Sorry **thinking

misstickhill · 25/11/2021 17:34

Hi everyone. Wondering if you mind if I join? I’m 5 weeks tomorrow!

So lovely to see a few familiar names on here. Seems like October/November has been lucky indeed!

Thrown away my old easy@home tests today because I was getting obsessed with progression.

Midwife appt booked for 20th dec and private window to the womb scan on the 10th at 7 weeks.

Congrats to all! So exciting.

Cruz86 · 25/11/2021 17:48

Thank you for the well wishes ladies. Unfortunately it wasn't good news for me this time 😞 I wish you all the most amazing pregnancies and lots of love ❤️

Danani · 25/11/2021 18:06

@Cruz86 I am so so so sorry, lovey! Sending you lots of love! x

misstickhill · 25/11/2021 18:27

@Cruz86 I’m so sorry. I was so excited to see you in here as I remember you from the October thread. Sending you big hugs and strength xx

Firsttimetrier · 25/11/2021 18:34

Oh @Cruz86 I’ve been thinking of you all day and I’m so, so sorry to hear this. Hope you are looking after yourself and sending you lots of love ❤️

@Danani it went well and they are so excited but understandably very precautious as it’s still early days. I think they may have seen as his dad gave me the strangest look when I arrived but they let us tell them which was lovely!

I can’t say I’ve been as good as not POAS (honestly, these easy@home are so tempting as they’re so cheap and I don’t know what else I’d do with them 😅).
Looking at today’s line versus Friday’s is quite funny as I really thought my first test was so dark, when it’s in fact so faint compared to todays!

We’ve also booked our Window to the Womb appointment for the 21st Dec when I’ll be 7 weeks. Excited to have a date to look forward to but convinced that I’m jinxing myself when telling people or confirming it by putting plans in place 😬

mrsS21 · 25/11/2021 18:37

So, so sorry @Cruz86, sending thoughts and prayers to you and your OH.

mrsS21 · 25/11/2021 18:43

@Firsttimetrier that’s so lovely they let you guys still have your moment telling them ❤️ Super in-laws! How are you doing?

@Danani I think my LP is always around the same 12-13 days, but not sure if everyone is the same. I know from a few conception threads that women who have a short one were worried about chance of conception, but I don’t really know much about it!

ChattyMum86 · 25/11/2021 19:35

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining, I'm 4wks + 4 today. Got a 2-3 result on a Clearblue digital today. I'm exhausted just now but know I'll have insomnia when I go upstairs to bed - weird!
How are you all feeling?

Dinomama21 · 25/11/2021 20:06

@Cruz86 I’m so sorry, sending lots of hugs! ♥️

I’m struggling to keep up with the thread! But it so nice seeing everyone joining 😊 I’m exactly, the same the symptoms come and go and you can’t help but worry. My boobs are killing me today, and I’m so tired 😴 I’ve booked an early scan for the 17th of December- should be nearly 8 weeks then so fingers crossed. Going to call the midwife next week- it’s been a nightmare trying to find the right number online.

Irishfarmer · 25/11/2021 21:29

@Cruz86 so sorry to hear this :( try to be good to yourself the next few weeks, you'll be going through a world of hormones x

chloeandco · 25/11/2021 21:52

Hi!! Just found out I'm expecting Baby #2 and couldn't be more excited!

Hope nobody minds me asking - but would anyone be interested in forming a Group on Facebook with others due around the same time?

I did this with my first born May 2020 and the group continues to be a lifeline - honestly was amazing during lockdown.

Let me know if you fancy and I'll post a link to a hidden private group Smile

chloeandco · 25/11/2021 22:09

Really hope nobody minds me posting this but I just set up a group if anyone would like to join - I've called it "Secret Bees" for discretion and it's private and hidden from search.

fb.me/g/my3sMdk9h/PhmZfaYh

I honestly can't describe how much I've loved having an online due date / baby group with my DS who was born last year and would love to try and replicate that this time around!

Hope I'm not getting carried away here but I've been bottling up my excitement for a week since getting my BFP and now feel fit to burst!

ChattyMum86 · 25/11/2021 22:56

@Dinomama21 we must be very close with due dates, I also have an early scan booked on the 17th and will be 8 weeks on the 19th (I think) 😬🥰

mrsS21 · 26/11/2021 02:27

Thanks @chloeandco :) that sounds great to have so many of us around the same dates!
I’m 5 +2 today, so think I’m similar to you. Have our booking appointment at 7 weeks. This will be our second too :) LO is 2 1/2. :)

Firsttimetrier · 26/11/2021 06:49

Morning all,
The only symptom I have now is slightly sore boobs and slightly increase in needing to wee more but not had any cramping or anything. I’m hoping that’s normal for 4 weeks?

I don’t want to jinx myself and potentially end up with a whole pregnancy of nausea but some other symptoms would be greatly appreciated so I know things are progressing in the right direction.

Dinomama21 · 26/11/2021 07:04

@ChattyMum86 exactly the same, I’ll be 8 weeks on the Sunday 😊

Thank you @chloeandco great idea!

Misty84 · 26/11/2021 07:15

@Firsttimetrier Those are the only symptoms I have too, I’m 4w+5. Hopefully normal?! I had my first midwife appointment yesterday and it definitely felt like I was jinxing the whole thing by planning future scans etc! It’s so nerve wracking! 😬

mrsS21 · 26/11/2021 07:41

@Firsttimetrier @Misty84 ditto! In fact had a panic and tested again yesterday asy sore boobs aren’t as bad as they have been, no more back pain/cramps, but need to wee a lot! Test was strongest I’ve got on easy @ home, so my mind eased a little, but I’m so worried something will go wrong…here was me thinking that 2nd time round would be more relaxed!

But seems like we’re all having similar experiences (or some of us are). Gives me hope! I’m 5+2 today :)

Misty84 · 26/11/2021 07:48

@mrsS21 I haven’t tested since last weekend and I’m too scared to in case my line has disappeared, I know that sounds ridiculous🙃 Glad you got a super strong line!
This is my first time and was a long road to get here so the fear is real! 🤪 Sorry to hear you have the same feelings second time around!

Danani · 26/11/2021 08:05

Morning all, Happy Friday!!!

I am completely the same, have no symptoms other than the pre-AF sore boobs, which are not even that sore and I do wee a lot but I thought it's because I drink a lot of water! I think the lack of symptoms is absolutely normal, and then from week 6 or so is when all hell breaks loose and nausea (for some) kicks in!

I'm either 5 weeks today, or 4+6 - not sure why but there is a difference by a day on some of my apps (even though I used the same LMP date).

I haven't tested since Wed when I had that freakout that my line is lighter...I think I will try to hold off and if I test it will be over the weekend or Monday.

I keep doing this thing where every time I go to wee I shut my eyes and then kinda peer through to see if AF has come, it's such a mind game! AF was supposed to be Wed-Fri this week, so I feel like when I made it through to Mon I may be a little more relaxed?!
TBH, I just want to get excited and happy and share the news with anyone who'll listen, but I know this is kinda silly at this early stage, so just doing my best to take it one day at a time instead!

Firsttimetrier · 26/11/2021 08:21

@Danani I’ve heard that week 6 is all systems go for some women! I feel like now I’ve said I want a few symptoms I may end up being incredibly nauseous 😬.

Can I ask a question to you all, that’s probably incredibly stupid.

So I got my BFP on 9 DPO, so this means implantation must have happened earlier? Some day between 6 DPO and 8 DPO?

If so, does this mean the little embryo is more developed than if I got a BFP later on as everything happened slightly earlier?

I hope that makes sense but I’ve had an awful night sleep 😂.

eekness · 26/11/2021 09:22

Does anyone go to they gym? I'm not hardcore but do some classes and not sure how much to do and when to tell the instructors as wasn't planning on telling anyone however that's getting quite difficult!

Misty84 · 26/11/2021 09:29

@Danani You sound exactly like me! I’m still checking for blood whenever I go to the toilet. And I definitely tell anyone who’ll listen, I even told the random lunch lady in the playground! My OH hasn’t even told his parents!

Sorry @Firsttimetrier I’m not sure! 😕 I don’t think it’s anything you should be worrying about though? (I know it’s easier said than done!)

@eekness I went to gym classes regularly (4-5 times per week) before conceiving so I’m going to continue but just not push myself to the max. (Midwife yesterday confirmed this plan is fine). I’ve mentioned it quietly to my instructors just so they’re aware.

Floslittlebean · 26/11/2021 09:43

Morning!
Agree with all the above I'm 5+1 and symptoms come and go. I've noticed I only get sore boobs at night and the odd cramp once or twice a day. It only lasts like 10 seconds but they are stronger and more painful. I did speak to a midwife as had a tiny amount of spotting after using the toilet for the first time in a couple of days (sorry tmi!). That with the random cramping sent me into a spiral, but she was very chilled about it all, and it stopped right away, nothing since. My private scan is booked for 19th Dec during my 8th week and now I kind of want to bring it forward.
