Early Pregnancy - 4 weeks

Hello,

I just found 6 days ago that I'm pregnant (I know, very early 🤦🏽‍♀️) I am currently 3 weeks 5 days so not even 4!

Just made this New thread in case somebody is in a similar situation and finds comfort by just sharing how things are developing. This is my first pregnancy and have been trying for almost a year. It is extremely early to tell to anybody a part of my husband 😌

@ccbt98 I'm definitely getting one! We just can't wait to know if things are going ok. I wish where we live could get scans that cheap! Ours is going to cost over £200 which is a complete joke 😭😭😭😭 and getting another one back to my country which it's just over 50€, basically we'll get a couple before our first ultrasound at 12 weeks

@ccbt98 we’ve booked one with Window to the Womb and it was £49! They have clinics around the country, so worth checking them out!

Hi everyone, would love to join. Just got my BFP today! Still four days away from AF so very early. I think I am about 3 weeks and 6 days along. Keeping fingers crossed that all progresses well.

is anyone having symptoms? I have a lot of bloating and just a general feeling of things changing in my body--not sure how to describe that!

Congratulations @rosewater20! I found out at a similar time and I didn’t have any symptoms at the time (I actually was 100% sure I’d get a BFN). A few days after my BFP, I got the most incredible boobs ever, which has remained pretty consistently except for a day here or there.

I’m having some mood swings and quite emotional - yesterday I nearly cried as the shop didn’t have any branston pickle and I really wanted a cheese and pickle roll!
I’ve got a bit of insomnia and vivid dreams as well, but apart from that, I don’t feel much different at the moment.

I got my first positive test on Wednesday! And based on dates etc think I'm 4 weeks 4 days, which I think should be 2-3 Weeks on a CB digital but it's only showing 1-2! I can't help but fear the worst but the FR lines are getting darker each time!?
I had a MC back in 2019 and I can't help but worry! I had really sore nipples last week but this week they haven't been too bad and other than that I've just be a little more tired than usual!
I'm just so worried 😩 my other half is so positive so we've booked an early reassurance scan for when i should be 7 weeks but I can't help worrying about it all! Xxxx

Please can I join this thread. Got my positive test yesterday and think I'm about 4+ weeks and very anxious on what to do next. Got terrible back pain like I'm due on my period, is this normal?! Hope everyone is good 🙂 x

Hi, I am new here! Currently 4 + 3 according to natural cycles. Had 3 positive tests this week. Feeling really nervous incase something goes wrong. Feeling tired and boobs are abit tender. Nice to meet other people who have found out super early too - gives me some reassurance that I aren't going mad with all this worry!

Does anyone think they'll tell people at Christmas? Our main scan isn't until jan 5 but we have an early scan this week. All being well I think we'll tell nearest and dearest or is that too early? Not sure as it's our first and it's all very new and exciting 😅

Just been discussing this with my husband, we might just tell our parents at Christmas and ask them to keep it to their selves just incase. I only found out I was pregnant 5 days ago and I’m already bursting to tell someone! X

I also think I’ll tell close family at Christmas. I’m going to have to tell work soon because I have a job where there is a risk if me getting hurt etc and don’t want to tell work before my mum xx

@ccbt98 how did the ultrasound go on Tuesday? And definitely for us if scans shows everything good and healthy we will be telling to the whole family on Christmas Day as a present. We know is early but we thought we are also allowed to enjoy this moment 🤍

@wishuponastar1988 congratulations! think we all are more or less on same weeks! When do you have your first appointment with the GP?

I spoke with a midwife on Monday and have an appointment with them on the 8th. So nervous x

@Thedesirerainbow haven't had the stomach to be on here really 🥺 my hcg went from 39 to 51 in 48 hours last week so that was a bit of a shock. My gp said the pregnancy wasn't growing as should be and all they could do was offer support. But I had follow up bloods with epu today and it's risen to 216 so that's hopeful! Still have symptoms so at the moment it seems to be between everything normal as can be or ectopic. Scan on Monday and it already feels like the longest weekend ever 😭😭😭

I've been feeling better the last couple of days but bloody hell, I feel so so weak. Had a very random cm this morning, very yellow and sticky and my belly is constantly swollen, I feel like 6months pregnant. Not sure if this is normal or what 🤔 have an appointment for tomorrow for some urine sample and blood test to check my vitamins. 9 more days for my first scan 😅

How is everyone? I hope you are all well. I need some advice, I put completely the wrong dates on my self referral forms for the hospital, do you think I should ring them or fill out another one? Feel like I'm going to be waiting for ages before I get an appointment. X
