I got a lovely dye stealer this morning and I am so chuffed! After a CP in July, seeing that beautiful first line so dark is giving me great hope.

Anyone else 5 weeks? How are you feeling?

Good luck with your scan today @charlotte0808 I’m 11+3 now! Eeekk! Yea lots boards do things differently re bloods and appts, if worries though just speak to midwife and I’m sure she’ll explain :)

@AR21 we’ll see what I end up doing , no doubt it will go to pot lol but it will be lovely to tell them with either way! Hopefully just another few weeks for you and you’ll start to turn a corner ?

Aww @Snoopy28x a Brussels sprout 🤣 still so small isn’t it lol! How are you feeling now? Can’t believe the 12 wk mark is just around the corner for so many of us now! Can’t wait to start seeing our scan pics rolling in :)

Oh lovely @babyboybluex 😍 what a cute little bump! I keep looking at my belly and I’m Defos more rounded and everything feels thicker lol but as it’s my first I wonder if I’ll be another few weeks? Right now I think it’s all the carbs I’m consuming :/ xx

@babyboybluex ha wow! Loving the bump! I'll try and get a pic of mine tonight for you! My scan will be 10th Nov so I'll be 12+6 by then x

@Blondiebrownie6 I know it's going quick now! Yeah feeling better about things. I think partly because dh hasnt really said much about the situation because he tends to be guarded until the scan, as we have had so many heart aches. The first hit him really hard. He has started mentioning it more now so I think we are both feeling more positive xx

@Blondiebrownie6 Thank you lovely! Have been looking online for some maternity clothes already With my first I didn't really show until 16 weeks but everyone is different - you will soon have that bump!! x

Hi all had my scan today all went well measuring at 10 week 1 day I thought I was 10 +3 but she said it changes before 12 week scan it's 32.8mm which is right and good heartbeat x

Seen jumping about and moving feet and arm it's crazy x

Booking appointment went well yesterday and I didn't faint during the bloods which was a pleasant surprise!

I know it's been done to death but does anyone have any suggestions for nausea?? The last week it's been just awful and I'm really struggling. I didn't really have it in either of my other two pregnancies so I haven't worked out what works for me yet. Also, has it started to fade for anyone further along than me (I'm 8 weeks)? I need hope this will end!

@LadyoftheWoods I didnt find anything helped the nausea! If I ate it would stop for 5mins then be back. If I didn't eat I'd feel sick.. ready salted pringles made it better for a while. However probably not a long term solution lol! Someone here recommended the travel sick bands. Maybe you could try that? My sick feeling actually stopped about 10 ish weeks. I never had it with my previous pregnancys so I wasn't expecting it!! Its awful isnt it xx

@LadyoftheWoods I found a glass of lemonade worked and just eating smaller meals more regularly across the day before the hunger kicked in - I found this made my nausea worse. My nausea stopped just before 11 weeks so there is an end in sight to it all! Rest as much as you can and don't feel guilty for it! Hope you feel better soon x

@Snoopy28x yer I can imagine it’s tough. I think that’s a man thing, my partner has been the same and keeping guarded. Glad your OH is talking though , they need to get things of their chest but often just fester on
Their own thoughts. 12 wk scan countdown is on so hopefully it begins to feel a bit more real next week.

I know @babyboybluex can’t wait to have a little bump showing, I’m hoping by the time I go home for Xmas I’ll be showing and I’ll at least look pregnant rather than just bloated lol although I’m sure there will be some

You’re right in the thick of it @LadyoftheWoods :( hopefully you’ll start turning a corner soon but probs another few weeks yet but again it can vary for all. I just had a lot of toast or crumpets when feeling like that. I struggled with liquids (still am a bit now tbh) but found fizzy juice helped , Fanta or lemonade were preferred. And like the ladies above trying to eat often to keep the hunger sickness at bay xx

@Blondiebrownie6 well last night we had a chat. I asked if hes happy about the baby. He said hes over the moon, he said hes even been thinking who can be god parents 🥰 I said I just worried because he doesnt talk about it much, he said he is excited and happy. So I feel better about things now. We even threw a few name ideas about. Planned what we will do with the bedrooms etc. As it's only 3 bed. Seems more real now! We both admitted to being a bit scared but happy xx

I'm 10+1 and despite my repeated announcements that im feeling unwell, my husband keeps trying to touch my stomach which makes me feel more sick 🤢. I get he's excited but boundaries! Time for touching is over, now it's time for me to eat dry crackers in my jammies and watch the Simpsons.

Yeah I'm not keen on touching of the tummy, sometimes I dont mind other times I just feel so bleugh and bloated it makes me feel worse lol like yesterday we had been at 2 halloween parties and I had a dress up dress on and we had pizza and by 7.30 I was so grumpy bloated and uncomfortable!! Dh didn't get why I nearly vomited at the mere mention of food lol I couldn't wait to get home and in baggy pjs!!

@Tofu35 that really made me chuckle! I know exactly what you mean, I had an absolute meltdown yesterday because I was wearing tights and they were round my tummy face palm

The nausea has been really bad this week, no sickness but just constant feeling sick, not helped by having a total inability to sleep past 2.30am despite being pooped. At 10 weeks today I am so excited to hit week 11 and fingers crossed start to feel better. Does anyone else suffer with the sleep issue? Xx

@ar21 I usually wake up at 4 then can't sleep until 630. Part of me thinks I should embrace the new wake up routine/timezone but I'm so desperate to sleep again! Let's see what my body thinks of the clocks going back...dreading it!

Just got home from A+E had a big gush of bright red blood never had it before really scary. Womb is still closed but would be hopefully can have a scan tomorrow have no idea if baby is ok or not x

Thanks for all your sickness suggestions! I found the fizzy drinks help but also make me super bloated. I think at the moment I'm willing to make that trade!

I can't sleep either! I wake up at 4am then I'm tossing and turning, absolute nightmare!

Hey just had the scan baby is fine measuring 11 weeks 2 days so caught up a lot good heartbeat no reason for bleed either she said it could be womb stretching but baby is fine so thats main thing xx
