Morning @Floslittlebean, do you think you’ll bring your scan forward? Mine is on 13th Dec at week 7 x

Coco9910 · 26/11/2021 10:28

@Firsttimetrier same!! The only symptom I’ve really had is cramps every day but I didn’t have any last night which made me a bit worried but then I said to my partner I don’t think you’re supposed to her cramps every day for 9 months so it’s probably normal. And I said I’d like a bit of nausea..I don’t want to be sick I just want to feel a little queasy 😂 probably jinxed myself. The only other symptoms I’ve had is a sore lower back and boob pain and nipples and sensitive. I had heightened smell for like a day but seems to be fine now. I’m 6+2 according to my apps but I reckon I’m more like 5+3 due to me ovulating on day 20 rather than around day 14 so hopefully I’ll get a few more symptoms in the next week.

@Danani I do the same!! I was due AF about 9 days ago now and I still tentatively check every time I go for a wee 😩😂 feel like I can’t stop doing it now 😂

mrsS21 · 26/11/2021 10:29

@Firsttimetrier I’m not 100% sure on the difference with when you ovulated I’m afraid. Maybe go from the What to expect when you’re expecting week by week?

@Misty84 I had done my last test at 14dpo and with seeing the really strong line, was happy not to test again. But with my symptoms easing off had a little worry. But hoping that helps calm my brain down for a while. I’m getting really silly insomnia, waking around 2am til 5ish - so I’m still having something at least!

We haven’t booked a private scan, but I’m hoping I can get one in our epu if I’m worried.

@Floslittlebean have they advised you to go to epu if you’re concerned?

How is everyone doing today?

Coco9910 · 26/11/2021 10:59

I’ve just had my booking appointment letter through and now I feel nauseas..can’t work out if it’s baby related or nervous for the appointment 😂 I will be 10+5 at my booking in appointment so hopefully a scan won’t be too long after it. It makes it feel so much more real. I’ve got a month now to get over my fear of blood tests 😅😂

Floslittlebean · 26/11/2021 11:02

Hey
@misty84 I'm not sure, part of me thinks to just leave it as is unless anything else happens.

@mrsS21- no they were highly unbothered by what I described Blush so no referral to EPU for me.

It has made me a little tempted to test again now though. Breaking my own rules. Attached with this morning's at the bottom. They are all pretty identical, not sure how much darker these get or if they steal lines. My FRER I did along with my 3+ yesterday was very strong. I don't want to go get another, feels like a step backwards, but might comfort me to see that again.

@Floslittlebean that’s an absolute due-stealer! And the strips look the same darkness, so would definitely take comfort in that. I think, if I was worried at all with bleeding, just self refer - if that’s possible? Our EPU can be called, no midwife needed, and just go get piece of mind.

I know many say implantation bleeding early on, but if you’re more stressed about it, just go get your mind at ease x

Luckyfamilymum · 26/11/2021 12:33

Hello everyone!!

Happy to be joining the chat as I got my BFP this morning, day of my missed period (I managed to wait!) 2nd consecutive month getting pregnant so keeping myself from celebrating… can’t help myself!
Due August 8th - any due date buddies?

aspiring2021 · 26/11/2021 14:38

Hello everyone, joining the chat for some support as I got my BFP two days ago, and due date is currently 4th August. We had been TTC for 6 months.

I’ve booked in for my first midwife appointment on 23 December.

This is my first pregnancy so feeling a little overwhelmed / anxious / emotional Confused

Danani · 26/11/2021 14:55

Welcome welcome, lovely ladies @Luckyfamilymum and @aspiring2021! And CONGRATULATIONS!

If you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you're totally not alone, and you have come to the right place! :) Just, take it one day at a time and know we're all here for each other.

Danani · 26/11/2021 15:01

Oh and @Floslittlebean that FRER is chef's kiss!!! An absolute thing of beauty, zero doubt there. and you got the 3+ on CB digital - I mean that's all you can ask for and plenty of reassurance! Now just sit tight for that scan, but everything you could have tested - you have and you have gotten the best/highest/boldest possible results! :)

firsttimemumj · 26/11/2021 15:58

Hi ladies!

I am 7 weeks today with my first and due July 16th 2022. Currently not many symptoms and just extreme tiredness in the evening which I'm a bit concerned about. Hopefully I'm one of the lucky ones and I may have jinxed it but the lack of symptoms is really worrying me!

First private scan at 10 weeks is on Dec 18th (holding out for a little bit longer so we have a clearer picture to announce to our families on Christmas Day!) and then have our first NHS scan on January 5th which will be a wonderful start to the new year 🥰 Hope everyone has a wonderful and successful pregnancies 💗

Luckyfamilymum · 26/11/2021 18:10

@aspiring2021 totally normal to feel anxious! We all do & are in it together, it’s lovely having a little gang going through the same rollercoaster ride!
@firsttimemumj your symptoms at 7 weeks are exactly what I was like with my daughter… oh my god the tiredness is unreal! I remember coming home from work & not being able to do anything, not sure how I’m going to cope this time with a 2YO! Very early for me still so just have a few cramps & already feel the sickness coming every now & then!

Floslittlebean · 26/11/2021 21:33

Thank you @Danani and @mrsS21. I'm going to try and chill out a little!

Welcome @Luckyfamilymum, @firsttimemumj and @aspiring2021 Smile

TeacherMama91 · 26/11/2021 21:44

Is anyone else experiencing nausea all day long? I’ve barely ate the last 2 days I feel so ill. Hoping it will pass, I’m 4 weeks and I can’t remember having nausea so early on with my DS. Any tips would be appreciated Envy

Luckyfamilymum · 26/11/2021 22:20

@TeacherMama91 also 4 weeks 🥰
Not quite at that point yet but getting waves of sickness - in my last pregnancy I remember not eating being the worst thing for it! Can you try nibbling on crackers to keep it at bay?

Firsttimetrier · 27/11/2021 08:33

@TeacherMama91 sorry to hear you feel sick already! Maybe try fresh ginger tea and beige foods such as toast, crackers etc.

I’ve totally lost my symptoms today and feel incredibly productive. Yesterday I went on a 4 hour walk, I’ve booked into a couple of gym classes for the week, and cleaned the house as soon as I woke up this morning.
I feel like this level of productivity is too good to be true and I should be feeling exhausted instead?

Coco9910 · 27/11/2021 09:36

Got my 3+ on a digital this morning so feeling relieved 🥰

@Firsttimetrier symptoms come and go..when I have those moments where I just start cleaning everything and being productive, I like to tell myself it’s early nesting 😂

Due July/August 2022
mrsS21 · 27/11/2021 09:48

😍 loving that test @Coco9910! Huge congrats, that must feel nice to see 3+!

@Firsttimetrier I think it’s just the calm before the storm (so to speak!) take advantage of those days when you have them. I felt similar yesterday, got loads done with little lady in tow, today I’m feeling pretty ropey. The insomnia is starting to kick my butt, I’m knackered after being up 2- after 5am… totally a duvet day if I could.

Happy weekend everyone!

Dinomama21 · 27/11/2021 10:15

@Coco9910 amazing! I’m really debating whether to buy another one 😂🙈 I’m 5 weeks tomorrow, so I’d hopefully see a 3+

My cramps have stopped, my boobs are killing me, where I’m waking up in the night in pain with them. With DC1 I had no symptoms what so ever, didn’t feel pregnant at all until I was starting to show. But that was 6 years ago, so I can’t remember much, feels like I’m pregnant for the first time again.

Irishfarmer · 27/11/2021 10:29

@Coco9910 that's making me want to do another digital to see 3+ weeks now!

I've been having lower back pain and slight twinges around where I reckon my ovaries are. But no nausea, trying not to worry about that.

Trying not to worry, I was in with the GP yesterday and she looked at my bloods from last week in EPU (they just said they were fine) HCG was 580 and progesterone was 51 I've had a google, they look good for 4 weeks. I've the EPU again next Friday so just hoping to see those numbers go up, I'll be 6 weeks. Hoping to see something on the scan too.

Misty84 · 27/11/2021 10:31

I’m 5 weeks today and got a 3+ too 🙂

Coco9910 · 27/11/2021 10:49

@Dinomama21 @Irishfarmer I would definitely recommend! So nice to see the progression over a week.

@Misty84 congratulations! So exciting isn’t it ☺️

Firsttimetrier · 27/11/2021 10:50

@mrsS21 and @Coco9910 thank you both. It’s so hard not to worry that everything is progressing as it should. I’m going to do another digital tomorrow and hopefully see the 2-3 weeks, which will help ease my mind a bit.

Danani · 27/11/2021 11:00

Awww that 3+ is beautiful, @Coco9910! I bet you’re absolutely chuffed to see it! I am saving my last digi to do in a week or so and hopefully get that 3+ too!

I did to a FRER this morning though, not FMU and I feel like finally my test line is a bit darker than the control line! Does it seem this way to you too guys? I’m 16 DPO today.

Due July/August 2022
Misty84 · 27/11/2021 11:08

Yes @Coco9910 so exciting and reassuring! I last tested a week ago and it was 2-3, so it was nice to use that final test and see the 3+! That’s it now until my early scan on 13th Dec!

@Danani Looks very good to me!!
