Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

@surprised12 try not to worry, I could have written that yesterday - felt really good all day for the first time in weeks! But then this morning I was sick again. I think symptoms just really fluctuate, hoping everything is ok.

@CoalCraft I feel your pain. I already feel like I have been pregnant forever and its only just going into week 10 😆
Hope the conversation with work goes Ok.

@surprised12 As mufflette says I think symptoms do come and go. Sunday I was feeling horrendous and Monday was as fresh as a button. Yesterday was hit and miss! Try not to worry, I'm sure all is fine x

@surprised12 Try not to worry, it's normal for these things to come and go. Sometimes it's nice to feel you have something you can pinpoint as a symptom when there isn't much else happening.

10 weeks today. Just had my booking in phone call, so now officially have a midwife.
Altho still have to use the GP for my sickness and until after my scan if anything worries me.
Today I'm trying the 3rd lot of medication for nausea and sickness. Midwife assured me there are at 6 or 7 and if I have to try them all I will and hopefully something will make it better.
If the hypermesis continues, because of my age and bmi I'll have to have blood thinning injections from 28 weeks - but we'll wait and see.
Luckily the kidney issues I had when pregnant with DD have settled enough I don't have to be consultant lead this time. So that is a plus point.

@popgoesbang sympathies on the hyperemisis, I have it aswell. Have you tried cariban, I'm on it at the moment and it's taking the edge off, still nauseas but not as bad and I'm able to keep food down

@Littlebutload Ah you have my sympathies too!
I've not tried that, currently trying Cyclizine - med change over day is never a good day.
If this one doesn't help I'll go back to the GP and see if they'll try something else. They've been amazing so far. It's just so draining isn't it?

Today is my scan day so finally know what's going on with the bleeding etc! Will post and keep everyone updated when I have had it but it isn't till later tonight! X

Thank you everyone. Scan all done and see the wee baba and it's wee heart flicking away. So measuring around 7 + 5 so close to what I though! But I do have a cyst on one of my ovaries but said it's tiny! X

Thank yous. Was so reassuring so am glad I panicked booked it that's for sure. I have one booked for the 22nd that I had booked a few weeks ago already paid the deposit and in two minds where to still go for it or not. I think I do just to see if the Cyst has got any bigger before my midwife appointment on the 25th! X
