Anyone else 5 weeks pregnant?

I got a lovely dye stealer this morning and I am so chuffed! After a CP in July, seeing that beautiful first line so dark is giving me great hope.

Anyone else 5 weeks? How are you feeling?

@charlotte0808 I have my 28 week growth scan friday so I'll let you know what they say. I'll ask what the normal is and see if I can find out for you.

I had my midwife app today and listened to the heart beat which was lovely. I've been referred to physio as I've got the hideous Pelvic Girdle pain. She advises me not to walk far, I said i do 10mins to school and 10mins back. She wasnt to happy but said that should be ok, as long as when I get home I rest for half an hour. The same between any activities. No lifting etc.. its gonna be a long and frustrating 12 weeks! X

@Snoopy28x My appointment was cancelled for today but didn't tell me but they squeezed me in luckily so I found he rushed doing the scan and didn't give me any pics either which I thought you always get. I got a 4d booked for Thursday happy I had that now. He wasn't very helpful today. Yeah that be best let me know 😊 the midwife did say it's all great she's just low down and I'll probs go early. That don't sound good 🙈 hopefully will ease for you xx

@charlotte0808 honestly I feel like I'm hobbling about. I sort of waddle now because I get pains in the tops of my legs, pelvis and back. So it hurts to move my legs. My back aches. Feel very fed up lol trying to rest as much as I can but easier said than done hey!

Oh that's rubbish that it was so rushed! They should still spend the time to do things properly. Yea good you have another one Thursday! X

How would you have that pain then cause the baby's position isit? Xx

The pain is due to the ligaments loosening in pregnancy but the pelvis loosens to much and moves to freely. So it grinds hurts. It's like an awful stabbing pain in the top of the legs, pelvic area, hips back.. just hurts lol

So I has my growth scan today. My baby is currently 2lbs 9oz. She said it's on the higher side but still within normal range. She said I've got extra fluid which could indicate gestational diabetes. So I've got that test in a week. Apart from that all is looking good. Next scan at 31 weeks to check the placenta location and growth etc.

Brill looks like a little chunk lol. They said my fluid was a little high 7.2 had my diabetic screening. Ever since I had it been ill throat is in bits. Think it's because the drink is full of sugar and my throat was dry take water with you for soon as you finish. X

@charlotte0808 thanks for the tip! Yeah she also freaked me out when she said baby has a good sized head.. I gave her a wide eyed look. She said oh I mean normal not big lol!

Was your diabetes test ok or do you not have the results yet? X

I'm 28 weeks 1 day and baby head measuring 29 weeks but didn't say anything about it my friend is due in 11 days and baby's belly is measuring 5 weeks different than the head so I think there must be a scope for what they call normal. She said if negative result you'll know on your next midwife appointment if positive they will let you know earlier. I was expecting a small medication cup to drink of that glucose stuff but it was a takeaway coffee cup and got to drink it in front of them so I downed it 😂 sorry after only today my throat is feeling abit better it was instant when I drank it I felt ill did read a few post people felt the same after it xx

I had 4d scan yesterday and they couldn't get over how chubby her cheeks are 😂💖

Hope everyone is keeping well! 29 weeks tomorrow and time is flying. It's my partners birthday today so we got a 4D scan after a lovely brunch - will post the pictures. He is too cute 😂💙

Lovely scan pics ladies! 😍 I was hoping to get a pic at my 28 week one but baby was laying with its back to her lol which seems its favourite position.

It lays diagonally bum at the bottom and head at the top. It pushes out sometimes and my bump stings! I'm massive already.. 12 more weeks.. 😳 x

Hey ladies, how are you all doing?

I'm now aneamic, my levels have dropped dramatically according to my midwife. Also I am developing gestational diabetes 😨 I had my test yesterday and nearly passed out in the waiting room. I had to ask for somewhere to lie down. I went all hot and tunnel vision and dizzy. Was awful! I knew that probably wasn't a good sign lol

So I'm feeling tired and fed up. Counting down the weeks xx

Oh no @Snoopy28x! That sounds tough and a lot to deal with. I hope you're feeling better now? Have you had the diagnosis of GB? Sending hugs your way! Will it affect when you give birth etc?

I'm doing well, baby is super active and getting stronger as the weeks go on. 31 weeks on Monday, where is the time going?! We got the SnuzPod recently and went for the iCandy double pram (loving it as a single for our son just now). It is super smooth haha!

Will start thinking about packing that hospital bag around 33/34 weeks, although, with our first I was still chucking things in mid early labour!! Hoping to avoid that this time

@babyboybluewithnumbertwox feeling a bit overwhelmed and fed up. I've been reading the things I can eat, plus my best friend has given me tips. Still seems a scary prospect. I felt totally wiped out all night and still today a bit. Only just had breakfast as I wasnt sure what to eat lol although after speaking to the diabetic nurse she said i still need carbs so to just portion control them and lots of protein and veggies. So trying to work out some meals and go shopping so ive got more options. It seems its better to eat small and often. So I'll have to get into that routine. Gagging for a can of coke 🤣🤣 yes the midwife rang with my result this morning. I've got to test my blood sugar 4 times a day.

Aww its exciting starting to get things! I still havent got anything sorted! As we have alot of stuff from the other 2. I do need to start thinking about my hospital bag and getting bits together for that. I want to get new sleepsuits, dummies etc.. I really want to breast feed this time but I will get bottles just incase. I have a sterilised that a friend gave me. Just need a moses basket or might try a next to me type one this time.

Yes baby is so wriggly! You can see it kicking tummy is always wriggling about. I've manages to get into a comfy position for sleeping so managing to catch up on sleep which is nice. I've just had a cold which seems to be turning sinus infection again 😒 so hoping that goes away so I dont need antibiotics!

They have said they will offer to induce at 38 weeks but that is due to my age, but not sure I want that.. but I guess when it gets to 38 weeks I might feel differently lol!! Xx

@babyboybluewithnumbertwox 7 weeks Friday for me.. eek! I am so ready for this baby to come out now lol I'm so uncomfortable! Having GD is miserable I cant eat all the yummy stuff I want to! Baby is estimated... 10lbs at term 😬 so hoping for an earlier arrival lol

We have 0 names here! Plus we dont know if it's a boy or girl. We keep bouncing ideas about but nothing has stuck yet. Going to start getting the baby stuff sorted this weekend, get the car seat down and cleaned, need to get making some lists for my hospital bag and stuff to buy. Feeling unorganised! Xx

Hey all good here too. Baby weighing 4.4 at 32 weeks scan told me midwife after scan told me was under weight but consultant said not to listen and she's perfectly fine so I'm not concerned. We have a name Libee 💖 xx

@charlotte0808 aww I love the name!! Mine at 31 weeks is 4lbs 7oz which is still within the normal range but at the highest end 🙄

Hi ladies, just checking in. How are you all doing?

I'm 34 weeks today and thoroughly fed up lol had my scan today and baby is 6lbs 8oz... 😐 so estimated 10lb 5oz at term. So they are scanning me again at 37 weeks and then will make the call if I'm going to be induced.. chances are I will at 38 weeks.

Feeling a bit nervous about it all. I've got most of babies stuff sorted and getting my hospital bag sorted just incase!! Xx

Oh wow hello big bubba I bet that was crazy to hear!! Hopefully you get a better understanding in weeks to come... you could literally have your baby SO soon! Ahhhhhh.

I'm doing really well and 35 weeks on Monday. Hospital bag is packed and just getting excited now! Starting to feel more tired, although working fulltime with a toddler is a blame for that haha. Excited to finish up and relax before the little man joins us.

I honestly can't get over how quickly the time has gone! It feels like yesterday that I first made this thread!! xx

@babyboybluewithnumbertwox I know its flown!! People keep telling me oh it's not long.. I give them the have you seen the size of me look! Ha I cant wait to meet this little person that's been causing me all the grief. They almost put me on medication for the diabetes to because of babies size but I've so far manages to control it with diet so they are letting me carry on like that. Yeah hopefully 4 weeks to go!!!

I bet your exhausted. I'm finding it harder with it being school holidays I have both mine home all day and no energy. Do you have a birth plan? I really would love water birth but I dont think that will be an option because of the monitoring they will need to do. X
