@Coco9910 paracetamol is absolutely fine.

@HA22 I've read that ginger helps with nausea - ginger tea, ginger ale, ginger biscuits, whatever you can stomach. I imagine dry carby snacks might also help like salted pretzels or crackers.

Can I join? Got my BFP on 2 Dec so about 4-5 weeks pregnant now. It's my first DC and I'm excited/terrified 😁 pregnancy has been great so far and no sickness yet but I hear it starts in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed I miss that boat!

@Coco9910 I'm avoiding paracetamol as well unless absolutely necessary. Purely because there's research that shows the link between prenatal use of paracetamol and 20% increases in risk of adhd/autism.

I'm so stressed! Iv just done a cheapie and it's stark negative. Iv had slight bloody discharge today and I had some stomach cramps last night. Tbf a cheapie has never shown two lines but Iv had a positive 1-2 weeks last week on clear blue and a positive FRER and CB. I need to do the other digi but I'm scared.

I just had half a paracetamol. I’m going to try my best to avoid it but I’d had the headache a couple of days and needed help 😂

@20viona how many dpo are you? The cheap ones might not be as sensitive. Maybe try another FRER?

@Coco9910 like 18DPO. I'm gonna try and wait till the morning to do my other digi. I had implantation bleeding with my daughter and didn't find out I was pregnant until about 6 weeks so I'm Hoping it's that.

I'm with you ladies on the nausea! I'm currently 7+3 and and feeling a little more nauseous each day. It's pretty horrible first thing in the morning, and then crops up if I get hungry throughout the day. I'm having to eat every 2hrs to keep it at bay!

Any ideas on what else might work to keep a lid on it (other than constantly grazing)?

Not ideal as I lost a stone and a half this year, and now putting it all back on. Things I've read said most people don't put on weight in the first trimester - I definitely have and it worries me a bit about how much bigger I'm going to get!!

I'm also 7 weeks 3 days today! I feel like I've got a constant hangover (the worst!) and also feel very nauseous when I haven't eaten but worth with the grazing I will be putting unnecessary weight on too! The lack of energy means I haven't been able to exercise like I used to. It's so hard not being able to tell people and having to disguise it but at least we can hibernate at home in this awful weather and working from home is a saviour! It will be worth it!!

Ah congrats @journeytomum! Its nice to hear someone is experiencing similar symptoms. I was prepared to start putting weight on in the second trimester, but not this early 😂

I'm still having to go into work and it's getting harder to hide it!

We've also got our Christmas party coming up and I'm a bit nervous about going. Is anyone else feeling the same? It'll be quite a large gathering and people will be coming from across the country. Not sure if I'm being too much of a worry wort!

Had my 4th scan tonight at 7 weeks and it's all good! 😁 It's now measuring 2 days ahead and heartbeat is strong. ♥️
I still have pretty much zero symptoms... in case anyone worried about the same! Don't think I'll worry about that anymore xx

Newbie here and hope you don’t mind me joining. Very surprised to see a BFP on Sunday morning. Believe I was around 14 DPO. Doesn’t seem real currently. No symptoms to report of yet.

Hello I'm due around 10 August. Very nervous about being nauseous - have a toddler already. All this talk of early scans making me nervous. I was planning on just waiting for my 12 week scan at the end of January (unless signs of issues). Is anyone else doing that?

Morning mommies. I had my my first ultrasound yesterday at 6+3. The scan showed more than one sac. One of the sac has a fetal pole (small embryo). The scan couldn't pick clearly if their is an embryo in the other sac. So I was asked to come back in 2 week. well delineated sac. CRL 00.73 =6+4 EDD = 28/07/2022 The urine test also came out clear of UTI. Tbh the test result really came as a relief, because I struggled to take the last antibiotics I was given and don't wish to take more at this early stage.

P.s I keep having symptoms that comes and goes. At times I worry when my boobs just doesn't hurt as much or when I wake up not feeling pregnant...Lol... I do have cramps and waist pains. Also some pullings at my middle when I change position. At a point I was worried about ectopic because, I was having pains at just ones side of my abdomen and shoulder. I hope this helps lift someone's worry. God is faithful.

@Mercified congratulations and that's a great CRL measurement! It's so relieving when you think you have no symptoms but then get a successful scan isn't it? How are you feeling about the potential other sac? Xx

Morning all, the morning munchies are getting out of control. I’ve gone from not having anything until lunchtime to waking up this morning and having a slice of leftover pizza from dinner last night.

If I don’t eat, I feel like I’ll hurl.

Also did a cheapie test just to reassure myself that it is pregnancy doing this 😂 the second line came up before the dye had reached the end of the strip!

I am new here in this feed.
Currently 5w+2, had my ultrasound yesterday, measuring 1cm ( sack). Went to a private clinic, during the appointment doctor offered NIPD test to me ( new generation genetic abnormalities test). I am not at risk in any shape or form, so I wonder if any of you were offered this test or have any experience with it? Don't want to be pushed into some expensive and totally unnecessary privately paid tests...

Thank you @Rachae. The relief was so great that I cried. That second came as a surprise tbh, as I wasn't expecting it. So I am trusting God and keeping fingers crossed.

@SunnyFlover I personally wouldn’t have that test done as the NHS offer a lot of tests. I suppose it is all personal choice though. Also congratulations 😊
