I think dehydration is making me worse and the gym this morning was a very sweaty one - don't think I've rehydrated properly which isn't helpful. There's a new heart rate monitor thing and so everyone who's got one is shown on the screen, I have been embarrassingly in the red but wonder if my RHR is higher than usual anyway thanks to the mojito baby probably growing inside me (hope to move from probably to definitely next week 🤞🏼)

@Vil10 my back is crap so I'm always asking! DH actually bought me a massage gun last year for the same reason. So he didn't have to do it. But there's nothing relaxing about that and it bloody hurts! I have however tried it on the horse. 🤭
@Lexber OHs are generally useless. Flapping isn't that useful. 🤣
@larrythelizard yes it will be higher because there's a baby. Mine has settled but in the beginning it got high just doing my normal daily jobs and I was struggling and out of breath.

As for NYE I'm not sure what we are doing. We got invited to a friends house ages ago. But I seem to have been uninvited today because I'm pregnant. 🤔🤣 Which is annoying as I'd have booked a meal out or something given its our last free NYE! 🙄 Maybe we can last minute somewhere by some miracle, but failing that it'll be a night in! With food.

@paintfairy I look fatter from the front when you can see my hips 😂

We are going to our friends house, where there will be at least 6 adults, maybe 8, friends & BIL who knows really & at least 5 kids then all trying to get some Kip too, and I'm not sure who will be running round more tbh. Not me though 😂and I WILL be bagsying our bed (most of the kids going in together for a night of hell!)

@Minster2012 tough decision to withhold your scans till after baby's born but I think you're right if you wouldn't get treatment till after baby's born no point in worrying yourself with scan results if there's nothing you could do about it regardless.

@kaylsd glad to see little peanut is doing well and the dates are tallying up better.

@minster2012 what a cute little bump you've got going on. I feel like a hippo already, I'm huge and definitely starting to feel it on my back already. Because the fibroid is more or less the same size as baby it's taking up the same room as carrying twins, I forgot with DS how quickly I got huge too but now it and all the aches and pains are all coming quickly flooding back 🙈 completely sympathise @Lexber the thought of still having months of growing left to do is terrifying!

@clolo aww another girl, girls seem to be running the baby show at the minute 🥰

Definitely in the knicker watch club too, only the consultant told me there's a very high chance this pregnancy will follow a similar pattern to DS and I was passing massive blood clots regulalry from 24 weeks so I'm both sighing a relief every time there's no blood and also a part of me is just waiting for it to happen.

Had a lovely few days away with DH, took my doppler I had from DS and we heard the heartbeat together on our anniversary which was lovely 🥰 Couldn't find it the first time tho even after an hour of trying, could hear the placenta but not the heartbeat which obviously wasn't fun, kept trying to remind myself it was still early and home dopplers aren't the best but it was hard to stay hopeful. But had something to eat and tried again half an hour later and caught the heartbeat loud and strong straight away which was a big relief. Bought baby's cot today too so it's all systems go! It might still seem very early at only 19 weeks but as I said with DS I was bleeding heavily and in and out of hospital stays from 24 weeks and we know they can make the decision at any moment from then that it's too dangerous for me and baby needs to come out no matter how premature so I want to be prepared as I can before 24weeks so I have one less thing to stress about if I get made to stay in hospital long term. DS is so excited to help his daddy build up the cot tomorrow, its so sweet how enthusiastic he is about anything to do with his little sister 🥰

@Vil10 this is DH and me too with massages but the other way round of him always asking me so I've bought all sorts😂 I bought myself a Pranamat in summer, I don't know if you've seen them but I quite rate it although I don't think they should be used in pregnancy 🤦🏼‍♀️ I would say sex after a massage is a must too 😆 NYE sounds similar to ours, we're going out for food early like 6ish with DD and my dad then coming home and probably a cosy evening - wild!
@paintfairy how does your horse like the massager? 😆

@larrythelizard go you keeping it up at the gym, hats off to you 💪🏼 I'm struggling with low blood pressure so am not doing as much as I should be. Might have to start swimming but I worry the slow Lane might be too fast for me at the moment.

@DKDK123 glad you enjoyed your break away it sounds lovely 🥰 completely understand you wanting to be prepared given your circumstances and super sweet of DS wanting to be so involved! I think the realisation is just hitting DD that she's going to have to share mummy and daddy 🙈 she's flitting between being a sweet little creep and a challenge 😆

@Minster2012 advice is to keep doing what you're doing so gym is normal for me - although having hurt my back on the 20th and not been back to the gym until yesterday that's the longest break I've had since august!

Not really told anyone what's going on, I figure I'll just do what I feel - was a bit of a let down on the running part today but I just told the ladies in my team I wasn't feeling it.

I think the important thing is to do what feels good @bez91 so don't worry about not doing much if you're not up to it!

@DKDK123 so you are bound to be bigger too then if the cyst is basically the same size as baby! And sounds really scary those clots, makes sense to get things then. Your DS sounds sooooo cute, mine is kinda being like @bez91 said, cute half the time then getting a realisation now that baby will be very important to mummy and daddy too & the Penny might be dropping on sharing us 😋

I have my 36 week one towards the end of Jan so will keep you posted on that. I've read but not tagged as I go like normal so apols for not tagging ppl who mentioned things but just on nye chat...it's the first one where I won't be going out since I was 13!! For the last 7 years I've at least gone to a house party but I won't be this year as no one is doing one and I doubt I'd be awake come midnight anyway 😂 just mentioned it to Dh and we're gonna try n book in at our local curry house to at least say we did something. Enjoy your eves, sounds like they'll be nice 😊

11.50pm sat waiting for either a callback from 111 or an ambulance for OH... he's been an absolute arsehole all day to the point I walked out at 6pm and sat in my car crying, my friend come to find me and we sat for 4 hours talking and me crying! I got home to find Ahole in a worse ahole state but struggling to function... a call to 111 and here we are!

What I'd give to sleep right now as holding my eyes open with matchsticks! But that's not happening until something is sorted for OH who is currently writhing about on the sofa holding his head with one hand and his swollen face/neck with the other..

@Lexber hope you’re ok and 111 have got back to you (or sent an ambulance)

@Minster2012 they've already put out the advert for my temp on a years contract to hopefully start Feb to give me time to train them up, then they can pick up my work and allow me to ease off and do background admin etc plus it means we have the twins early they have someone there already!

Appreciate the sympathy @DKDK123 im struggling already at 21 weeks.. I'm huge!! What I was full term with my last!!

Just home from dropping OH at hospital- ambulance called me to say they were sending one but had delays of up to 10 hours, we live 5/10 min drive so I said I'd take him to hospital to save their resources and us waiting!!

They've sent him to the red zone - they think it's covid again!! He only had it a few weeks ago at beginning of Dec, He looks awful and was a mess (still doesn't excuse the arse he's been!) I questioned if it's possible and the nurse said yes it is and it's presenting very differently- oh is type 1 diabetic so high risk anyway!!
They're not taking no chances and treating as covid unless proved otherwise. I could have waited at hospital in main bit or car but nurse told me to come home and rest (guessing I look terrible after spending half the day in tears, and being tired!) especially bring pregnant.

What a day!!

@bez91 @minster2012 DS has only had one wobble about baby and that was when he realised they'd eventually be sharing a room. He was like nope, I'm not sharing or moving my toys to make room for her things. His solution was she could sleep in the kitchen and he proceeded to go clear her a space beside the bin in the kitchen 😂 When I told him if he didn't share his room I'd just need to give her to another family instead he quickly changed his tune and ran upstairs to start moving his toys to make a space for her, bless him. But that's the only wobble he's had so far, might be completely different once she's here and the reality of sharing his parents hits home tho! 🙈

@larrythelizard hats off to you for keeping up at the gym, I'm exhausted just going for a walk these days let alone a run! My SIL managed to keep going to the gym right up until 8 months, but she went practically every day prior to getting pregnant so her body was used to that intensity.

@Lexber what a night you've had. The nurse is right, no point in you sitting in the car when you could be at home resting which you need. He's in good hands in the hospital and even if it's something minor he'll probably be stuck in there for hours anyways. Hope you managed to get at least some sleep and that DH is alright.

We've no NYE plans, I still struggle to stay awake after 8pm (9, if I really push the boat out 🤣🥳) as still wide awake between about 3am-5am every night. Think baby is definitely a night owl! So I'm not even going to attempt to stay up to bring in the new year, I'll be snoozing in my bed and will see it at my 3am wake up. I told DH he could go out if he wanted to but he's not that fussed anyways.......or maybe it was the reminder of go out if you want but you're still helping to look after an energetic DS and his 5.30-6am wake up call bouncing on you in the morning 🤣

@bez91 beautiful scan pic chick, absolutely howled at the penis looking leg thou 🤣🤣🤣 I’m all for team yellow life 💛 I’m so glad that you and your OH can have a deep breath and absorb everything in that your little bub is growing well and going to come home with you one day 🥺❤️
@minster2012 lovely little pic there sweet! I’m with you on the pear drop boobs, I just feel like someone’s got the end of my nips and put weight clamps on them as they feel that heavy! Could just do with DH walking round all day lifting them up for me for a breather 🤣

I tried in Asda and there wasn’t non there :( was going to treat myself to a bottle of Christmas Day but settled for Fanta lemon instead 🤣 absolutely love Emily in Paris I binged watched the second season in like two days! Cannot wait to see what the next one will bring in! Deffo team Alfie though ❤️ your New Year’s Eve plans sounds lovely, have the best quiet night in you can in your comfies and thinking how your next new year plans will be completely different 🥺🤰😘

So my NYE plans is to finally tell our families about our little Christmas miracle, we’re doing it as a casual drop in conversation to see if they pick up on it than an announcement🤣 we want our families involved just incase things don’t work out we’ve got that extra support network to fall back on but hopefully it won’t come to it 😘 I saw this pic on Instagram and found it quite fitting! Sounds a nice evening if not exciting @becarefuloutthere - we're in as no babysitters and a nice dinner planned although I've discovered I have to be very very slow eating otherwise it makes me feel horrendous so I'll be having the slowest wagyu burger in the world!

One wobble is good @DKDK123 😆 we have had the bedroom discussion, DD currently refers to the spare room as "my dancing room" 🙄 she's all for it being babies room but isn't grasping the fact that that means it's no longer going to be her dancing room 😆

@Minster2012 I'm always asking for massages. 🤣 The horse- I have done myself before, and tried the massage gun. But not often. He also has had some proper ones though from a massage lady, he's got another in 2 weeks!
I did send a not too happy message back, and got a very apologetic reply, so maybe it wasn't meant to quite sound how it was written. But I was not happy about it. I think we are going now. Whether I'll stay awake is another matter......

@larrythelizard I honestly don't know how you go to the gym anyway. But pregnant? Nah. 🤣 I dragged myself round the country park earlier, with the dog. Having said that I've more energy now than I did earlier on. Right at the beginning I was terrible.

I've been scaring myself still keeping up with the ivf posts. Why does no one tell you beforehand that ivf babies are likely to have issues? And so will your pregnancy? I suppose I'll find out more at my consultant appointment, following my scan. I've also still got that pain (pain? Pulling? Tightness, bruised type feeling) and I've decided I'm going to be ridiculous and go for an extra scan. The nhs one feels ages away and I'm not sure will be that pleasant. So I've booked a private one for Sunday.
DH is also really pissing me off. I might kill him. All sharp objects may have to be hidden.......

So the scan was good, the non compliant diva remained non compliant 😂
Did see lots of hair on the scan though - DD was born with lots of thick black hair so excited to see what hers is like !

So...
all is good; she is measuring perfectly
However...
she js still breech 🙃 and because I've had a c section before I wouldn't have the procedure to turn her or anything so instead of aiming for a vbac I've decided to just bring my elective c section date forwards, just got to wait for a phone call from a dr to confirm!

I'm fairly at peace with it though a little bit gutted, best get on with sorting stuff out as she may be here at 39 weeks now! 🤞🏼

@paintfairy I think I'd like to be your horse 🤔 you can have massages whilst pregnant I think some won't touch you though so it's probably best they're trained in pre natal stuff. I think DH is buying me one for my birthday next week 🥳

Uhoh @Minster2012 that's not ideal, maybe a quiet one is needed. My original plan was similar to your original plan but hadn't done anything about it then got pregnant so keeping a low profile.

I also never knew horses had massages @paintfairy but that doesn't surprise me! How long until your 12week scan? Good idea having another one. And yes you can deffo have a massage when preggers.

We saw DH's sister after Xmas and she tested positive which is annoying so we're doing regular LFTs. We're both double vaxxed+boosted so am hopeful we can avoid it, don't fancy isolation with a 2.5year old... 😬
