I got a lovely dye stealer this morning and I am so chuffed! After a CP in July, seeing that beautiful first line so dark is giving me great hope.

Anyone else 5 weeks? How are you feeling?

Makes me think every time the stress and heartache how much more I can take but when you see baby on screen you realise it's worth it all ❤️

5+6 here too. Have an early scan a week today as had a lot of bleeding 😰

@ar21 yeah I struggle with sleep. I've been going to bed at 8.30pm! To give me a fighting chance. Then I wake up I stopped looking st the time because its depressing lol then I need a wee. Then get back in bed and lay there for ages! Frustrating isnt it! When you need sleep the most!

I'm so bloated today, I'm right there with you on the tight things round your tummy! I cant stand it! Need to get some maternity over the bump leggings. I've got some Jean's but then they annoy me because they are tight round my ankles haha cant win! Xx

@Snoopy28x I'd love to be one of those women where pregnancy makes you glow differently but seriously no joke I have gone grey at the top of my head through the stress 😂 x

12+1 weeks and got a stinking cold! Do these bugs ever stop? I swear every week we have something new in our household 🤧

On a positive note, Friday at 8.50am is our 12 week scan!! Seeing me through this week 💪🏼

I am so grateful for this thread and the other one I'm on, today when I wiped there was a small amount of pink/brown on the tissue. I would normally have started spinning out with worry but thanks to the wise women on here- I'm thinking its likely normal. Tiny amount and not bright red. I'll watch over the next few days and will call midwife if it changes!

@Tofu35 2 nights ago I have bright red bleeding and it was a lot couldn't control it had a scan yesterday and baby is still fine. Obviously still a massive worry but suppose every woman is different and things can actually be normal x

So glad your scan was okay @charlotte0808. This thread has definitely shown me how common bleeding is in the first trimester. And that this isn't always a sign of something "wrong".

@Tofu35 if it reassures you at all, I've had random very light pink then brown spotting the last few weeks. It will happen out of no where then vanish then maybe a week later again once. I to think its normal xx

@babyboybluex eurgh.. I'm with you on the germs! My dc have had a different cold, illness every week since starting back in sept! Its horrendous. I hoped half term would be a break but no they both had sore throats.. now I've had it. 🤪

@babyboybluex yeah all good here. Although the last 2 days I've had really bad wind!!! 🙈 also having to wee 3 or 4 times a night is driving me slightly doolally lol

My scan still seems ages away!!! Next weds. I think I have to go to the consultant afterwards? Not sure though how that bit works xx

Aw @charlotte0808 you’ve really been through the wars! Sound scary what happened but so glad all is ok and baby is cooking away nicely!

@AR21 and @Tofu35 hopefully you start to turn a corner soon in the sickness , although I’m 12+2 and the waves of nausea have returned these past few days although In the morning now but I think I’ve sussed it’s my breakfast which is quite sweet and is making me queasy so back to savoury for a while! My energy is starting to come back which is good though!

Tomorrow!! I’ve had a lot going on this past week so I’ve not had too much time to dwell on it which is good but now it’s tomorrow! I’m nervous but praying for the best! I’ve defs had some symptoms still which is reassuring but I am feeling better than I was which is normal for this stage! How about you? I cut my finger open last night in an evening course I do and had blood gushing everywhere, nearly past out! God knows how I’m going to get through childbirth 🤣 xx

Did they give you any reason for the bleed before? Ring your epu again and hopefully they can do more tests to check what's going on. Did they check your cervix for infection? My midwife said that can be a cause for bleeding xx

@Blondiebrownie6 ha yeah my dh is desperate to tell his best friends. I wanted to wait until xmas and surprise his family, they are in Ireland so we wont see them before then. I thought it would be a nice surprise. He wants to tell them as soon as the scan is done 😂🤣

I've been feeling super gassy and bloated the last few days. Plus getting up to wee 3 or 4 times a night! Which is annoying! Going to try and drink more during the day today and less in the evening. See if that helps at all.

How are you doing? Is your finger ok?? It's ok in child birth you dont get to see all the funky goings on down below until after 🤣 then your so relieved it's all over you dont care lol xx
