Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

@Beth262 that is so great to see!! I had my scan yesterday measured 6+4 which I think was right based on ovulation, but then they dated me 7+1 based on period, I saw and heard the heartbeat though. I took a photo and screenshotted the scan/zoomed in very hard and I could just make out a head I think lol. It is so amazing to see yours develop over a few short weeks, gives me hope! On other news, my 2 year old ripped the photo of the sonogram off the fridge and peed on it last night (she is in the middle of being potty trained). It was a laugh out loud moment of what might come. My questionable scan (before being used as toilet paper) is attached :)

@PopGoesBang if you dont feel better, push for Ondansetron (aka Zofran). It is usually harder to get, but it really helped me when I had HG last time.

2 weeks tomorrow and I have my 12 week scan. Can't wait to see the difference from the 7 week one.

@madeleine85 I think that might be my next step. Today has been awful. Doing the school run triggered like a motion sickness feeling - and that's just a 5 minute walk.
Phoning the gp again tomorrow. Haven't been able to work the last few days, and as much as the rest is good, and I'm trying to do it as much as possible I'm not sure I can keep going with the sickness and constant nausea. I also want to check about being dehydrated, I'm pretty sure I'm not keeping in enough fluids.

According to the scan I had last week (panic booked because my symptoms had disappeared, I’m sure you can all relate!), I’m currently 10+5 and my dating scan at the hospital is next Wednesday, so I’ll be a little under 12 weeks but only by a couple of days. Has anyone else been experiencing headaches? My GOD!!! Missing doubling up on paracetamol and ibuprofen 😂

Felt abit less nauseous and my boobs aren’t as sore this week - sonographer said that might happen as the placenta takes over so fingers crossed for you ladies who are behind me! Xx

I’m the same very strange. Sickness stopped for few days now, no pain or bleeding no nothing…. Is it normal

Hi everyone

Went for my 10 week scan this morning. All still looking good and it was wiggling away so the edge taken of off my anxiety for another few days! This shows 6, 8 and 10 weeks. Booking apt finally with the midwife tomorrow.

@Beth262 then pics are amazing! I cannot believe the diff every two weeks never seen it like that before. I am 9 weeks on Saturday I sent for internal around 6 + 2 and seen everything it’s worrying not knowing without being able to see lol x

@Plates2022 glad your scan went well! Im 9+1 and for the past couple of days have had awful headaches. A quick google tells me it's quite normal at this point, but likewise missing ibuprofen!

Great to see some lovely scans coming through. You can really see a lot at 10 weeks that’s so exciting. I went last Sat for an early scan at 7+1 but they said I was barely six weeks and to go back in the 25th. They really didn’t give me any info why though and just said you are pregnant but we’ll wait to see if it’s viable. Have done loads of googling since and seems like it’s 50:50 either you ovulated late and just behind a week or things aren’t progressing and eventually you’ll lose the pregnancy. Anyway no bleeding, but also really no symptoms I almost forgot I was pregnant this week. Hopefully by the time I go back I’ll be actually 8 weeks and get a heart beat. Also got my one stop breast clinic appointment today. I guess that’s my one symptom so far a boob lump(!)
Anyway not complaining at all and sending sympathies to those with really bad sickness.

Got my hubby to buy malteesers yesterday as I'd been craving then.

I've been suffering from terrible nausea. Just peeled myself out of bed. Thought I feel sick but should eat as it takes the edge off the sickness. Thought I could eat malteesers. Looked bloody everywhere then text DH. "Oh I took them to work, sorry". I am rather miffed.

Oh @madeleine85 so lovely you got to see and hear the heartbeat. You made me laugh with your post about DD using your sonogram image as toilet paper 😆

@Plates2022 Glad your scan went well too. I'm a few days behind you at 10+3 and have had headaches on and off since the weekend. I spent most of Sunday in bed with one and the same today. Not being able to take my usual dose of paracetamol and no ibuprofen to blitz it is pants!

@3rdBabyDue Thank you. I agree, it's so hard to relax when you have no idea what's going on inside - especially when symptoms decide to take a few days off!

@DontSayKwen hopefully all will be well when you go back on the 25th. Stay away from Dr Google if you can. He never has anything good to say...

Haven't been on here much this past week, the nausea has really started to kick in now, I'm 8 weeks. Threw up for the first time last night, not nice! Feel bloody awful tbh. Got my hair being done at 17.30, highlights (though not bleach, just a toner) wondering if I'm going to be able to cope with the smell of the dye

How is everyone feeling?

@Spottybutterfly I feel miffed is a mild reaction that sort of disappointment! I've been very snappy if my DP ventures near my cheese and poppyseed twists...

I'm 8+4 and all about the headaches today. Optimistically tried a 4head stick which did precisely nothing to help.

@Beth262 Chat with work went well thank you! Told my manager and one other colleague and we're going to shift my duties around a bit. There's no requirement to let HR know at this stage which is great.

Sorry to those having severe sickness, etc. I'm so glad that mine has stuck mostly to nausea. I hope it eases for you all soon.

@Mufflette I had a headache the other day. Only thing that helped was eating a huge dinner then going to bed 🤷

Bit of a stressful couple of days here. I've had spotting pretty much throughout but it's been gradually getting more frequent and a little heavier, and it sort of reached a peak last night (though it's still a tiny amount of blood really). Not panicking as such due to experience with DC1, but obviously not thrilled. Rang the epu and am booked in for a scan on Monday.

I hope everyone’s doing ok. Had my first scan today! 😊 My app told me I was
8 weeks exactly but the scan has measured me as 8w4d. Feel SO reassured and a lot calmer.

Went straight from the scan to my nhs booking in appointment, which went really well. I’m still planning on having a harmony test at the end of Jan but now it’s more of a choice and not because I’m riddled with worry.

Still lots of nausea but no actual sick, hopefully it says that way! Sickness is a lot better than it was at 5/6 weeks. VERY emotional and hormonal - almost had a breakdown in Tesco earlier… 🙈

i've been the same the sickness/nausea but the past 2 weeks it's pretty much gone but replaced with headaches!

Hello All Can i join?? I got a BFP on 2.12.21 after a MMC in March 21. 2 weeks ago i had bleeding and awful cramps however the EPAU wouldn't see me so we paid for a private scan last Friday. During the scan we was dated 5w 5d with no heart beat, we expected to be over 6 weeks!! Thankfully we were referred to EAPU two days later and a scan showed we were measuring 6w and a heart beat was seen ☺️ Im now 7w 2d and so anxious and worried.....from 6w I had nausea, sore boobs and fatigue. However the last two days the nausea has gone, my boobs are less sore and I seem to have more energy....I'm worried it might be another MMC as loss of symptoms was a sign last time! 😫 I don't know what to do with myself my due date would be 15.08.22 i am just waiting for my 12 week scan letter

@SamBass hi Sam I feel in same bot I’m 9 weeks Monday and for past few days I’ve had no symptoms but tiredness and weeing more but I’m drinking more soooooo, have your come back yet I feel anxious about it I have scan Monday as I’m working myself up

My nausea has also seemed to ebb away this week as did my boob pain. But today I’ve felt sick all day long and my headaches are going nowhere 😩

12 week scan on Wednesday, in the morning thank god. Can’t believe I’ve managed to not tell many people until now. It’s killing me 😂

@3rdBabyDue I was exactly the same a week ago, all my symptoms disappeared and I booked a private scan - all good and baby bouncing about, legs and arms all over the place. I’m sure you’ll be absolutely fine - isn’t it funny how we hate the symptoms when we have them but the minute they go anywhere we ish they were back! How far along are you?

@Plates2022 I’ll be 9 weeks Monday. I went for a scan on 28th december and seen heartbeat and everything and that was amazing don’t get me wrong it’s just the all of a sudden symptoms stopping I had sickness thought out non stop with my two girls.

@3rdBabyDue I get you. This is my 1st pregnancy so I’ve got nothing but Google and here to go off which is sometimes not the best, I feel sometimes you only hear about the bad outcomes etc. as lovely as all the scans are, they put my mind at ease for a day or so and then I’m panicking again 😂

Hi everyone, hoping to join. I am 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow and due 28th August according to my dates. I have a 3 yr old DS already. Totally anxious right now, as just turned 40 and high BMI, also had Gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy, so just worrying about everything right now.

I’m similar to you, 41 and very overweight, so high BMI. I have a 7 year old. I was tested for GD last time, but luckily managed to skip it. Every little twinge sends me into panic at the moment. Just trying to take it day by day and not get too ahead of myself at the moment.

I did go for an early scan today, which measured me at 7+4, where my dates had me at 8+1, so pretty in line.

Hopefully we all stay on track and all the worrying will be for nothing

I completely understand your feelings its an anxious time! However my symptoms came back with a vengeance especially nausea and sickness. I have had it pretty much constant from a few days after that message until a few days ago!
Im now 10+1 and the nausea has started to ease but I'm still very fatigued! I had a private scan at 9 weeks and all was well but again I'm anxious waiting for my 12w scan on 1st Feb.
