Hey I'm only 10dpo but just got a faint positive 2 days ago and has been getting darker so hoping this is real. I calculated and I'm due June 1/2nd.

Anyone else due the same time as me? Want to hang out and keep me company I know it's early days.

@111222xx that's reassuring thank you! And congrats to you x

Prema11 · 13/10/2021 17:12

I’m 7 weeks today and like everyone else the days have dragged by, each day seems to take about a week… especially as I had spotting 5-6 weeks. Anyone else an IVF-er? I’m really struggling with all the meds, and they are soooo expensive, so looking forward to finishing with them

Equimum · 13/10/2021 18:30

Coffeepants I didn't tell DH until I was 6 weeks for exactly the same reason. I only did the self refer all form to the midwife today, and Imm almost 7 weeks. Here, though, they don't accept referrals before 6 weeks. When are you planning to tell you DP?

Coffeepants · 13/10/2021 18:39

@Equimum he has a birthday soon so have bought a babygrow which is a bit cliche I guess but I don’t think he is expecting it at all so would love to record him opening it up!

I have googled the referrals, will likely do it after I tell him.

Feeling so meh though, maybe cos I have loads on with work and other children.

Togetherismyfavouriteplace · 13/10/2021 19:30

Hey all!
I got my BFP last week and EDD is around 15th June! xx

Hayls07 · 13/10/2021 19:51

@peeAche the race is on sister! Smile

EB86 · 13/10/2021 20:44

Hi all, around 6 weeks after trying for 1.5 years. Due in June. So scared to get excited. Have period like cramps all the time, no other symptoms. I hope that's normal. 12 weeks will drag for us all.

AlbatrossSociety · 13/10/2021 20:55

Welcome everyone! Seems like there are loads of us, it's hard to keep up!

@Coffeepants I think that's so cute! Looking forwards to hearing about his reaction. My first positive test was quite faint so I called my husband in to see if he could see a line and we were both going 'I think there is' for about 5 mins before it sunk in what that meant! We were both a bit shell shocked - still not sure it's quite sunk in.

I had a really busy day at work today and thought that might make the day feel faster but it hasn't really, still dragging.

JenniferR2021 · 13/10/2021 22:56

I'm 14th June 😀

Nailingnow · 14/10/2021 05:51

Does anyone else feel like they need to start wearing maternity clothes already due to the amount of rubbish they have eaten (ridiculous I know - the baby is a tiny seed)

I reallllly want to eat well this pregnancy as I know I feel Will better and have more energy. I lived off such rubbish throughout my previous two pregnancies. I must do better this time!

Skinnymuffins · 14/10/2021 08:32

@Nailingnow me! I said last night (I'm 6+2) that I'm not quite ready for maternity clothes but my normal clothes are too small (jeans are digging in!) so I'm in a weird in between fat stage haha!

Skinnymuffins · 14/10/2021 08:33

@Nailingnow also I read that if it's not your first baby (this is my third) that you're more likely to show more? Because I've hardly eaten the last few weeks due to hormones causing my appetite to change so I'm confused as to how my belly us big already!

rathernotshare · 14/10/2021 09:40

I was already finding my clothes a bit tight so now I'm in a dilemma! I've just bought a new coat 4 sizes bigger than my old snug one to account for growth, I'll be wearing it probably into March.

PeeAche · 14/10/2021 09:49

My stomach has been sticking out since 2015. But I've only beeb pregnant for 4 weeks. Sad

I just bought a new pair of white jeans 2 weeks ago 🤣 and i threw rhe reciept away too.. guess i wont be wearing it

Skinnymuffins · 14/10/2021 10:00

@MrsNT haha keep them as your "I'm back to pre baby weight" celebration jeans haha

PeeAche · 14/10/2021 10:05

I have tickets tomorrow for a "scare event" at a nearby farm. It's like a walk through thing with jostling and people jumping out at you etc. Usually you have to "squeeze" through inflatable tunnels and run a bit. It's not too strenuous but it is advised that it's not for preggos. Obviously, we've had the tickets for a while.

I miscarried last time and so this time I'm highly anxious.

Would you go?

I am so glad this isn't just me! I thought I was just bloated from eating all the time!
HopefulJ2018 · 14/10/2021 10:46

Eurgh these cramps are stressing me out, so glad to read others are having them. It’s like a dull ache rather than full on cramps but I never knew they happened in early pregnancy. I retested this morning and CB digital had gone to 3+ Smile

Prema11 · 14/10/2021 10:54

Hey PeeAche, I probably would go and just take it easy. At this stage baby is so small and well protected that it can’t be hurt by bumps or squeezes. I was surfing in rough seas pregnant for a few days before I found out!

MrsNT · 14/10/2021 10:58

Primark has launched maternity wear. Not sure how it is but ill check it out.

MrsNT · 14/10/2021 11:00

Do bumps show alot more if you were very slim or not?

MrsNT · 14/10/2021 11:00

@HopefulJ2018 yes the cramps do startle me at some times and scare the hell out of me

MrsNT · 14/10/2021 11:01

Also has anyone been told to book flu vaccine?

JenniferR2021 · 14/10/2021 11:16

I'm 5 weeks feel massive
