Bump update - excuse the mound of wrapped presents and filthy mirror 🤣🤣

I keep getting told I don't look pregnant from behind/front at the minute and Altho the bump is growing I seem to be shrinking slightly elsewhere!? 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ is it possible to lose weight while growing 2 babies?! I feel tiny here but people keep saying I look 30 weeks from the side- 19+3

@DKDK123 fabulous, well done DS! Does he do other people’s babies as well, or only his own siblings? (Asking for a friend…)

@bez91 yeah, I thought it seemed backwards. You can only get help if you basically don't work. 🤣 Sounds about right. I think the street corners might not bring in more than £82 a month either, with my skills. 🤭 @Juno231 good point about the pension.
@blackcurrantqueen if my child is as antisocial as its parents, then it would prefer a childminder. 🤣 And that would be my preference. And yes @Minster2012 with it being end of July/early August you are right. We won't fall foul to the wait for the next term really so that's one good thing @DKDK123

@Lexber I think cheese might not be agreeing with me either, but I only worked that out yesterday. I'm not sure much of anything is mind. I read your posts and laugh but I honestly can't imagine how you feel with 2. I feel horrid and usually I love food but I'm just beginning to feel I could jump off a bridge because of it! 😭 Today I had chicken soup for lunch, but I won't be doing that again. 🤦‍♀️ The only thing I seem to be able to eat is toast! And they actually inform you by post if you win on the postcode lottery! No need to check. 🤣 I won 1k the other year and I honestly thought someone was winding me up. But the money magically appeared in my bank when it was meant to. I did the sensible thing and put it towards buying a foal. 🤣🤣🤣

@Vil10 I would make the most of the lack of symptoms, but yes they come and go. I'm beginning to hate baby 🐸 because I can't deal with feeling so ill all the time. And I'm praying this only lasts so long! And I felt OK scan day after seeing, but back to being anxious the day after, so don't go thinking scans will make you feel better for long. 🤣
@minster2012 I maybe need to tell my mum then, so she might move in and look after me. 🤭

Nothing to report here. Other than I'm fed up of feeling like shit. We've got steak for tea and I don't think I even want to eat! 😭 I did mention the steak and BJ thing *@minster2012 and his response was what fu*ing BJ's? 🤣🤣🤣
I'm a bit worried about Christmas. Christmas day my family are coming here. Hopefully i can hide feeling bad but at worst I can tell them. They also never stay late and likely will leave by tea time. Boxing day however, we are going to DHs family. Usually we get there about 1pm and never leave until 9pm-10pm. I just don't know how I'm going to cope if I feel like shit? I'm OK in a morning but it descends badly from lunch time onwards. Also got no idea how I'm coping with what food, as what I can eat changes daily. New years eve we are meant to be going to my friends for food and drink, and stay over, but I'm thinking I am just going to cancel that.

@Lexber I'm not a massive wine drinker either, sparkling yes but anything else makes my stomach a bit funny. Glad you're getting on ok! I know a few people who say they lost weight when pregnant so odd but possible!

@paintfairy yes for that game I think you need to be offering BJs as standard tbh 😂 oh your DH too on the alcohol.. DHs step mum has also got Buck's Fizz for me for Christmas Day and wine for everyone else, I'll have one to be polite. I agree with @larrythelizard on the discos they're quite abrasive on the tongue. If worst comes to the worst to visit DHs family Boxing Day can you pull a sicky? I dunno say you must have had some dodgy smoked salmon or something?

DH got the appointment from the hospital today. He's got to go in Wednesday, they've said to keep the whole day free and he'll be seen by various specialists and consultants. All fine but the letter is covered in "cancer investigations" to "rule out cancer" in every other sentence. So his anxiety is through the roof understandably. May be naive of me probably but I'd be blown away if it was the C word. Shouldn't have taken 3 years to get to this bloody point!

@Lexber I've lost weight during pregnancy for definite my clothes got looser in the legs and arms 😅 so it's definitely possible! Must be all going to the babies. Bump is looking good for 19 weeks 👍 will be nice to see more bump shots from you all soon as the weeks go on. I'm at the point where it's not a nice novelty anymore just uncomfortable 😆

No it shouldn't have taken that long @bez91 but at least it sounds like some thorough testing.

@paintfairy how far away is DH family, could you say you've come down with a migraine and just leave? Or would you tell them your news and basically take to a bed/sofa if need be?

@Lexber I think it is possible to lose weight, particularly as you've been so poorly.

Has anyone seen any unisex born in 2022 babygrows? My sister is due in April and want to post her one with her Xmas parcel (she was due to be here for Xmas but thanks to Macron can no longer come so her Xmas parcel will be late!)

@bez91 shocking its taken 3 years but the nhs is utterly shit and no one cares if you drop dread (as long as not from covid). Fingers crossed though in his case that it's nothing serious like that all. But it's still very stressful going for tests etc and waiting to know. What terrible timing too (Christmas) but at least it gets it over with. 🤞
@Lexber @2020mission oddly I eventually weighed myself, as I thought my legs were thinner, and my fingers and just strange places really. 🤣 And I'd lost 6lb? Yet I don't know how.
@larrythelizard DHs family are about 30 minutes away. He annoys me because he'll never leave anywhere. I feel rude saying we need to go because it's not my family. But I'll start indicating to him that I want to go and we'll still be sat there for at least another hour. This isn't just at Christmas. Sometimes I even think they want us to leave and I'm like- why are we still here?! 🤬 Pisses me off. So whilst I will say to him if I feel ill I'll let you know discreetly, and then we need to leave and he'll say yes that's fine, when the time comes he'll be useless.

I'm also high risk as BMI just over 30 and I had a previous c section! But I've fought for my right to try for a VBAC in the midwife led birth centre. I think here high risk BMI is considered to be 35 now though. And age has increased here to 40!

@paintfairy could you sell Boxing Day as you massively overdid it on Christmas Day?

@bez91 how stressful for you with DH. I can't remember where you said it was but I think some ENT type referrals they biopsy it at the same time.

OH is currently building DDs dolls house for Christmas 🥰 we had Christmas snacks for dinner and now we are watching the strictly final. Had a lovely afternoon at a Christmas thing - pictures of DD looking adorable on my insta stories.

I think this baby has dropped which I swear never happened with DD! I need a wee every five minutes and I feel like I can breathe a bit better!

@2020mission I think it was the mirror close up as the mirrors in the toilets here make me look a lot bigger 🤣 I'm uncomfortable already 🤣🤣🤣 I'm screwed and have resigned myself to the fact I will need a weeble that wobbles and doesn't fall down (hopefully)

Well I'm deffo off eggs, I had a boiled egg in a salad last week and it tasted like pollution, had scrambled egg with breakfast this morning and again tasted the same, it really put me off and made me retch! I've been so tired today, had a lie in until 9:30 which never happens, then had to get back in bed at 12:30 and full on slept, proper deep sleep until 3:30, been at nanas 80th all night, people dragging me up to dance but my boobs were killing, and now I'm absolutely knackered and can't wait to sleep!! Also absolute shitter, our boiling isn't working😫 starts then cuts off before the heating comes on, OH has text his friend so hopefully he can come tomorrow morning and it won't be anything too major, the last thing we wanna do is pay out for a major job or a new boiler just for the new buyer to enjoy it in a few weeks when we move out, if it could only last a few more weeks🤞🏼🤣 couldn't find why we were discussing bmi and age and what for but I'm 24 (25 in March so will be 25 when give birth) and bmi 23!

The EPU (early pregnancy unit) round here is referral only so I'd have to wait til tomorrow to speak to the GP and get a referral. You might be able to self-refer, have a google of their number. Failing that you could get a private scan today?

Actually lolled at crouching leper @Minster2012 I have definitely been there! My boobs aren't huge but they're big enough on me because I'm fairly small in general and finding decent bras has been the worst thing. I've scrapped nursing bras now (all gigantic and hideous, even the expensive ones) and just gone back to SHOCK HORROR underwiring because quite simply life is too short to have sad saggy sacks. And I feel body conscious enough without having to wear nana bras and non-matching knickers!

General TSD update. Went to bed on time (hands firmly covered), woke up an hour later and rudely interrupted the Strictly final. Thank god we can pause live tv 😂 suddenly realised that the little arsehole was cold, having removed the top blanket from his bed the other night, so replaced that and WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS. However, now feel like a desperate eejit and terrible mother. Today's job is to open a Jisa (thanks @Juno231) to pay for the therapy TSD will inevitably need in later life!

@Vil10 we had similar when selling our old house but managed to just replace a small part costing £40 😬😬😬 buyers were knobs though!

Oh bless @Minster2012 you're not a leper. If your back is hurting I think you need to get your boobs some serious support with ugly wide straps and wide back!

I did a CB a weeks indicator this morning thinking that as I got a 2-3 last Sunday I was bound to get a 3+ but nope, another 2-3. Feeling quite deflated although I think it's probably because of how late I ovulated. The pregnancy setting on FF is useful as it dates pregnancy by LMP and also fétus age which it puts at 4 weeks which would tally up with the 2-3. Have ordered a couple more and will try again in a few days
