Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hello,

I just found out I’m pregnant again (very early days, 4w today). I had a mmc back in April which was diagnosed at almost 12 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks and then I fell pregnant again but had a natural mc at 5+5.
This time I am taking progesterone pessaries and aspirin. Anyone else pregnant after a loss? I’m so scared about mmc but trying to relax as much as possible.

Hi ladies, I’m ok, 15 weeks on Monday and I’ve convinced myself that I’m not actually pregnant anymore as all my old symptoms have gone. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This in between bit is scary and then the third trimester is scary due to kick counting, how are you supposed to enjoy pregnancy?! I keep almost fainting too which is annoying when I’m supposed to be keeping mobile. I hope everyone else is doing ok? Xx

@OnceUponAThread Good luck for your scan - I was so anxious for mine but did feel a little relief after..... I'm ok Thankyou - nausea is kicking my ass but otherwise good 😊 xxx

@Loulou237 Other than intermittent brutal nausea all my other symptoms have disappeared too - everyone keeps reassuring me it's because placenta has taken over so less pressure on my body. The fainting sounds awful! My colleague at work is 16 weeks and having the same problem - I really feel for you xxx

I too am worrying a bit about lessened symptoms. Thinking the worst and all that.... However, I've still got quite a lot of CM every day which is a good sign at this stage of 9.5 weeks

@susiebluebell 9ish weeks was when mine started to change with my daughter, try not to worry although it’s so difficult!!

@SRLaycock thank you, I’m using it as an excuse to sit down a lot haha. I hope the nausea lets up soon it’s the worst xxx

@OnceUponAThread what day is your scan? I was sure you’d already had it, I don’t know why I must have got you mixed up with somebody. Good luck with it and I’m sure everything will be perfect, you can breathe a big sigh of relief xxx

@@Loulou237 I had a private one at 10 weeks, so maybe thinking of that?

It's on Thursday. I'm so so so nervous. Especially because I still don't really have any symptoms which is messing with my head.

Hopefully all will be well and I can try and relax a bit. 😬

@OnceUponAThread I’m so sorry you’re feeling so nervous. I know it probably won’t help but try and think of the statistics like one of the ladies has said before, now you have seen everything at ten weeks it is very unlikely things will go wrong in those two weeks. It’s easy for me to say these things but I felt the same as you did for my 12 week scan, and then thought I would relax after as it was after that milestone. I haven’t relaxed at all, I think it’s even got worse as all of my nausea has disappeared so sometimes I don’t even feel pregnant anymore. It’s just a whole load of worry so I’m trying to just not think about it at all

Thanks @Loulou237 I talk myself out of it, thinking I don't feel pregnant at all, but in reality I'm pretty moody, my boobs hurt and still loads of CM as I said! So I probably am...

12 week scan letter arrived - just a couple of weeks away! 😬

30 weeks and 2 days today.

Because baby is growing on 10th percentile, I had a LV and Doppler scan today. Everything looks normal, water levels and blood flow between placenta and baby are fine.

Anyone else super itchy? I know it's so weird and such a random thing to ask! I know it's not obstetric cholestasis as my LFT's are fine and I have no other symptoms of it but I am so itchy it's driving me mad!!! Xxx

@SRLaycock being itchy was one of my first symptoms it’s so annoying isn’t it! Totally normal though xxx

@SRLaycock I was quite itchy for a couple of weeks a little while ago, but just put it down to dry skin. I have noticed my skin has really gone dry, but now that I think about this the itchiness has stopped anyway!

@Loulou237 Yep the 2nd trimester is hard! It's meant to be the nicest because symptoms get much better and energy levels return, but you're not too big to be uncomfortable yet, but in reality it's just the time when you stop feeling pregnant! I was really nervous before our private gender scan at 17 weeks because of that but all was fine anyway! And of course, then the nausea returned for some stupid reason and I've now noticeably got bigger, so I guess I'm still pregnant! I'm now 19 weeks.

@GinnyBee My skin doesn't seem to be dry just ridiculously itchy! Glad it's subsided for you though as it's driving me bonkers! Xxx

Thanks @GinnyBee I’m glad it isn’t just me feeling like this! I still feel pretty uncomfortable actually so I guess that’s a sign in itself.

Congratulations 19 weeks almost halfway!! I’m 15+3 can’t wait for the gender scan and the anomaly one to be out the way now really

I've just been for a private scan and the baby died 2 weeks ago making this my 3rd MMC.
