I just wanted to create this thread as I got my BFP today! Due 1st August 2022. Looking forward to meeting other mums and mums to be! This is my second pregnancy, I have a DD who is 2.5 y/o and arrived at 39w 6d. I'm 31 and have been very lucky in my journey - no complications with DD and conceiving quickly, this one has taken a lot longer but I'm incredibly lucky to have had no MC/CP so far. Fingers crossed everything progresses nicely and looking forward to joining your journey!

I’m due similar time and similar situation - DD is 2.5, will be 3 years 2 months between them (all being well). I’m over the moon we’re finally expecting, feels like we’ve been wanting this forever.
I’m just 34, DH is 39. Really ready to meet our second little one soon 🤞🏻 Think our DD will be super excited to have a little sibling.

Ahhh yay @mrsS21I recognise your name! So similar, it'll be great to have someone to talk to in the same boat. Feeling great so far, absolutely no symptoms at all apart from hunger 😅 here comes the weight gain! How are you doing? Any symptoms yet? It's such early days...

Hahaha it’s wonderful isn’t it?!? I could absolutely eat a horse right now! I weirdly had headache over the weekend and haven’t had one in ages, and my boobs are starting to get really quite sore. Had lower back ache last night, but no other symptoms really - compared to other cycles where I’ve been so sure I was pregnant and nothing! This time I was totally prepared for af and feeling pretty down, decided to test late Friday evening and got quite a strong bfp! 🥰
It’s so lovely to hear so many happy outcomes from November! And to be able to talk about it when no-one knows yet! Going to wait for our first midwife appointment before we tell family, I think.

So I think I will be due the first two weeks in August.

We have a 7 week scan the 21st December. It will be (hopefully) the best Christmas 🎄 pressie ever.

Adulted today! Phoned the midwife booking line, got my first midwife appointment and 12 week scan all booked! Hooray for exciting tasks 🥰

Congratulations! I'm 5 weeks pregnant with due date of 28 July. Love that it'll be a summer baby!

I do feel quite anxious as my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. No other symptoms besides extreme exhaustion!

Will you be telling your families before Christmas? They'll be wondering why I'm not hitting the champagne as hard as I usually do.

Feeling fine. Totally off sweet things which is weird. They don't make me feeli I'll or anything, just dont fancy them at the moment.
I'm 4 weeks and 3 days, so won't be due till around Aug 10th.
Keep waking up in the night with catastrophic thinking!
Started a wee journal to write thoughts down so they don't consume!

My due date is around 8th august. Feeling super nervous and wishing the days away!!!!

@TaleOfTheContinents just my booking appt with the midwife so far - she’ll book my scan at the time I guess. I’ll be almost 10 weeks then, so I’m hoping it won’t be long to wait!

Today is the first day I feel sick - I had nausea with DD but I’m nervous I’m actually going to vomit with this one. Ugh! 6 weeks tomorrow. I feel like it’s going to fly.

How’s everyone feeling about the pandemic? I’m hopeful about getting my booster asap, read up on a report from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which recommends the booster to all pregnant women. I’m WFH until January, which I feel so grateful for - especially if I get sick.

How’s everyone feeling and where are you all at? Would be good to get a due date calendar in… let’s get it started.

Hi ladies could I please join? I poked my into the other July/August thread but it's terribly busy for me 😅.

Got my bfp on Thursday at 10dpo - my due date is 15th of August. It'll be my first after TTC for two years and being due to start IVF next month - so this has all come as a bit of a shock and still feels surreal!

Symptoms wise I've just had really sore breasts since 7dpo.

Early scans? I'm considering squeezing one in on the 31st (I'll be out of the country over Christmas and 31st is the earliest I could do it with the new PCR quarantine rules) - but I'm worried that if it's bad news it'll ruin our NYE plans away 😬.

Speaking of NYE... What are you girls planning on saying to explain the lack of alcohol intake?

Hello ladies!! I just got my positive test over the weekend was first month trying so feeling so blessed, think my due date works out around mid august! I already have a 2.5 year old so he will be almost 3 by the time baby no.2 arrives. Not many symptoms yet except sore boobs and I’ve had a headache today!

Sorry meant my son is 2yrs3 months just now. Baby brain starting already 😂

@ohmybaby How nice that your booking in appointment is at 10 weeks. Mine is a week AFTER my 12 week scan - such a long time to wait!

I've had awful acid reflux and had a weird 5 minute dizzy/queasy spell earlier but luckily nothing more
Hoping I don't get anything as I'm emetophobic and travelling for work on public transport all day tomorrow

@juno231 same due date as me. Got my bfp yesterday. 15th August, its my late grans birthday 😭
We have a DS he will be 2 in March. Im really anxious already, I went into labour at 30 weeks and was so quick they couldn't stop it or explain why!!!

Omg im also due aug 1st! Got 1 3 year old already so this is my second pregnancy :)! Xx
