Any ivf pregnancies ?

I'm only 6+2 and super paranoid about absolutely everything. Had my fet on the 28/09, it was our second fet after the first one failed, I had bleeding before I even got to the otd. My scan is this Thursday and it's fair to say I'm bricking it.

Would be nice to chat with some ladies who've done ivf, I have been keeping an eye on the June 2022 thread but sometimes I find I can't relate.

@CycleGirl20 how many did you have transferred? It’s very very rare that they split after the blastocyst stage but I guess you never know!

@paintfairy @strawberrysummer19 so technically we’ve only had sex a couple times since the transfer, but one of my weird pregnancy symptoms (TMI sorry but while we are on the subject) is that I have sleep orgasms pretty much every other night and I can’t stop them. They were painful at first, period pain x 10, so I was paranoid and like you I googled and saw about the contractions etc, and was worried as I could do nothing to stop them. Now obviously having the scan today it seems to have made no difference to baby, however it’s definitely what you feel comfortable with! I think given a choice I wouldn’t have wanted to have sex/orgasms until the first scan for sure x

@Frenchie86 it was only a single. Glad it's unlikely to be twins.

@Porridgeislife mine was a slow growing blastocyst too which can means girl. It looks like my HCG might be on the higher side too. Maybe it is a girl!

@CycleGirl20 I've attached mine from 11dp5dt, but I guess with hcg doubling approx every 2 days, it's difficult to judge against. Mine implanted earlier this time than with my first, so it could just be that. (I also read that girls implant sooner on the whole, but the difference will likely be v small.)

@Frenchie86 mine was really cute too! I would've posted a picture but I wouldn't want to upset or trigger anyone. Big head which was distinct from the body and you can make out little arms too! 😍

I found this picture of what babies at 6 weeks look like! That'll be mine in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited. Little dragon baby.

@paintfairy haha I know, hardly the worst symptom but the pain of it woke me up at first, much nicer now 😅

Well according to my app, this is what babies look like at 8 weeks (I'm 8+2 now @CycleGirl20) but I find most people (including me!) have been surprised by how baby-like they look so early 😍🥰 I guess we don't see many 8-week scans until we have them ourselves.

@paintfairy I have a digital weeks indicator coming today - just curious as to what weeks would it show? I see you got 3wks pls
I wouldn't want to worry if I saw anything less but I suppose that's possible. I do have the normal test too so can do both but wondering if now would be too early for the 3 wks bearing in mind I'm only a day behind you?

@strawberrysummer19 the weeks is from conception. So 3 weeks after EC should technically show 3+. I just waited an extra 2 days to be sure.

So I'm three weeks EC from Tuesday just gone so fingers crossed I should see 3+

I'm tracking my package and it's coming between 1-3!! Working from home so I'm going to test !

Ladies- anyone on progesterone- how long before you stop it? My clinic are planning on stopping it at 8 weeks. And the thought of this scares me? Is 8 weeks late enough?

@paintfairy I'm on utrogestan 600 my day and my clinic make you stay on it until 12 weeks x

I guess I just wanted to see the 3+ yay x

@paintfairy my clinic also say stop at 8 weeks but I've heard about the stopping at 12 from other people. It's given me the fear too!

anyone else get random... not cramping, but ovarian pain and lower back pain? I'm sure it's perfectly normal at 4+6 but I'm freaking out over everything at the moment (despite dye stealers and no spotting). How am I meant to get through ~250 days of this??

I had period pains in both my pregnancies early on @TheSnufflet. I also had ovary pain in this one which I contacted the gp about approx 5wks. She wasn't concerned because there was no bleeding and the pain wasn't bad. Naturally I worried, but it turned out to be nothing. I still have a little ovary pain now but forgot to ask my clinic to check on it! Probably just a follicle/ small cyst.

Mines more of a dull ache and a fullness feeling actually but put that down to the growing I guess? X

Thanks @Holskey and @strawberrysummer19, I'm glad it's not just me! it's generally a dull ache, feels like I might come on (and TMI, but I am having a ton of discharge like I'm ovulating right now, it's so weird??) so I'm literally convinced everything is going wrong until I go to the loo and wipe and everything is okay.. I've also had ovarian cysts in the past so it's probably just that. I've taken some paracetamol and am attempting to chill out!
