Hello,

I just found out I’m pregnant again (very early days, 4w today). I had a mmc back in April which was diagnosed at almost 12 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks and then I fell pregnant again but had a natural mc at 5+5.
This time I am taking progesterone pessaries and aspirin. Anyone else pregnant after a loss? I’m so scared about mmc but trying to relax as much as possible.

Hey back from my scan with the shittest news. Baby has a heartbeat but it's slow and hasn't grown. It's not going to survive but until the heart stops we can't do anything so I need to go back on Monday and hope the heart has stopped otherwise I've to go on Friday and just keep going until it dies pretty much. Life is shit sometimes. I guess this is where I leave you all. I really hope you have healthy, happy pregnancies and wish you all so much luck xx

Loulou237 · 26/11/2021 11:42

Hi ladies, so I’m 11+1 and I woke up to a small amount of dark brown blood when wiping and I’m freaking out. Can’t get a scan til Monday. Had scans at 7 and 9 weeks showing a correctly measuring baby with flickering heartbeat. Blood has gone now but feel a bit achey. Just would like to hear some positive stories even tho I’m not feeling very positive right now xxx

GinnyBee · 27/11/2021 09:51

@Loulou237 I know any bleeding is always stressful but generally a bit of brown is more often nothing, it's old blood, not a new fresh bleed. Could just be from your cervix, the increased blood flow during pregnancy makes it more sensitive. Can't you get a private scan last minute? Monitor it, hopefully it'll stop and as long as you're not in pain then there's no reason to think anything is wrong :)

Loulou237 · 27/11/2021 10:34

@GinnyBee thank you so much for your kind words Smile it’s stopped already and as there’s nothing they could do anyway I’m happy (bad choice of words!) to wait til Monday. Especially as I was thinking if it is bad news I don’t want to have to pay £100 to hear it. So just sitting tight and trying to be positive. Thanks so much you’re totally right. I also just read that the placenta implants at this point so could be something to do with that. 🤞🏻 Xxx

Oti21 · 27/11/2021 14:52

@Loulou237 I’ve bled twice last at 9.5 weeks and I had a quick scan on Thursday for my progesterone prescription and baby was all ok, measuring right on 12 weeks. Have my actual 12 week scan on Monday. It’s easier said than believed but my EPU keep telling me bleeding isn’t always a sign of miscarriage. Mine was a cervical erosion. xx

Loulou237 · 27/11/2021 15:49

Thank you @Oti21 that does put my mind to rest but I guess will have to wait and see. Xxx

Oti21 · 29/11/2021 12:19

Had my dating scan today. Measured 13 weeks and due date given as the 6th June, ahead of what I thought. We weren’t going to tell people till 16 weeks but now I think we will... Are you all thinking of letting people know after 12 weeks or waiting a bit longer? x

SRLaycock · 29/11/2021 13:16

@Oti21 Great news! How're you feeling? Was the scan amazing???

We are planning on telling people after 12 weeks, our immediate family and closest friends already know but other than that it's a total secret xxx

GinnyBee · 29/11/2021 13:24

@Oti21 We've been telling people after the 12 week scan. Just those we speak to though, I'm not going to do a public announcement at any stage.

Loulou237 · 29/11/2021 13:35

@Oti21 congratulations! That’s amazing news. We’re going to tell people now, I had my scan this morning and all looking good and measuring over 12 weeks. Yes there’s still a risk but it really plummets after 12 weeks so I’m going to try and relax and enjoy it now Confused

GinnyBee · 29/11/2021 13:38

Awesome news @Loulou237 congratulations!

Dprndje · 29/11/2021 13:49

Congratulations everyone on their positive scans 😍🙌🏽 I am not 💯 on how far along I am I think about 5 weeks. We still have a little while to go for a scan boo 😒 my stomach the past few days is bloated from nothing. My last pregnancy was triplets (we were on cloned etc we aren’t this time) so I’m wondering if it’s more than one again or it’s normal to be this bloats at 5 weeks? Would love some opinions 🙏💜xxx

Dprndje · 29/11/2021 13:49

That should say we were on clomid 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Oti21 · 29/11/2021 14:08

Thanks everyone and congratulations @Loulou237!!

We won’t put it on Instagram etc either have just been to tell our parents.

@SRLaycock yes it was amazing, so clear and reassuring and the pictures are very clear too, she said baby was very well behaved. Booked a gender scan for Christmas Eve 😬

@Dprndje my stomach hasn’t really changed at 13 weeks so could well be more than one! I think bloating is quite normal too. I have just bought some maternity leggings though as my jeans are quite uncomfortable.
