Hi ladies, I'd like to tentatively join you if I may? I'm only 10dpo but had a decent line on a frer today. My first ever after 2 years of ttc and unexplained infertility! I'm one of those statistics where I was meant to start IVF next month 😬

@Curlywurly3 I'm afraid it's a wait and see game but I wouldn't automatically assume a CP as your lines haven't gotten any weaker either.

strawberrysummer19 · 02/12/2021 16:17

@irishfarmer so we are quite close then. I'm 6+2 and scans at 1230 tomorrow

I have had sore boobs but nothing like in my first pregnancy and I feel so tired but not sure if that's just working from home self isolating as my daughter has Covid! Had waves of feeling sicky, have a bloat and the odd tummy ache but nothing too bad.

Just can't wait for my scan tomorrow as my clearblue digital went down Sunday so that's made me worry

@Juno231 welcome - congrats
That's amazing! X

Bloomers58 · 02/12/2021 16:21

@Curlywurly3 congrats. They look like strong lines. Much stronger than all my chemicals. Now back away from the tests. I have been obsessing over early scan results and size the past couple of days, worrying I'm losing it. But this afternoon I went for a walk, let the freezing cold wind hit me in the face and reminded myself that all we can do is breathe and hope and try to stay grounded and calm. No amount of testing or analysing will change the outcome. Be strong and breathe xx

Rachae · 02/12/2021 16:41

Hey ladies,
Mind if I tentatively join? ☺️
I'm 6 weeks 2/3 today and had a rollercoaster ride so far!

Got a scan tomorrow morning... last one was this Tuesday night where we saw a heartbeat but CRL measured either 1.6mm or 0.6mm behind.

Praying it's progressed tomorrow 🙏 today has felt like forever and I'm seriously hoping the night goes quicker. 😝

@strawberrysummer19 good luck for your scan tomorrow too! Xx

Rachae · 02/12/2021 19:02

@Bloomers58 I saw your early scan measurements request ☺️
I got scanned at either 6+ 1 or exactly 6 weeks (this Tuesday). I don't know which day I am as if I go by LMP then I was 6+1 or I go by ovulation (tracked it, day 15) then I was 6 weeks.

The CRL measured 3.4mm and so either should have been 4mm for 6 or 5mm for 6+1

Hoping to see progression at tomorrow's scan and find out the heart rate. (Hoping the heart beats still there, eek!) Xx

Bloomers58 · 02/12/2021 19:24

Hi @Rachae thanks for responding. I read 6 weeks was up to 4mm and 7 weeks was anything from 5mm to 9mm. Good luck with your next scan tomorrow. Do update if you get a chance! x

Rachae · 02/12/2021 19:26

@Bloomers58 ohh ok cool! That's different to what I read .. I thought it was 4mm at 6 weeks and then 1mm progression per day. Fingers crossed! Thanks ☺️ xx

Londonista5 · 02/12/2021 19:59

Hi guys.

What is the usual process of appointments during early pregnancy?
I got issued a date for a 12 week scan, but no appointment for bloods etc. Should I query this?

TIA x

boymummy89 · 02/12/2021 21:41

Just going to jump on here see how we all are.. According to lmp I should be 5w4d but I think I ovukated a few days later so we shall see, this is my third pregnancy and for some reason my anxiety is through the roof! I'm convinced it's all gone wrong already or actually there is nothing there ... Help 😂

MrsS11 · 02/12/2021 21:44

Londonista depends if you're consultant or midwife led but usually your midwife takes blood at the routine appointments, it isn't done separately (at my surgery anyway) and it isn't done to confirm a pregnancy just check iron etc.

TeacherMama91 · 02/12/2021 21:51

Oooo can I join too? Booked our scan today, so excited/nervous!

@Curlywurly3 Sorry to hear about your concerns! The line looks to be keeping steady over quite a few days.
With my chemical last month I had 1.5 days of faint lines, then nothing. & this time the lines are dark (not as dark as control line) and have stayed that way.
Not sure if this is helpful at all, but just sharing my experience, the pulling and cramping sounds like a great sign!
Have you had any other symptoms?

Curlywurly3 · 03/12/2021 06:25

Thank you everyone for your reassuring comments! I’m now 3 days late and I did a test this morning and it is a little darker! Darker than the tests I’ve had with the two previous CP’s. I’ve also had pregnant 1-2 weeks! I’m going to step away from the tests now (apart from one weeks indicator test I have left)
I’m 4+1 now, for those who have used a digital, when did you get your pregnant 2-3? I don’t want to waste mine and do it too early!

I was at the doctors yesterday for a chesty cough I’ve had for a few weeks (not covid!) they have given me some antibiotics but also did a blood test for me so should get the results back today.

Symptom wise, I’ve had a headache for a few days but that could be my cold! I have lower backache but I was carrying (not heavy) boxes yesterday (also could be because I’m full of a cold!) One thing which I know is definitely pregnancy related, the veins in my boobs are noticeably more prominent!

@Curlywurly3 I got my 2-3 at 4 weeks and 3+ at 5 weeks, but everyone is a bit different so just leave it a bit before testing. Veins etc are all good indications and great that your line got darker 🙂 I’m also on antibiotics for chesty cough AND a UTI- fun times!!

Misty84 · 03/12/2021 07:43

Good luck today for the first scan in the calendar @irishfarmer!

Coco9910 · 03/12/2021 07:48

@irishfarmer @strawberrysummer19 good luck with your scans today! 💕

Aims1991 · 03/12/2021 08:01

Morning everyone. I got my BFP yesterday as AF was a day late and at 9dpo. Got a BFP on CB also. So I'm over the moon as this is our first and been trying over a year. I'm just wondering how long your meant to wait before contacting GP?

Rachae · 03/12/2021 08:01

@irishfarmer @strawberrysummer19 good luck!! I also have one in about 45 mins argh! (6+3) xx

strawberrysummer19 · 03/12/2021 08:15

@Rachae nice and early ! Yay looking forward to seeing your update xx
