Hey girls! I've gone ahead and created a follow up thread for us all. Let's hope we have some more ladies joining us from over on the other thread! ❤️

@paintfairy thank god, I need to get rid of this headache! I'm the same, I fancy different things everyday, but always in the mood for salt and vinegar crisps!

@Minster2012 oh don't, I read about her yesterday and cried, it's just awful, no punishment is enough for monsters like that!

@Minster2012 @Juno231 love pickled onion monster munch, any crisps that are really vinegary I love!! Like remember discos?? They still sell them at the corner shop and they're always so strong!!

@Juno231 it will be, do you think he'll take a while off? I have no idea what my OH will take off, his company are so good though, he gets a bonus for just having a child, and then time and a half for appointments he has to attend??? It's crazy!!

@Crazydoglady123 oh your poor dog!! I'm so glad she seems okay in herself though, aren't they just the purest things ever! Not ideal for you though being heavily pregnant! Maybe it's a good distraction??

@2020mission oh they're really taking the piss aren't they!! Try and think positive, it might all go really well and could give birth before Christmas Day??

@bez91 that's it for me until the 4th jan OH is working Christmas Day morning then off until the 3rd as well! Whaaat, and they haven't budged on price?? The market is just crazy! We've been told by our mortgage advisor and estate agents that they're expecting prices to drop in the new year and more houses come up, apparently January and September are when the most houses come up for sale! Well we need to be out by end of jan, we thought it was the second week but the man who's buying, he works with OH's friend and he told him he thought we were moving out the end of jan, obviously that's better for us, and I'm trying not to stress over the fact we haven't found anything yet🥴 how're you feeling today??

@larrythelizard you and me both, it's still so so weird, still don't believe it, I always used to say I could never imagine getting that positive test!

Well I ordered the cards last night that we're using to tell our parents we're pregnant, I knew I'd have to order them this week but I'd been putting it off until I saw that I had to order them yesterday for them to arrive between the 22nd-23rd and we need them for the 23rd as that's my scan and mums birthday! I felt scared ordering them in case we don't get to use them, but only a week today until my scan and this nausea and the headaches are keeping me positive!!

@Vil10 I ate a lot of salt and vinegar crisps in the beginning. End of Jan will take the pressure off a bit, so that's good.
@Juno231 today is the first day I actually feel I could be sick. I can taste it. You will be regretting complaining about not having it soon, and I'll remind you to stop moaning because you wanted it. 🤣 DH keeps telling me to stop complaining and I said to him- you'd be bloody complaining if you felt like this! 🙄 Men.

On the monster much, I'm a beef fan I'm afraid! If I fancy them I'll eat pickled onion though. Flaming hot- absolutely not!

@vil10 oh I'm glad you ordered the cards on time! I was thinking of getting grandma and grandpa mugs for mine for Christmas but then decided against it as I think my mum would be very negative about getting stuff that early on and I don't need that. The other year she refused to go to my cousin's baby shower at like 36 weeks and was really vocal about how stupid they were to have it as it could still be stillborn 🙄🙄🙄 mum's a charmer lol

Damn so this week we got a gorgeous array of Berry Bros & Rudd wine, champagne and liqueurs sent to us from OHs work that I obv can't drink. And today he had a huge cheese delivery!! I've already told him that the two camembert looking ones will have to be baked so I can eat it too and I'm so making extra hot toasties with the rest 😅.

@clolo you lot have deffo kept me going! I feel excited to tell our parents but I'm so so nervous for that first scan!!

Quick question, can I have tinned tuna? I know it says on the nhs website only 2 portions of that and salmon a week, we always have salmon once a week for tea but I'm really fancying a tuna butty for dinner!! Also prawns, like fresh cold prawns in a prawn cocktail on Christmas Day??

Both fine @Vil10 i think it's something like no more than 2 portions of tuna a week because of the possible mercury content.

I feel absolutely fine today, my logical brain knows it means nothing but I'm a bit waaah! Just need to get on with life and forget about it again. Chose my Xmas present from DH today and I love it, a big massive duvet coat!

@larrythelizard it's on Saturday, as positive as I'm trying to be I did manage to get someone else to look after DS, I know he'd love to come see the scan but you know, just incase there's something wrong 🙈

@Vil10 discos have been one of my cravings this pregnancy, I've had a packet every day for weeks even tho they give me horrendous Indigestion afterwards. You'll need to let us see the cards when they arrive and let us know their reaction once you do get to tell the grandparents 😊

@clolo I was actually getting boy vibes at the start then switched to girl but I don't know if its just because DS has been referring to it as a girl that's put it in my head or if its a genuine gutted feeling. Will soon find out!

@Juno231 my Gran refuses to buy anything for any baby until its born as she says it's bad luck. She freaked when I was out buying stuff for DS after the 12 week scan 😂 What a lovely hamper, just a shame you can't have a lot of it 🙈

@vil10 I eat a lot of tinned tuna, it's ok to eat I'm sure the guidelines are something like 3 tins a week of it are ok.

DS has constantly whined about everything and anything ALL morning, ready for tearing my hair out (and have the fear of adding a screaming baby to the mix!). So have declared today a TV day, he can watch as much TV as he wants to I order to save my sanity!

Omg discos!! Yes @Vil10 @DKDK123!! I've also been really wanting salty things and so I like the salt & vinegar rice cakes so I'm not (just) eating monster munch. Salty crisps help stop headaches though.

@DKDK123 it's nearly Saturday & love those items! Hope DS gets better today, I can't break the spell but mine has been today so far I've got LOADS of jobs done. Winning. The fact he's still in pjs is of no consequence. ONG your blood steak dream love that!

@Juno231 Jesus. Is your mum related to my DHs? 🤣 I can't imagine what she'll say but it won't be polite. When we said we were getting married she asked him what he wanted to bother doing that for. Obviously she was invited, by the time the rsvp date came (like 3 months before) she was still being awkward and refusing to give an answer (she does livein another country). One of the things she said was- she didn't want to commit, because she might be dead by then. My dad was terminally ill. Did commit, but didn't come because in actual fact, he did die before. So you can imagine how well her carrying on went down with me. I literally still can't stand the woman and I told DH to tell her that she isn't coming, because I don't want her there. 🤬
@Minster2012v team yellow? You mean not finding out? I don't think we will.
And since DS is not a girl, the new baby will need some new things surely?! 🤦‍♀️🤣 But should it not be up to you if you do/don't buy things? I love the way everyone else likes to have a say on things.
@DKDK123 I think not buying things too early because its bad luck is fair enough. I'm not sure it is bad luck, but you are stuck with pointless expensive stuff if it goes wrong i guess. But there comes a point when you have to buy things because you can't exactly leave it all until 2 weeks before? I'm not really sure at what point that is. But since babies can also come early, no one wants to be caught out.

And she would have been dead had i got my hands on her. 🤭 I don't have the time of day for her, even now. If she lived in this country I don't honestly think DH and I would be together. So I'm very thankful she doesn't!

Ah other peoples opinions are just annoying aren't they?!

My stomach is sore like a pre-period constant sort of ache and bloat this afternoon. Told DH i think ive jinxed it by buying non alcoholic booze for Xmas in this week's shop and also because I started googling sofa beds for the possibly new nursery. He quite rightly pointed out that there's nothing I could or couldn't do to jinx it but argh my brain! Feels bad wishing the days away but I really am!

@Vil10 you sound not too stressed about it which is good and plus I suppose if you have to move with parents etc you now don't have the same worries before with TTC! I'm just worried with my brother he's going to end up moving in with us temporarily, he has a girlfriend but it's quite complicated so I don't think he'd opt to move in with her as first choice and I definitely don't want her and her intolerable child visiting my brother at my house all the time 🙈 feeling so much better yesterday/today thankyou!

@DKDK123 love you've gone for it anyway with the girl babygrow! Is it tomorrow you find out? Hope things improved with DS, my DD cried for about 45 mins yesterday inc on the way to nursery because she wanted 2 plaits and not 1, bearing in mind she never specified quantity 😆 if that's the biggest problem in your life kiddo you're fine!

@paintfairy also a bitch of a MIL here! She does unfortunately live in the same country unlike yours however 40 miles away and she won't drive on the motorway so that's ideal for us 🙌🏼

@paintfairy aaaah yes your MIL and my mum are the same person!! For my wedding mum was dragging her feet about RSVP'ing and then a month before the wedding "realised" her passport had expired so claimed she couldn't come to the wedding 😆

I had an hour long nap after work yesterday and it was divine. Other than that and some sore boobs I've had no symptoms this week! Even the constipation is gone.

I need to see if my local corner shop has discos - not sure I've ever had any. I have pre-ordered crisps from mum for when I go home though! Sourcream and ranch dressing 🤤🤤🤤

His face Xmas jumper was no good today so he wanted one that last week he said was too small so I put aside them had to root it out again this morning...only for him to say it's too small. Grrrrr

We slept a full 6 hours again last night and my boobs got their shit together so no voms! Yay! So TSD decided to fuck with me instead by waking himself up by sucking on his hands like some noisy dementor and crying because HE HAS HANDS

@Juno231 don’t worry into IVF bloods I hope the purpose of them won’t ever have to be used as I pray for a sticky baby for you 🤞🏻🌈 I I don’t have many symptoms also at the moment so your not alone with that 👀 I wake up every morning thinking should I be feeling a certain way? Sorry been quiet ladies had a busy week at work, my manager bought me welcome gifts to the unit which was really nice! Symptoms wise odd cramps & sore boobs here and there and bloat that’s about it, keep wondering if I’m going crazy wondering about symptoms that aren’t here! Crazy dreams still persists although they were baby related last night 😳 one part before I woke up for a wee was that I went for my early scan showed that I was later than I was although it’s impossible and baby was a girl? Then my second part of team I went to my early scan and saw two sacs and two babies 😳 I don’t know if these are signs are not but hey ho!
