I just wanted to create this thread as I got my BFP today! Due 1st August 2022. Looking forward to meeting other mums and mums to be! This is my second pregnancy, I have a DD who is 2.5 y/o and arrived at 39w 6d. I'm 31 and have been very lucky in my journey - no complications with DD and conceiving quickly, this one has taken a lot longer but I'm incredibly lucky to have had no MC/CP so far. Fingers crossed everything progresses nicely and looking forward to joining your journey!

Lovely to find this group! I'm due 6th August, this is our first IVF baby after our last ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks. I'm 7+4 and have had 2 x scans which showed a good, strong heartbeat - the ideal Christmas present 🎁🎄⛄
I had awful sickness and headaches last week, this week im in better shape but have a lot of indigestion, heartburn and I'm also really breathless which is so odd for me!

This Christmas is going to be different, but hopefully still joyful!

@FiveDollarShakes congratulations!! The sickness isn’t pleasant !!

How’s everyone else feeling? I’m 6+3 and been so so sick this week! Also had a few headaches and some cramps.

How’s everyone doing? :)

ohmybaby · 23/01/2022 07:00

@Rc1993 much less sick thank you! Had my 12 week scan on Thursday and got an official due date of 2nd August! Felt so real. How are you doing?

@ohmybaby I’m also less sick thank goodness! I felt like it was never going to end. Unfortunately I have covid now tho 😔 thankfully it’s pretty mild though just feels like a cold. Oh amazing , how exciting!! I have my 12 week scan on 1st February! Can’t wait - think my due date will be around 14th august! Xx

Ah nooo @Rc1993 I’m so sorry to hear that! I tested positive yesterday and feel awful today, but hoping it’ll be quick - Thank god for the vaccine!!! I’ve heard it’s better to get in early pregnancy so fingers crossed for us both xx

@ohmybaby oh no! I hope you’re ok! Make sure you get plenty rest and loads of fluids. Thankfully I was poorly on the first day but I feel absolutely fine now! Have you had your booster? I’ve had 2 vaccines but a bit unsure of the booster when pregnant...

ohmybaby · 24/01/2022 11:02

I’m triple boosted, sadly my midwife told me that 25% of cases at my local hospital that were in the ICU were unvaccinated pregnant mothers :( terrifying. She said the vaccine doesn’t traverse the placenta too, which made me feel better - I got my 3rd at 6-7 weeks pregnant x

@Rc1993 I’m sure two is good protection! Just nice to have that extra layer of insurance, but now you’ve had covid you’ve probably got a nice bit of natural immunity Smile
