Any ivf pregnancies ?

I'm only 6+2 and super paranoid about absolutely everything. Had my fet on the 28/09, it was our second fet after the first one failed, I had bleeding before I even got to the otd. My scan is this Thursday and it's fair to say I'm bricking it.

Would be nice to chat with some ladies who've done ivf, I have been keeping an eye on the June 2022 thread but sometimes I find I can't relate.

So my little girl (10) has tested positive for Covid ! We both did pcr yesterday as she was sent home from school poorly
Mine was negative but now so worried x

Update: just had both my midwife appointments this week. Couldn't get my bloods taken as she couldn't find my veins (this is quiet common with me). So I have to go to the hospital at my own convenience to get it done. I still don't know when my 12week scan will be but hopefully before end of December as I'm 9weeks today.

So tonight I've been feeling nauseas which has pretty much been on and off since I got my first bfp. DH decided for us to go food shopping and we picked takeaway on the way back home. We finished eating it and literally 10mins later for the first time in this pregnancy I threw up. Good thing is I feel much better now, but regret the wasted money on the takeaway.

Try not to panic @strawberrysummer19. Many people who get it have no symptoms at all if vaccinated.

@Monday55 why did you have 2 midwife appointments? I'm 8+4 today which mean I'm 12 weeks 21/12 so hoping to have my scan this side of Christmas 🤞

@CycleGirl20 congrats on your beta. Do you have a repeat to check progression or were your clinic happy with that?

@strawberrysummer19 hope your continue to test negative.

@Holskey I think it's protocol in some areas. First one was a video call appointment which was an hour of questions to see whether it's a high risk pregnancy or not and they also assessed my mental health state which was more questions.

2nd appointment was in person whereby they do blood test, blood pressure, urine samples etc

@Monday55 ah okay, that makes sense. Mine's next Thursday and they'll do it all face-to-face, assuming nothing changes between now and then 🤞

Hi everyone, I’m so glad I found this thread! Feeling very anxious. I’m 5 + 1 today, this is my first pregnancy ever and our 3rd cycle of IVF. During week 4 I had a few symptoms like pain in my boobs and some twinges around the womb area, but in the last couple of days they have all gone away so that has worried me.

I’ve got my 7 week scan at my fertility clinic in 2 weeks but I couldn’t wait that long so also booked a scan at a local place at 6 weeks!

I’d like to get some bloods done to see if my HCG is rising as normal but my clinic don’t seem to do them as a matter of course, they just have you do a home test and then book you for a 7 week scan. Did anyone just arrange for bloods to be done regardless? I’ve taken about 6 tests so far because so worried something will go wrong.

I'm 5+5 and I've tested 4 times
One a day before otd then otd then again mid week and I have a digital left over
I had beta the Monday after Fridays otd and for me I feel reassured for a few days then left thinking my scan is so far away, shall I re rest?! But try not to.

I have had little symptoms- twinges and dull ache in belly
I was very bloated and feel constipated
Boobs feel sore on and off but nothing too bad
None of my symptoms are too bad and that does worry me but I know some people done get them too bad and i know it's still early days I guess so you're not alone
My scan isn't until 8 wks but I think I will wait

Congratulations @HopeSpringsEternal123! 🥳 You've certainly waited long enough. My clinic booked my scan for 8 weeks and I thought I would wait it out, but in the end I had such bad morning sickness that I needed to see it was worthwhile and not a molar pregnancy or blighted ovum. I had a private scan at 7 weeks (I'm 8+5 now). I'm glad I did it and it didn't make my clinic scan less special 🙂

@makeithappen2022, @tinyhappypeople, @AMN3000 you should find some familiar names here from the IVF/FET thread 🙂 (I don't think I've tagged any of you before but apologies if I have.)

I'm so upset, I've just done another digital and I know I said I wouldn't test again but I've had a stomach ache and thought it's down to constipation!

I'm 5+5 today and got 3+ on digital Thursday but today showing 2-3weeks!!!

This is not good is it and I know these aren't reliable but still this isn't good news 😥😥😥

@HopeSpringsEternal123 welcome! I had my scan at 7+3weeks I think they prefer to do them after 7weeks as you're guaranteed to see a heartbeat. At 6weeks it's 50/50

@strawberrysummer19 you may have reached the hook effect stage when your HCG is too high for in-store pregnancy tests.

I am 10dp5dt and have been testing since day 4 . Getting nice strong lines now, but tomorrow is OTD so going to get bloods then. I think I’ve worked out I’m 4+1 although not sure if I can officially say I’m pregnant until tomorrow . This was an FET after a failed fresh transfer in the summer, and am doing it alone as a solo mum.

@Monday55 thank you, I really do hope so, even though I'm only 5+5? I'm not sure if I should test again or not?

Hi everyone, today was my otd and I held out to test. We got our BFP! On cloud 9 at the moment and I am 4+4 today 🥰
Next steps is to call the clinic tomorrow and I get a first scan at 6 weeks and then one at 8 x

@strawberrysummer19 they're not reliable! There are so many stories about this, one on this thread just the other day when it was wrong, and just because it was right for you the other day doesn’t mean it's right now. You took it just now, not fmu or anything? How long a hold? How bad is your stomach ache?

@Tinyhappypeople Well done doing it on your own. I met my partner quite late (after already knowing I had fertility problems) and I'd love to think I'd have done it alone if I hadn't met him. Oh and you're officially pregnant the second you test positive!

@makeithappen2022 Well done on holding out until OTD! I believe it's quite rare 😂. Your clinic offers two scans?

@Holskey ah ok, I didn't even want a digital - but 2 came in a pack when I thought it was the standard one! So no it wasn't my fmu at all and I've drank loads this morning as usual so do feel a bit silly!
I suppose I'm concerned as I don't have many symptoms and this ache this morning, like a dull
Ache all over my bloated belly - I'm very constipated so hopefully it's that x

@strawberrysummer19 a dull ache sounds more like constipation than a miscarriage, I think. And if you've drank loads this morning, then that's a decent explanation! Are you going to test again?

@Holskey yes I think I’m one of only a few that waited. I was too scared to see a negative.
Yes they give two scans but don’t do bloods which I think is the reason for the 6 week one and then 8 weeks seems pretty standard and takes me to just before Christmas.
