I'm so sorry @Bloomers58@20viona x

Bloomers58 · 09/12/2021 10:41

Savour every moment ladies. I spent 8 weeks trying not to get attached and it doesn't hurt any less. I just wish I'd let myself feel the love more. It wouldn't have made any difference to my pain.

HA22 · 09/12/2021 11:54

Morning all, a colleague of mine offered me gum yesterday and it completely got rid of my nausea! been chewing on it since, did a quick google search and it doesn't seem harmful

Borgonzola · 09/12/2021 13:06

I've got constant low level nausea so will give gum a try!

Misty84 · 09/12/2021 13:17

Wise words @Bloomers58. I’ve been so anxious and not sleeping, and trying not to get too attached, but I’m going to follow your advice now and just make the most of it xx

Bloomers58 · 09/12/2021 13:46

@Misty84 very glad to hear it. Every living thing deserves connection and love. I wish I'd given mine a bit more x

jokerflowers · 09/12/2021 14:46

@20viona so sorry for your loss!

jokerflowers · 09/12/2021 14:47

Anyone else going to the toilet a stupid amount at night??? I mean I woke up every hour last night bursting 😂 this is my 4th pregnancy, I have 2 children 7 and 5 but I don't remember my pregnancies with them Cus it was ages ago so this feels all new 😅

mamatoamberplusbump · 09/12/2021 14:49

Me!! I got my BPF last night on cycle day 28. Due roughly 18th august with baby number 3! My youngest just turned 1, 4 days ago! Gonna have my work cut out for me Grin

irishfarmer · 09/12/2021 16:21

@HA22 I read that somewhere, and picked up some today. It does work and stops me constantly eating too. Got more fruit to so that I'm at least not eating crap. Thank god there I live in the back arse of no where, we have a chinese and a chipper in the nearest town but they don't open until 6pm or deliver. If I lived somewhere with uber eats/ deliveroo I would be way too tempted.

ellie1789 · 09/12/2021 16:26

@jokerflowers I'm thankfully not that frequent, but I am definitely finding it's waking me up in the morning. Do you also struggle to pee as fast as before? It's my first pregnancy so I'm new to all this, but I feel like I can't push it out and just have to let it run for longer (if that makes sense). I'm so worried about a UTI or ectopic but don't want to bother the NHS if I'm just being a drama queen

Firsttimetrier · 09/12/2021 16:42

I’ve got the feeling today that reminds me of an all day hangover and I feel terrible!

Constant snacking isn’t helping whereas before it eased the nausea slightly.

@jokerflowers I’m peeing way more through the night. I never had to get up before and now I’m up at least once or twice.

jokerflowers · 09/12/2021 17:16

@ellie1789 I do find it harder to pee! Not all the time, put sometimes I sit there and have to push to get started, then push to make sure it's all out 😅 only gentle encouragement tho so nothing to feel worried about, I get you, I just figure no pain no uti 🤷🏽‍♀️ tbh I don't want any antibiotics or anything so hopefully nothing like that strikes, don't feel like a drama queen.. you have concerns you check them out girl! That's what it's there for 😊

jokerflowers · 09/12/2021 17:17

@Firsttimetrier yeah I'm going a lot, I'm also snacking a lot too 😅 and mine aren't all healthy, I often eat 2 big bars of chocolate a day. I'm vegan tho so I consume a more beans, veg than some people.. having said that I'm by no means a healthy vegan so not sure if it helps haha

ellie1789 · 09/12/2021 17:24

@jokerflowers yes that's exactly it! Oh I'm glad it's not just me. Yeah, I just keep getting cramps with a bit more on my left side... With all the bad news over the past few days on the forum and FB, I'm worrying. I know I should, I might call them after the weekend just for a chat through to hopefully make myself feel better

jokerflowers · 09/12/2021 17:30

@ellie1789 I get you, I worry too at times but am trying to keep that far out of my mind. Last pregnancy for some reason I was so scared the worst would happen and then it did, it's like I felt it, this time even tho it pops into my mind I feel like it'll be fine so I'm just trying to stick with that. Also I get weird pains, tbh I wouldn't even call it pain Cus it's not painful, but random twinges and stuff sometimes in different places, it's just our bodies changing, and if this is your first one it'll change all the more as all this is new for it. Get all the reassurance you need, a relaxed mum means a healthy happy baby 😊 to relax myself I search for pregnancy guided meditation on YouTube, light some candles and listen to one, don't have to actually do it, it's just some positive words with relaxing sounds that I find really really calming and positive. Give that a go maybe 🥰

@ellie1789 I find it so much harder to pee at the same speed now too! So glad you said this as thought it was just me!

eekness · 09/12/2021 20:07

@Borgonzola the dates are peoples scan dates and how far along they're be

This is so inspiring @Bloomers58 and has made a big impact on me today (I even read it to my partner). Thank you for writing this even in your grief, I’m taking it forwards with me. xxx

Juno231 · 09/12/2021 20:44

Does it make sense to create a due date list as well? Especially as quite a few on here won't be having early scans?

Bloomers58 · 09/12/2021 21:03

@Misty84 you're so welcome. I'm really glad it's inspired you. All the very best for a happy pregnancy, full of love xx
