Tentatively joining! I got my BFP yesterday at 10DPO and the digital today, the FRER is still pretty faint though which is making me feel a little nervous. AF was due this morning (my cycles are 25 days like clockwork!)
I reeeeealllly hope it’s a darker line in the morning! 🤞🏻 Congratulations to you all on your beautiful BFP’s! ❤️

Bloomers58 · 01/12/2021 22:35

Has anyone here had an early scan? If so, would you mind sharing your measurements? I had one today thinking I was 7+2 with a 4.9mm embryo and they dated me 6+0, which is impossible. So I'm worried. Anyone got any measurements they can share yet for comparison?

Bloomers58 · 01/12/2021 22:38

@irishfarmer @FeeneeTTC @Misty84 would you mind sharing your scan measurements with me? Hoping you can give me a hopeful comparison x

FeeneeTTC · 01/12/2021 22:48

@Bloomers58 - sorry to hear your scan wasn’t as you expected or hoped for. did they give you any possible explanation or agree that you should go back again in a few days for another scan?

Bloomers58 · 01/12/2021 23:07

@FeeneeTTC no, the sonographer seemed happy with my scan despite my obvious worry that it should definitely be measuring more than 6 weeks. She said come back in 4 weeks if you want to. I actually was given a scan with EPU tomorrow and thought I'd cancel if the scan today was OK. I think 4.9mm is bigger than 6 weeks, I think the sonographer has made an error, hence me asking for comparison. I'm tempted to go tomorrow for a second opinion, but worried its too soon to rescan from a safety perspective. Any thoughts?

Danani · 01/12/2021 23:12

@Bloomers58 I haven’t had mine yet but I did read a lot on them, and please do NOT worry! It is apparently totally normal for the early scan measurement to put you a few days to even week and bit behind! Apparently measurement that early on is quite tricky, hence the difference. People usually say that by their 12 week scan they have completely caught up or are put only by a few days behind, and then by their later scans they’re spot or even a few days ahead! It seems baby does a ton of growing in those 4-5 weeks between an early scan and the 12 week one, absolutely NOTHING to worry about! From what I read, the important thing is to see a heartbeat! 💕

Danani · 01/12/2021 23:15

Oh also not an expert but I read you should leave 2 weeks between scans! If it were me, I wouldn’t do anything tomorrow, instead if you’re still worried will go again in two weeks. But honestly, if you do some Googling you’ll find tons of similar experiences and worries, yet it is totally normal. I’d be super shocked if any of our early scans dating matches our “predictions”! @Bloomers58

Misty84 · 02/12/2021 05:59

Hi @Bloomers58 sorry my early scan isn’t until the 13th. I’ve read the same as @Danani though, to leave 2 weeks between scans and also that the baby can do a lot of growing/catching up during this time! It’s natural to worry though😔 The sonographer seemed happy so maybe that means it’s ok?

rosewater20 · 02/12/2021 07:10

Hi everyone, Mind if I join? I got my BFP on Saturday and I am currently 4 weeks and 5 days. I had my 2nd HCG test today and everything seems to be progressing well. I will have another HCG test in a week and when that looks good I will book my first ultrasound.

@Londonista5 I wouldn't worry too much about your lines not progressing. I had that same worry with my First Response tests not progressing each day and convinced myself that it would be bad news but as I said above, I had my 2nd HCG test today and my levels had tripled. I won't test again (even though I have a clear blue week digital sitting in my bathroom ready to use!!) because the stress testing causes isn't worth it. Can you get your HCG levels tested for reassurance?
