Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@Tofu35

What are team-nausea having for dinner tonight? I found a recipe for oven baked (so no food smells) risotto. Hoping it's plain enough for me!
I find im hardly eating. I feel nauseas and just can't face anything. Especially not cooked things with the smell! I'm 7 weeks on Sunday and have lost 6lb already! Not a bad thing as I'm overweight anyway 🙈
rathernotshare · 14/10/2021 19:01

@JenniferR2021 my hips are sore too. I get a horrible stomach cramp when I sneeze!

HanBro · 14/10/2021 19:46

Can’t believe I got a positive test! This was our first month not preventing, hardly trying really. I’m in shock. I’m a scientist and have always found fertility/infertility fascinating, never thought I would be this lucky. Have been quite tired and backache, all normal for me before starting my period so didn’t think twice. I’m 3 wk 5 days due June 26 (I turn 30 on June 29!)

Can I cautiously join please?
Found out yesterday - due to start fertility treatment next week!!
I'm about 4 weeks I think Smile be nice to be able to talk to others about it when me and DH haven't told anyone else

blueberryy · 14/10/2021 19:53

Woohoo! Welcome and congratulations! That's a great positive line @HanBro!

makingamac · 14/10/2021 20:16

@Hanbro that's the same as me! And I think we may have the same first name :) rang the docs today and they more or less told me they won't bring me in for an appointment to confirm the pregnancy until after 6 weeks which is disappointing as it's such a long wait :( also said my period cramps aren't a good sign which has freaked me out! But so many people on here seem to be getting them! Have you got them?

Lozzlepop · 14/10/2021 21:25

Cautiously optimistic that after 4 miscarriages this is our rainbow 🌈 🤞🏻

@makingamac ahh congrats! Are you a Hannah as well? Haven’t even thought about who I need to call, I guess my GP? I work in a hospital so wonder if I can just call up the antenatal clinic and self refer. I feel exactly like I’m getting my period, I don’t normally get period cramps but lower back ache, which is exactly how I feel now. Will test again over the next few days to hopefully see the line get darker. I plan to book in for a private early scan around 7/8 weeks as waiting 12 weeks for NHS feels impossible haha.

My mum.said the same thing to me regarding period like pains that it wasn't normal so I'm.freaking out as I've had period pains all week since I found out Sunday and I am 6 weeks 3 days. So hard to know

unknownscot · 14/10/2021 22:35

I've had period pains all week too. My back gets sore at night too & quite nauseous after eating but so hungry.
Who knows if it means anything at all!
X

blueberryy · 15/10/2021 00:24

Thanks all for sharing the period like pains - it's reassuring! I finally heard back on my second hcg levels, and while it's not quite double, it's 93% - which feels pretty good for 48 hours later. Back on Monday for a third reading.

Chloesen90 · 15/10/2021 07:27

Ladies I'm cramping nearly every day and also getting little stabby pains every now and then. It's so nice to hear so many people are on hear too because as you all know everything is worrying!! I'm 5+1 and just counting down the days :(

PartyPotato · 15/10/2021 07:40

@Chloesen90 oh I have that too, in fact at about half 6 this morning I had the ‘stabby’ type pains on one side, quite sharp actually. I went back to sleep 😂 it’s my second though so I’m a bit more blasé about it

111222xx · 15/10/2021 07:41

Has anyone had any 'pulling like pain' in tummy? Whenever I roll over in bed or stand up too quick feels like my muscles are pulling XX

Chloesen90 · 15/10/2021 07:43

@PartyPotato so glad others are feeling the same things!

@111222xx Yes! When I roll over in bed it feels like I've done loads of sit ups using my uterus!!!

111222xx · 15/10/2021 07:45

@Chloesen90 ohhh thank goodness!! I have been awake most of the night worried about it. So nervous this time around after Early MC. So glad to hear someone else is experiencing it xx

rathernotshare · 15/10/2021 07:47

I'm 6 weeks today and the cramps seem to have gone, I had them quite badly between 4-5 weeks and was really worried! Fingers crossed all is ok. Now just scared that the nausea is on its way to get me 😰

PartyPotato · 15/10/2021 07:48

@Chloesen90 aching abs as well like I’ve done a workout!

PartyPotato · 15/10/2021 07:49

@111222xx yes I’ve had that too and remember getting it first time around as well, don’t worry about it :)

Chloesen90 · 15/10/2021 07:51

@rathernotshare that's reassuring then! I've got a scan booked at 6+5 and it can't bloody come quick enough!!

rathernotshare · 15/10/2021 07:53

@Chloesen90 aaahhh I'm jealous, mines 2 weeks today. Thought I'd book for 8 weeks but now i wish I'd done 7!

makingamac · 15/10/2021 07:59

@HanBro yes I'm a Hannah :) I'm defo going to have a private scan too. I thought that if you fell pregnant you immediately had to let your GP know and they'd call you in urgently! I'm so naive Blush glad to not be the only one with these "pains" - weird to say pain as they don't hurt so much, they're just there!

@EB86 I had to have a word with my Mum to not deflect any anxiety on to me and I think she's going to be scared to talk for 9 months but it's defo for the best lol. It's pretty clear by this thread (and others I've been looking at recently) that it's normal :)

PeeAche · 15/10/2021 08:14

@111222xx I have had this too. Seeing other people say they're having it is really reassuring.

Can anyone else say whether they've got vaginal dryness? And can it be normal? I'm terrified it means my progesterone is too low.

111222xx · 15/10/2021 08:17

@PartyPotato @PeeAche thank you for the reassurance! Just got to hold on 9 days until I have an early scan 🙂 xx
