@Bd1787 hi and congratulations. I’m 6 weeks today. I had regular cramping/pulling throughout my 4th week then it calmed down a bit and I just occasional stuff now including on Saturday (at 5+3) when they were really bad and I was convinced that was it, but then by the afternoon they’d eased off again. So yes, I think it’s totally normal.

FeeneeTTC · 01/12/2021 08:05

@Coco9910 I’m just taking standard pregnacare - it covers everything needed and isn’t too expensive. I couldn’t bring myself to buy a box of 75 though even though it’s better value - I just can’t convince myself yet that this pregnancy will last that long Confused - so I bought a box of 30 and told myself I’d get 75 next time if I get that far. I’m over halfway through my box of 30 now so feeling a bit more positive!

FeeneeTTC · 01/12/2021 08:08

@Mercified - congratulations, so happy for you after all that waiting! What a wonderful anniversary present! I’ve also had a long wait (5.5yrs) including 2 losses during that time, but trying to be as positive as possible and be grateful for every day I get to grow this baby.

For anyone struggling with pregnancy after loss, I started reading Pregnancy After Loss by Zoe Clark-Coats last night and it’s really good and helpful. There’s a little reading/journaling section for each day too so you can document your pregnancy.

@StartLeo I have mine next Tuesday, will be 7 weeks exactly. She’s said it’ll be around 1.5hrs, take bloods, weight, height etc and my medical history. Last time I was under a consultant as my father has diabetes, but I was discharged at 20 weeks as I was absolutely fine. Hoping I don’t need that again as my last pregnancy was perfectly fine and healthy.
I’ve also mentioned to my midwife I’m planning on the same birthing plan - home water birth 🥰

irishfarmer · 01/12/2021 09:41

@StartLeo @chloeandco I'm trying to join the FB group. When I click on the link (newest one from this morning) on my computer it just brings me to my own FB home page, on my phone is says link broken. When am I doing wrong? Confused

@mrsS21 a home water birth sounds lovely. In my case it's going to be a scheduled cesarean because of past fibroid surgery. I am nervous about the 7 week scan since last time with the MMC, the fetal growth was less than expected, by 5 days. Then of course I went on to have a MMC. So for now I will take each day and not plan too far ahead.

StartLeo · 01/12/2021 09:50

@mrsS21, just realized that I sound all doom and gloomy. I am sure your scans will go well. I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞

Coco9910 · 01/12/2021 09:51

@FeeneeTTC oh perfect! I got the leaflet our last light and read it and it includes most of what is recommended..I don’t think it has omega 3 in it through so I may get some of that. I think Boots have 3 for 2 on vitamins and supplements at the moment if you need to get more!

Thanks @chloeandco I sent a request again. I got cold feet about jinxing this little bean and left the group, but I have decided to be brave and rejoin.

eekness · 01/12/2021 10:14

Mrsacemay · 01/12/2021 11:52

Hi everyone, tentatively joining you after a very faint positive at 10dpo this morning, due the 9th August all being well 🙂

Bd1787 · 01/12/2021 12:41

Thanks for the reassurance @FeeneeTTC it's so hard knowing what's normal and what isn't when it's the first time.

Congrats @Mrsacemay I got my first positive around 10dpo too, it this your first?

FeeneeTTC · 01/12/2021 13:31

@feeneeTTc Thanks. It has really made my home a happier one. I'm sorry about your losses and all you had to go through. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Don't stop being positive. Our babies have come to stay.

Mercified · 01/12/2021 14:02

@mrsacemay Congratulations

Mrsacemay · 01/12/2021 16:34

Thanks everyone! It's my third so I should probably know what I'm doing but nope, I've spent most of the day googling every scenario and symptom 😁

Danani · 01/12/2021 16:42

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well!

I don’t have FB so can’t join you there but I hope you don’t all abandon me and still come in here every once in a while! 👋

I’m 5+5 today. Feeling fine, no symptoms other than sore boobs.

I did book my Early Scan with Window to the Womb today! And I thought we can have a little calendar with everyone’s scans coming up as I know I’m not the only one doing one early!
Please if you feel like it, add to the below when you’re going and how far along will you be!

Early Scan Calendar:
18/12 - @Danani*, 8+1
