My skin got dryer but that could be to do with the change in season for me.

Scan was lovely! Thought I was 9+5 but baby showing as 10+1 and no sign of cause for the bleeding.

Also got to hear it's heartbeat. 🥰 Such a lovely sound isn't it?

Hey all, I am still here... just! I have not had a great week with sickness and nausea. So it has been a loooong week. I was given cyclizine but it knocked me out completely and I was still vomiting lots so I have been given Prochlorperazine too. Been trying to get through taking one or the other or both sometimes too. I was off work last week and now this week too and basically stuck in bed. Even when I am not vomiting I feel so sick. So it has been a struggle. I am managing to eat little snacks and drink water but the constant vomiting is exhausting.

@Vil10 Woohoo for dye stealer and 3+. All is sounding great. Sorry to hear the nausea has started for you too though. I hope it doesn't get too bad. Also I found I got lots of breakouts, especially on my chin. They were quite painful too. They have come and gone so must be linked with hormones etc I would imagine.

Sorry to hear your little one didn't enjoy the panto @bez91. I remember being terrified of the panto when I was little too - luckily grown out of that one! Hope all is ok with your husband, health problems are so worrying and we always seem to think the worst don't we.

Haha @Minster2012 that is the sort of thing you see in a film. It could have been worst. At least she was saying your boobs were looking great! Bet everyone was envious.

Congrats @kaylsd on your 3+ too. It is a relief seeing it is progressing isn't it. Also I had loads of really weird and intense dreams for the first few weeks!

@feliznavidad2 Brilliant news about your scan, what a relief! Glad you celebrated with a nice lunch out too. I am 8 weeks tomorrow and got an early scan booked for Thursday so hoping for good news then too.

I have a 3+ today! (Apparently I’m 4+6 by LMP but 5+1 by Ov/Transfer date) Glad to be joining the gang 🎉

@feliznavidad2 how lovely that you got to hear the heartbeat! Does that mean your due date has come forward a bit as well then?

@Bea14 so sorry to hear you’re suffering, hoping you get some respite soon - how many weeks are you now?

@Minster2012 I feel like you missed a trick, and could have just rolled the tree in the lights while it was down, and then stood it up! Mind you, if you can get someone else to do it for you then always do that…

Sounds lovely @Juno231 😋 I like to do a gammon just with some brown sugar in the slow cooker, it cooks it lovely and comes out super juicy!

@Vil10 argggh your ankle, that made me wince reading it! My skin has changed yes, I started with adult acne when I was 18 and the only thing that has ever cleared it up is being pregnant 😂 it is quite dry too like @clolo but maybe the weather

Thanks ladies for your support with DH. He called to chase them as today was the cut off and they said they're still processing the referral, annoying and can't see him getting an appointment pre Christmas like they said he desperately needs. Obviously he still thinks he's going to die 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Bea14 sorry to hear you've been so ill, hopefully it doesn't last long! and it is meant to be a sign of a healthy pregnancy (every cloud?) There's a really good podcast called Beyond the Bump and they do an episode on HG which I'd recommend. It's hosted by two australian women who both had HG in their pregnancies (and they're also hilarious). Wohoo scan on Thursday!

@bez91your poor DH that sounds like it would be pretty full on, fingers crossed your can get an appt soon and that it's all good!

I'm 15 weeks now and juuuuuust starting to feel a bit normal again. I've been able to eat way more foods I've had to avoid so far and I can have coffee again without being sick, waheyy! Sadly, still can't have tea but never mind. Now that I'm feeling less horrendous, I want to start eating better, any suggestions for healthy snacks/meals that are easy + simple? x

Lovely news on the digi @kaylsd (!) also having weiird dreams - would be alright doing a song with Biffy though! ❤️ (my 16 year old past self is almost jealous!)

Ahh you say that @bez91 my almost 5 year old can tantrum a good 'un. It's hard when they look so much older but are still so little inside sometimes. No further bleeding, but still brown discharge - I'm keeping on top of the Lactulose to try and stop getting constipated as that's what really seems to start off of the bleeding from the um front.

Sorry to hear that things aren't any further forward for your poor OH, be kind to yourself too as it's hard work supporting someone. x

@Vil10 your poor feet! Hope they feel better soon, it sounds gross but blisters usually improve for me once they sort of dry up. And good idea OH telling his boss, it really does make it feel more real though when others know.

Shattered now, and really need to start getting sorted for Xmas. 😬 Anyone else a bit err behind? I've got DS' pressies but no wrapping done really.

I thought I was done with Christmas presents @feliznavidad2 and was so smug that I did it all when I was on mat leave before the sleep demon arrived. Then realised yesterday that I've only bought presents for the various kiddies in our lives, no adult presents whatsoever 🤦🏼‍♀️ back to the drawing board! I've actually bought a birthday present for a child who isn't 1 until Feb yet nothing for Christmas for my MIL or best friends... How have I managed that?!

I fear that I am unfairly maligning the sleep demon, who did a 6 hour stretch from 8pm to 2am last night. However, 8 week jabs today so I fear tonight may be a different story! I will not be renaming him just yet 😂

@Juno231 I agree! Definitely prefer doing my maths based on a theoretical conception date 5 days before my transfer date.

I’ve gone off tea & coffee again, which is normal symptoms for me, but I’ve got no others. Boobs have been huge since I started the ivf so I’ll be quite glad if they don’t actually get any bigger… Recommend the zip front stretchy crop tops from Sainsburys though if anyone’s still looking for comfy bras.

@Kate105 love the sleep demon name, I often refer to my toddler as shitbag which some people are a bit 🙄 about. It's not like I call him it to his face!

I have got a touch of piles this afternoon, a sign of not drinking enough I think (just can't face water it seems), I have a very unhappy general gusset area today 😂
