Just booked a scan for 23/12 I will be 6+6, I know it is early but I just want some reassurance before I tell my close family on Christmas Eve 😬

irishfarmer · 06/12/2021 16:25

@Firsttimetrier I am exhausted all the time!! I'm sleeping really well, I used to read for an hour even 2 in bed, now I barely get a page and I'm gone. I wake up a few times a night to pee tho! I'd say I'm eating well and fairly balanced, along with taking pregnacare max. There are huge hormonal changes going on in our bodies and we are creating more blood so the body is working hard!

@Rachae are EPU scanning and doing bloods that frequently? They told me to leave it at least 10 days before coming back for another scan to "give thing time to develop"

FieldView · 06/12/2021 16:26

@Firsttimetrier totally exhausted!! I'm napping well, and going off to sleep fine, but then keep waking up at my first alarm (if not before). I'm usually such a snoozer in the mornings, but not anymore!!

Just had to get up from my desk at work and walk around a bit as I was nodding at about 4pm. NOT like me at all!

Also grateful for any tips...

Due late July....quite knackered and achy, also constant nausea....I had spd and HG in first pregnancy and it looks like it might be a repeat of the same. Thank God it's winter and I can hide away under fleecy pjs of an evening.

rainbowenfysdream · 06/12/2021 17:53

Hello everyone, I'm tentatively joining if that's ok? I had a MMC at my 12 week scan on 27.09 resulting in D and C on 01.10, the pregnancy was diagnosed as a Partial molar pregnancy, but my hcg was all back to normal 2 weeks ago and testing negative three weeks ago. I've been having really sore boobs the past few days and slight cramping and some
Heart flutters which were my early symptoms last pregnancy. I started testing to check yesterday and I'm having faint positives like very faint I don't know how far along I am as I didn't track and I'm not 100% sure I've had a period since the op. If I did have a period it started on 07.11 but I'd say I ovulated late normally have 33 day cycles, I'll post my positive anyway sorry to ramble on just hoping I am pregnant and can join you all properly, good luck and congratulations to you all!

rainbowenfysdream · 06/12/2021 18:01

Sorry forgot to post the test pic

@irishfarmer I've not been to the EPU yet, mine aren't very nice! I'm under a fertility clinic for IVF/reoccurrent mc... So they're scanning me weekly. And I'm paying private for the other one the other side of the week. After 6 weeks, the embryo grows 1mm per day so you can monitor progress that way directly, and also just check the heartbeats still there. To be honest, I've had 3 scans and seen loads of progress even tho just a few days apart. Xx

Rachae · 06/12/2021 18:29

(obvs nervous as hell for tomorrow's tho. Fingers crossed there's still progress 🙈)

irishfarmer · 06/12/2021 18:45

@Rachae ah I see, thanks for the info. Sorry if I was being nosy!

Juno231 · 06/12/2021 18:52

@rainbowenfysdream ooh welcome! Looks like maybe 8-9dpo? I hope this one sticks for you

@Rachae fingers crossed for you tomorrow!

rainbowenfysdream · 06/12/2021 18:59

@Juno231 I think the same tbh and it would make sense as when we DTD too 🤞🏻 I hope so

Pheebs2021 · 06/12/2021 19:00

Hello 👋
Early July here I am 8 weeks pregnant today with a much dreamed of baby that to be honest I had given up ever having I was told I would need some treatment but didn't want to go through the pain and by some miracle I've fallen pregnant naturally :-)

Juno231 · 06/12/2021 19:06

@Pheebs2021 I think I've seen your dye stealer over at the conception board? Congratulations! Love it when infertile couples somehow manage to conceive naturally ♥️

Rachae · 06/12/2021 19:24

@irishfarmer not at all! Happy to share 😊

Pheebs2021 · 06/12/2021 19:28

Hi @Juno231 not me I couldn't bear to look at the trying for baby boards it just upset me too much. Hopefully that means another Mum to be too ❤

rose7120 · 06/12/2021 20:09

Welcome @rainbowenfysdream sounds like you've had a really difficult few months. I hope the line gets darker!

Hello @Pheebs2021 amazing! Congratulations on the miracle!

Quite tired although that might be down to work/non sleeping 2 year! Also feel pretty nauseous, but literally only in my mouth. Neck down I feel fine! Is that normal?! Really weird. I'd almost call it a mouth migraine as its just in the background, but then flares up! Feel super hungry tho!

rosewater20 · 06/12/2021 20:48

@Curlywurly3 Just read your post about your HCG results. Do you have another blood test booked? I wouldn't worry about the results of the first one, mine were around that number too with my first test but tripled with my second test. The most important thing is that your numbers are doubling every 48-72 hours. 4 weeks is very early in your pregnancy so I wouldn't expect huge numbers then, you could have just implanted. I hope you are feeling better!

Misty84 · 06/12/2021 20:52

Welcome @Pheebs2021 I also was having to accept it would never happen as we’d run out of money for more treatments, had been told we’re infertile as major problems on both sides and that was it, it was never going to happen. And now this incredible miracle 🤗🤞🙏🌈

rainbowenfysdream · 06/12/2021 21:09

Thank you @rose7120 it's been awful but Its hopefully turning around.

Curlywurly3 · 06/12/2021 21:36

@rosewater20 thank you for your message, that’s reassuring to hear! I’ve had 3 lots of blood now, 36, 76 and 153 so they are doubling every 48hrs. They have booked me in for a scan next week when I’ll be 5+4, too early to see everything but they just want to make sure it’s in the right place. I’m cramping constantly, it’s not painful but it is constant. Do you know what your progesterone level was? Mine is high at 70 but not sure what that means!

rosewater20 · 06/12/2021 21:45

@Curlywurly3 thats great news that your levels are doubling in the appropriate time frame. I am not sure about my progesterone levels. I will call tomorrow to find out. My cramping has been off and on with this pregnancy but when I had my first baby, I had constant cramping for weeks and was sure that something was wrong but all was well.

Curlywurly3 · 06/12/2021 21:52

@rosewater20 I don’t remember cramping at all with my daughter, just goes to show every pregnancy is different! I’m just taking each day as it comes. I kinda wish I hadn’t had the first blood test and I’d be none the wiser! CB digital increased to 2-3 weeks today so that’s positive!

rosewater20 · 06/12/2021 22:04

@Curlywurly3 I know what you mean. I found out I was pregnant this time around 2.5 weeks earlier than with my son and it feels so different knowing earlier because all of the tests are slightly different. Its hard because there are so many unknowns with pregnancy and so we just have to be optimistic that it all works out.

I feel like my heart rate has gone up about 10 beats per minute and that I can feel my heart beating more than normally. I do remember the increase in heart rate and I had heart palpitations with my first pregnancy and my doctor said it was normal. Is anyone else noticing anything like this?

Curlywurly3 · 06/12/2021 22:08

@rosewater20 funnily enough my Apple Watch told me my heart rate was fast yesterday! I don’t know if that’s a ‘thing’ but it’s never told me off for having an increased heart rate before!!

rosewater20 · 06/12/2021 22:15

@Curlywurly3 haha well at least I am not the only one being told off by their Apple Watch! I feel so aware of everything that is happening in my body and I get anxious at the slightest difference which probably isn't helping my heart rate!
