 9th Feb and it's dragging.
Woke up today feeling less bloated which of course puts me in anxious mode but trying to tell myself it's normal. (Easier said than done) x

Delight12 · 23/01/2022 10:37

I have my first scan today and I'm so nervous, can't shake the feeling that something is wrong please tell me I'm not alone.

Glago2017 · 23/01/2022 11:03

Good luck @Delight12. I think everyone feels the same, the anxiety of it all is horrible. I'm sure everything will go fine and u will see your little baba wriggling away then all that anxiousness will dissappear. Cant wait to hear all about it. X

Delight12 · 23/01/2022 11:23

@Glago2017 thank you I will definitely share my scan once I have it xx

SantiagoSister · 23/01/2022 11:27

Good luck for today @Delight12, I am in the same boat and feel so nervous for my first scan on Wednesday too, so I can sympathise! Hopefully everything will be fine and all our worrying will be for nothing 😊

Delight12 · 23/01/2022 11:35

@SantiagoSister fingers crossed it's horrible feeling like this, I'm sure yours will be perfectly fine too x

SantiagoSister · 23/01/2022 11:52

Thank you @Delight12, fingers crossed 🤞🏼 bet you’re counting down the hours now, the days have felt like months for me waiting for Wednesday x

Delight12 · 23/01/2022 12:59

@SantiagoSister definitely am 1 hour to go lol, hopefully the next few days fly by for you x

beckybloomwood11 · 23/01/2022 13:02

@Glago2017 my scan is the 9th too and I also feel like it's dragging!

Good luck @Delight12 for your scan today!

Glago2017 · 23/01/2022 13:26

@beckybloomwood11 I feel like I've known forever! 🤣 hopefully the next 2 ½ qeeks will fly in.
