Hello,

Just found out we are pregnant after 13 months of trying - based on last period will be due august 19th.

Any others with similar time like to join to support one another?

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 15:28

Back to bleeding again after wiping! X

Spottybutterfly · 10/01/2022 15:33

I had to give a pee sample on Friday, doctors have just rang saying it showed bacteria and asked did I show any other uti symptoms. I said no so he said, ok just send a second sample.

I'm now worried I do have symptoms as a pain has started in my tummy, but on the other hand could be psycosymatic.

I can't get my next sample to the doctors untill after 5pm tomorrow.

I've read the risks of utis to the baby (online) and I'm now scared.

Hi ladies, I’ve just found this thread. I’m 7 weeks tomorrow after successful IVF so I think my due date works out around 30th August. I’ll be 41 by time bump makes an appearance, it’s caused some anxiety for us but… we want this! No horrid symptoms for me yet, just exhausted. Boob pain has settled now mostly but the itching is still on and off. Mostly when I’m in public 😂

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 16:20

I just decided to book a early scan for Wednesday don't think I can wait till next Saturday with bleeding again! X

Isonthecase · 10/01/2022 16:23

Welcome @xana99 Smile

CoalCraft · 10/01/2022 16:24

@mamaof2girls Same. It happens every 2-3 days for me. Reassuring myself though with the thought that it happened in my last pregnancy too (in fact it was worse) and DD was fine x

@Spottybutterfly That does sound scary but try not to panic. In my experience those urine tests are quite nonspecific. For example, a little while ago I had a urine sample flagged as showing signs of infection, but it was actually just that my inflammatory markers were raised due to having had a covid jab the day before. If you aren't showing any other symptoms, chances are you're fine x

@xana99 Welcome and congratulations!

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 17:39

@CoalCraft

I have 2 kids and never ever experienced it with any them so that's why am a little more worried!
I have took tests again to see if there is any change in them. But still getting 3+ and dye one is pretty strong lines. I have booked a scan for Wednesday so some reassurance but I will eaither be 8 weeks +1 or 7 weeks +6 anyone had a scan around this time? Able to tell me if yous were able to do it over the belly or did yous have to have the transvaginal? X

RP90 · 10/01/2022 18:38

@mamaof2girls we had a scan on Saturday and they managed to do it abdominally, I turned out to be just over 7 weeks so hopefully your OK. Had to have a full bladder but didn't have any problem.

Sorry your experiencing that. I had some bleeding in my first pregnancy and I know how worrying it can be. We never found out what had caused it but that didn't help my anxiety with it all!! Hopefully the week goes quickly for you.

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 18:41

@RP90 thank you for that. Yeah I don't know why but always had a fear with the tranvaginal scans don't know why and always done early scans at around 10 weeks never this early. Yeah I also have one booked to a week on Saturday but I ain't sure if I will go to that one yet or not since I have Wednesdays booked. I think I also now have worked my self up thinking there's more chance it could be twins as apparently more common in twin pregnancy and then I never had it with my other 2 kids! X

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 18:42

These are the tests from tonight so that's helped ease me a little more now! X

PopGoesBang · 10/01/2022 18:55

@mamaof2girls I had a scan at 7.5 weeks - they were able to see everything abdominally - even the little heart beat. She did then do internal just to get a super clear picture and a good check of everything.
So hopefully you'll be ok abdominally.

mamaof2girls · 10/01/2022 19:46

@PopGoesBang thank you so much for that! Hopefully will be fine! X

Nik84 · 10/01/2022 20:02

I had some pink streaks when I wiped today and I’m worrying so much 😢 I’m about 8 weeks…

firsttimemumca · 10/01/2022 20:20

we booked scan for when i was about 8+5 and they recommended transvaginal under 10 i think? At the scan they estimated i was about 7+5..

firsttimemumca · 10/01/2022 20:22

@Nik84 oh no! i know it's easier said than done but try to not to worry. hoping everything is okay for you x

firsttimemumca · 10/01/2022 20:26

so i've just been for a wee and when i wiped i noticed there was a reddish/brown streak in like mucus/discharge? i've not really had any pain or cramping and no bleeding or pain prior to this.

had an early scan saturday and they said everything was okay, could see heartbeat. we thought we were around 8+5 at scan but actually measuring around 7+5 so still early.

i have had a cold/cough the past few days and noticed a little bit of pain when coughing?

has anyone else experienced this and it's been okay?

Nik84 · 10/01/2022 20:37

Thanks @firsttimemumca, you too! I’ve been feeling a mild period type pain since just before my bfp that eased a bit a few days ago. Today I’ve had a strange burning, uncomfortable feeling in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. I’m crossing my fingers it’s all normal, but I didn’t have this with my first 2 x

firsttimemumca · 10/01/2022 21:02

fingers crossed for you @Nik84! have you heard from your midwife yet? maybe have a chat with her if you have? this is my first so i can't really offer any advice.. x

StayWeird · 11/01/2022 10:35

I've just been for a scan at the EPU as I'm still bleeding, it's varying between light spotting and heavier bleeding to fill a pad (sorry tmi) The scan dated me at 6 weeks 5 days (I thought I was 7/4) and there is no heartbeat yet so I've got to go back next week to see if things have evolved 🤞🤞🤞 It's going to be the longest week of my life 😫

They think the bleeding may be a implementation bleed, apparently sometimes this can happen with a gush and sometimes with a trickle over a longer period.

Hope you are ok @Nik84 and @firsttimemumca. Seeing blood is such a shock isn't it, but it doesn't mean the worst. Thinking of you both and keeping fingers crossed for us all x

PopGoesBang · 11/01/2022 10:50

Sending you all positive thoughts and keeping fingers crossed everything is ok.

Unsure1010 · 11/01/2022 11:07

Sending positive thoughts and energy to all those worrying today xx

firsttimemumca · 11/01/2022 11:16

@StayWeird thinking of you and sending big positive hugs to you! hope all goes okay for your next scan ♥️

it was a bit of a shock as it's the first i've seen and after scan i was like oh no!

x

CoalCraft · 12/01/2022 08:21

8 weeks today. Gosh each week seems to take so loooong whinge

Think I'm going to talk to my manager today about being pregnant, since it looks like I might be put on potentially risky projects otherwise. Feel a bit bad as I only came back from maternity in Sept, but reminding myself that it'll still be 6-7 months before I'm actually off again (hopefully).

surprised12 · 12/01/2022 10:16

My sickness has completely disappeared since yesterday and now really stressing myself out that something has gone wrong :(
